Came here with a big group and appreciated how accommodating and friendly the staff was from start to finish. Service was quick and all of our dishes came out surprisingly fast, which made the experience smooth for a larger party. We ordered the tom yum soup, tom kha soup, pineapple fried rice, yellow curry, pad see ew, crying tiger, and pad thai. Most of the food was flavorful and satisfying -- the pineapple fried rice, pad see ew, mango sticky rice, and crying tiger were standouts for our table. Portions were also good. The only dish I personally didn't enjoy was the tom kha soup since the coconut flavor was extremely strong and the texture/consistency felt a little off to me. Ambiance-wise, the restaurant was casual, but it did feel a bit odd seeing huge piles of boxes inside and a broken light fixture during our visit. Was in the area yesterday and was passing by when it occurred to me I should stop and have a meal. Another one of those restaurants where you've always planned to stop and partake yet you take mental note and say 'NEXT TIME'. So yesterday was my 'NEXT TIME' and I am glad i stopped. Was pretty hungry having not eaten anything all day. So I opened up with a Thai Iced Tea to wet and water my palate. Next I ordered Cream Cheese Wantons that were soft and crispy as well as creamy and a delight to consume. I also ordered Chicken Fried Dumplings that were a light crisp warm and flavorful topped with sprinkles of crispy flakes on top. Was quite satisfied with the sauces and took both appetizers down relatively easy. Then the host brought the main dishes which were the Chefs Special Fried Rice which consisted of Chicken Shrimp and Beef as the Proteins. Chefs Special hit on all cylinders for freshness and flavor. Tasted Chef prepared. Second course was the Shrimp Hot Pot which was delicious! Flavorful for I am a sucker for Glass Noodles and was glad to have more (left over) to take home. Let's say all the dishes were beyond delicious. The customer care and service was pleasant vigilant professional and courteous. The dinning area and restaurant as a whole was nicely appointed as well as very clean making the ambiance one of casual sophistication. A cozy enough dinning experience that also was casual enough to watch baseball on the dinning area tv screen. Will surely return. Class act all the way round. We arrived as a party of 5 about 6:00 p.m. there was an hour wait to sit inside but we were told it would be quicker to order our food to go and sit outside so we did. Years ago, this place used to be my favorite Thai food, hands DOWN! I would always bring people here to taste it, and it became their favorite too. I moved away for about 5 years, and upon returning to the area, I was so anxious to get their food. We were skeptical about this place based on the reviews we've seen. Honestly, the food was really tasty, at least what we ordered. We got the beef salad, pad se ew, and P.E.T. It's a really confusing setting because you walk in, and there's a table blocking the hallway to the indoor dining, making it seem like takeout only. However, you can dine in. The service was great. Our waitress was kind and very friendly. We got seated quickly, and drinks came out fast. There are a few downsides though. Portions were on the small side, though, so we left not really full. They automatically add in an 18% service fee. And I've never seen pad se ew with literally no veggies. Also, rice is not included in any dish... not even curry dishes. The guy who took my order tonight was so rude, and said they couldn't do my peas and carrots on the side of the chicken fried rice like I've always done (for years!) I ordered this on DoorDash and I'm disappointed with my results. I got the Pad Thai and Crab Rangoon. I don't ever think I've had Pad Thai that had no vegetables at all. The color was basically the same throughout the enter dish. Flavor was a little bland. The noodles tasted like they were only boiled. Pork was cooked through, but a bit dry. It was almost like there was no oil used in the cooking process? Crab Rangoon were standard. Nothing special. I would give this place a pass. The price doesn't justify the quality of food. Flavor was tasty/average (better than just a soy sauce base but also didn't have the nice sear or Thai flavor of a traditional pad see ewe). * the garlic stir fry beef was by far the worst. In a small takeout box, half of the box was just filled with cabbage (see photo). The beef itself was incredibly tough and chewy and simply overall hard to even bite into. The flavor was below average & non memorable other than the fact that it was very disappointing. Probably one of the worst dishes at a take out restaurant I've ever eaten. * the Panang curry was delicious. Thick, great flavor. Very well done. Would come back for this dish again. Not too many condiments inside the curry itself. When eating this the next day, it got thicker and felt very heavy in terms of the coconut cream. We were given a receipt with a total amount on it with not itemized . We asked for an itemized receipt at not realizinh until after we left that it had an 18% surcharge and we had already added a tip to the Bill brought to the table that only had a total amount and no entres itemize with the amounts. I ordered the yellow curry with tofu and rice and specifically asked for it to be very spicy. It was not spicy at all. When the server came to check on me I told her but there was not any action on her part to correct it nor did she seem concerned that it wasn't how I requested.
