Met the family here for early Father's Day dinner. The service was friendly and quick. Decorations and ambiance felt very cultural. The food came out fast and looked very appealing. All the food was delicious. Roti was yummy especially the sweet curry sauce. It was a hit with the family. Crispy spring rolls were also tasty especially the dipping sauce. Papaya salad was a favorite of my mom. She especially enjoyed the tangy sauce. It was her first time trying it and enjoyed it a lot. The main dishes were very delicious and savory. Pineapple fried rice & Pad Thai tasted authentic. Panang Curry had a little kick to it but also very tasty. The kids all enjoyed the meal. It was a great experience.

This place has been a staple in our community for many years. My wife and I used to come here frequently and I'm glad to see that everything looks the same and business is doing well! We haven't had Thai food in awhile so we decided to come here for lunch. They have a nice lunch menu available at a reasonably fair price. All the lunch items come with soup and rice (rice does not come with their dinner entrees - you have to order that separately) We decided to order the Thai basil chicken, panang curry and papaya salad - all mild spicy level. We decided to order the dinner size because we were very hungry. The Thai basil chicken was absolutely delicious. Very flavorful and had the perfect amount of sautéed vegetables to help balance out the strong flavors. The portion size was acceptable. The panang curry was my favorite. Love the mix of the peanut flavors and the coconut milk. The curry thickness was perfect - not too thick, not too watered down. This went perfectly over a bed of rice. The papaya salad was fresh with a good assortment of different vegetables. Perfect amount to share for 2-3 people. It was also good to see the same staff that's still here over the years! Def recommend checking this place out for lunch/dinner!

Thai Grata is located in the Santa Teresa Main Street Shopping Center. The parking is plentiful in this large plaza. The restaurant is cozy though it can accommodate several parties of 6-12. I only got a Thai Ice Coffee, which was delicious and creamy. I'll be back to try their food.

One of my favorite spots for Thai food in SJ! I've tried a number of dishes here and particularly love the pad see ew, basil fried rice, yellow curry, spicy catfish, and papaya salad. Medium spice level definitely has a kick to it and is a good level for me without being overpowering. Quality and quantity of food you receive is well worth the price in my opinion, and the service is always quick and attentive when I've dined in here. Restaurant is cozy and quiet, I always have an enjoyable meal here.

Thai Grata has been in business for decades in this Blossom Hill plaza. There's plenty of parking and the restaurant is easily accessible. Every time I've stopped by, the restaurant has had a steady flow of customers. A waitlist on a clipboard is available for longer wait times. The restaurant is dimly lit for ambiance, but always clean. The Pad Thai noodles had a great texture and a balanced taste of sweet, salty, and sour. Peanuts and bean sprouts were placed on the side. The chicken in the Thai Fried Rice held its own flavor in the thai fried rice. There was a substantial amount of rice, egg, chicken, and tomatoes. Overall, a good place for thai food that is appropriately priced for its size!

This was my first time at this restaurant and it was quite enjoyable! The restaurant has a nice calm vibe and is dimly lit. Parking was easy to find and it wasn't busy on a tuesday at 5pm. We got the tom kha soup which was very flavorful and delicious on a cold day. We also tried the thai prawn salad which was fresh and the shrimp were seasoned nicely. The pad thai was my favorite, it had a nice flavor and the crushed peanuts were on the side so you could add them to every bite! For dessert we wanted the mango sticky rice, but they said the mangoes were out of season so instead they offered us sticky rice with fried bananas which was pretty good!

Needed to look for a restaurant in the Blossom Hill area and decided on Thai Grata. It's located in a strip mall and parking is not an issue. The decor is simple but comfortable and cozy. The two of us ordered family style and shared a Roti with curry sauce, a small Tom Kha Soup with chicken, Spicy Crispy Catfish, Chilli Seafood, and Green Curry Chicken. We ordered everything medium spicy. And of course we had to get the Thai Ice Tea and Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango for dessert. Food came out rather quickly, with the appetizer Roti first and then the soup and then the dishes. The Roti was not what I was expecting, a bit thick and doughy. Everything else was quite delicious. The chilli seafood came with a good variety of seafood and was very tasty. Thai Ice Tea was very good and so was the Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango. Portions were great and prices were reasonable. We had plenty of leftovers. Service was on point. This is a solid option for Thai food.

The restaurant itself looked so new as if they had finished construction. While we didn't go for happy hour, they had a massive bar inside. We ordered the pad see ew with tofu, and sesame chicken with white rice. It was a good lunch portion and was very tasty. My son works in the area so he has been here before and recommended it. Staff/servers were very nice and accommodating. We closed out our bill and we continued with our lunch date talking and catching up. They let us sit there outside uninterrupted until we were done (and we are SO SO SOOOOO sorry, we were there until 3PM). We had NO IDEA they close at 2PM until dinner time! We were very apologetic on the way out the door but they were saying it was fine. SIGH... No its not fine, I would have expected them tell us they are closing soon and maybe have us take our food order to go. Or closed out our bill and say they need to close to get ready for dinner... I ordered my curry hot and was pleasantly surprised that it actually had a good kick and made me sweat. Most places I go to don't ever make it spicy enough. The thai tea was really refreshing and the perfect drink for my meal. Appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet. There was one server holding it down when I came during Monday around noon. There was about 5 parties including myself and she was very efficient. I was able to dine in and get out of there within 30 minutes. The place is very casual.

Sadly, this isn't one of those places. As the 3 star rating suggests, it's "OK". The service is friendly, the food comes quickly, it includes a drink with the meal. So all that is good/positive. But, at least for my palette, the seasoning/taste just wasn't special or on par with what I'd consider to be "very good" Thai food. It's fine - I had no problem finishing the meal. But I didn't "enjoy" it per se - I just more or less ate it because it was there and wasn't bad at all. But my standard for Thai food is pretty high, so maybe it'll meet some people's standards. The place was decorated plainly and looked fine, but again, nothing special. But that's not really important to me, it's all about the food and this didn't really meet my standard.
