Amazing per usual. Tonight we had pot stickers and egg drop soup for an appetizer. Then we shared sesame chicken and stir fried vegetables with chicken. Soda refills are $.99, other than that I love this place! It's a beautiful little restaurant in an area I don't normally frequent. Right on when I presume to be a Main Street it's easy to find. The inside is very clean and well laid out. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was amazing! Sometimes it's difficult to find a decent Thai restaurant, but this one is probably my number two. I 100% suggest the volcano chicken. I wanted to gobble it all up even after I was full! Who knew you could find such good Thai food in Waterford. I was curious to see how they fused Thai and Italian food, but they only serve Thai food now. Everything we had was delicious. Their spice level goes from 1-5 and we got all of our dishes a level 3; which for us was the perfect level (nice little kick without burning off our lips). Always a go-to when visiting Waterford. The food is authentic and each plate is is made with the freshest veggies...still crispy but served piping hot. Their curry dishes are OTH! This place says they have the best Thai food in Racine County. That's indisputable, but they should say "Racine & Milwaukee County," because that's the reality. Better than the vaulted Sweet Basil on 27th (which is also great, but not quite as good). Better than Lucky Ginger, except for that establishment's Red Curry Chicken, which is top-notch. We've eaten at Thai over 100 times in the past 10 years and have had everything. read more

As I live near this fabulous place, i will keep reviewing it! IT is authentic and the owners are Thai. This is known, as pre COVID the would go back to Thailand for a moth and the restaurant would close down. Their food is so delicious! They have improved their fried rice and accommodate all requests, like skipping the onions! My only critique is the levels of spicy can vary. They offer 0-5 with level 5 supposedly being Thai super spicy. i have ordered level five Pad Thai several times and the levels of heat are all over the place, from super melt your face off hard to breathe spicy (THE WAY I WANT IT) or meh, barely spicy. I wish their was a codeword one could use who has proven they wont die from a Thai Level spicy dish. We have Thai friends in Milwaukee so I'm working with her and him on being able to order in Thai. Although a previous reviewer has hit it on the head, the owners do the cooking and the high school kids do the order taking and serving/bussing. They are super friendly all the same, but a super spicy dish may be lost in translation. LOL. Anyway, back to the food/place. the food is phenomenal. I know if several couples who will drive excess of 30 miles to come to this place. The dining in area has had a tad of a improvement, and they are trying to keep it authentic (if you have visited Thailand, you know what they are going for), and it is small, so on busy nights you may have to wait. I usually order take out, go down early and drink a couple of beers at their "bar." I would ask tat they get higher bar level stools/chairs for the bar area. If you sit down, and you are a grown up, you come almost eye level with the bar and have to reach up to get your beer! LOL! PLEASE give this place a try and let the world know what you think. Waterford, WI is a small town and this is one of the most awesome'ist places we have in the town, and the history of it being a split Thai and Italian restaurant is super cool. Excellent food. I have ordered takeout multiple times and each meal has been very good. I even ordered the wrong item (I clicked on an appetizer I didn't actually want online) and when I got it, wow! The app was delicious and I polished it off without a hitch. I will say that I am not a fan of their pad Thai, but even though it's not to my liking, I still say it's a 5/5 restaurant in my book. BEST THAI RESTAURANT OUT THERE! This is literally one of the only things Waterford truly has going for it. I moved to Madison after being in the Waterford area for most of my life and this is definitely one of the things I miss the most. I have not found any Thai food in Madison that even comes close to Thai Italina. Don't let the name off-put you like other reviewer's said- the place has a strange history as far as naming goes but this is now strictly a Thai restaurant with very authentic flavors and dishes. Another thing that many people have mentioned and to consider- yes, sometimes the staff here can be not on top of things. They have a high turnover rate but that's because most of the staff are high school students and there is usually only 1-2 waiters working but the food is worth the extra few minutes wait! Another perk- you get to choose the level of spicy-ness on a scale of 1-5. Everything here is amazing. My all time favorite dish ever is the Basil Fried Rice with tofu. The flavor is phenomenal and they cook the tofu perfectly. Another must have for me is their crab ragoons (the best ever) and the eggrolls but honestly, if you can't decide- just get the sampler platter because all of their appetizers are amazing! The volcano tofu (or any meat) is amazing. The sauce is to die for. Honestly can't say enough good things about this place! Love this place. We have eaten in before but it's been a solid option for takeout recently. The curries are my favorite but the noodle dishes are just as good. They, along with most businesses during the pandemic are in a employment crunch but they have done well to cope. Curbside pickup is hit or miss since they are busy most of the time but you will get your food if you go in to pick it up with in 5 minutes usually. Happy to have them nearby! read more

First, 5 stars is more than almost anyplace deserves, ever. Awesome food should be a given when you are paying for it, so awesome food gets 4 stars. 5 is for an unexpected mix of awesome food, top-notch service, and an overall great meal experience. This joint in Waterford (!) gets a 5 tonight. Driven past it probably 50 times and mocked the name nearly every time. Like if you saw "Senor Gonzales' Kosher Hawaiian Grinders", but not quite that mockable. Decided to try it as the Lovely and Talented Mrs. K was up for red curry this Saturday night. Place was clean, tidy, and relaxing. Cake, followed by Radiohead, was playing so things continued to look good. We ordered coconut shrimp to start so we could look at the fairly gigantic menu. 4 shrimps came in about 5 minutes with a sweet sauce. A bit too darkly done for us, but not at all greasy, and the sauce covered the slight burn taste. Our waiter, Kyle, was great. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and invisible until we needed him. Perfect. The L&T Mrs K couldn't decide between green curry, red curry, or volcano sauce and he brought us 3 samplers to try on out shrimp. All were really good in their own way. She got grilled chicken with green curry and volcano sauce and I ordered mee katee with chicken. It doesn't say so, but all dishes come with your choice of meat or tofu or extra veggies. Their spicy system goes from 1-5. L&T went with 2. Kyle said 4 was native Thai, so I went with that. I would go 5 next time, but I like super hot. Food cane in about 10 minutes and was terrific. 5 stars, 'nuff said. We will go back. Other folks around us tried the lettuce wrap, pot stickers and spring roll apps. All looked good and each said they were, so well try those next time. Kyle said they were closing down from December 6 - 26 because the owners were taking a trip back to Thailand (and taking him) to see family. SO...super important: THIS THAI PLACE HAS THAI FOLKS COOKING, Go there and try. I doubt you'll be disappointed. read more

Great food and very good service. Highly recommend. A hidden gem on Main Street Waterford.

I decided to rate this place as high as a 2 because the main dishes were fine. The floor, tables, and chairs were sticky. Empty tables were left uncleared. When the server brought out orders for other tables, he set his tray on the unused side of our table as he passed out meals. He did this three different times. We had to ask for menus, ask for water and were not offered containers for our leftover food. A year ago, I had a very nice meal here. After to night, I will never go back. read more
