I had great food here. I got pad ki mao and green curry. The curry portion was just as large as any other spot. My noodle portion was a bit smaller than other places but not too small. The best thing was the service. I'd had an issue with an online order that went through even though they weren't at the truck. I had to cancel it through Yelp and was very disappointed. When the owners find out they rectified the situation and made the food for us later anyway. They were very gracious through it too. Easily the worst Thai food I've ever had in my life. The flavors of even the most standard dishes (Pad See Ew and Green Curry) were completely off - to the extent that I question whether or not they ran out of the correct sauce (they used lime juice instead of soy for the Pad See Ew). The trailer is located in kind of a sketch food truck park where we saw random people wandering in and out and back in again. The park itself is set up oddly and kind of reminded me of a camp for homeless people with blankets randomly laying around. This review is for the Lost Creek location. I am thrilled that there is finally a good Thai option in Westlake! My husband and I have tried many dishes here and they're all delicious. My favorites are the pad kee mao and tom kha. I love that they are so nice about leaving out anything you don't like in the stir fries/curries such as onions. Wow. This one caught us off guard. With 4.5 stars, we ordered fairly confident that we were in for a nice Thai meal. As I sit here in the aftermath, I really regret the decision. The Pad Thai was poor. It just really lacked a good balance. The red curry was even more of a disappointment. The consistency was possibly the most watery I have ever been served and pale in color, as if it was on the verge of passing out. The vegetables and bamboo were water logged and over cooked. Picture a zucchini sliced and boiled for 45 minutes. The beef was tough and lacking flavor. I actually dumped out the liquid into a pan and boiled it for about 20 minutes. This thickened it to the minimum I can tolerate and made the flavors comically overbearing. I added some coconut cream to mellow it out. It was still thin, salty and lacking the complexity a curry should have. Oh, and the vegetable egg rolls were kind of like a gooey push pop. Bummer. read more

Very very good customer service! We called ahead & our order took 15 minutes to prepare. The woman working was extremely nice. I ordered the yellow curry with tofu and my husband ordered the pad Thai with chicken. My yellow curry was full of flavor. The portion was large enough to split between two meals! My husband's pad Thai was yummy! A little on the sweet side (maybe pineapple), but still awesome. We also loved the egg roles that came with our meals. I do wish there was massaman curry. Granted, the portion size isn't as huge as what you get in a restaurant; but honestly what you get here is the perfect amount anyways. I definitely got what I paid for, if not more. NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE. I ordered the Pad Cashew thru UberEats. It took 15 minutes longer than was anticipated on the website for the food to be ready and get to me. They were delivering to me on 6th street so I'm only about 5 minutes away from them. I got my food, and they forgot to add the rice that is supposed to come with this entree. I called the truck to tell them I didn't get any rice and the lady told me they would send me some. After 30 minutes of me calling, I called again because it still hadn't arrived, and she told me she already sent a guy to bring it to me. It's been 50 minutes now and I still don't have it. My food is cold. Horrible experience. Very horrible. I won't be eating here again. read more

It's a trailer tucked in with a bunch of others and it really feels like a welcoming food trailer community with lots of character. Thai Kruefha is located in a cute little food truck park that would've been nice to eat at on a nice day (it was super cold when we went). The first thing you notice about the truck is the absolutely delicious smell that comes wafting from it -- I was really excited to order my food after smelling what was in store! I got the pad thai, and the truck gave a decent portion size for the price (which was standard thai food pricing). The pad thai had a heavy tamarind flavor, which some people may prefer, but I think I personally like mine a little lighter. Overall, Thai Kruefha was a decent place to get dinner, and I had enough food leftover for a quick breakfast the next morning. This truck needs to be at 5 stars. I have had a lot of Thai food in my day; this is easily the best (particularly for the value). She keeps her menu small and works out of a truck = you aren't paying her for waitstaff or overhead. I never wait in line to eat here, and she cook very fast. When I get the food the meats are tender and fresh, not overcooked; produce is clearly fresh; food is hot, spicy, and delicious. As other reviewers have pointed out, if you ask for it very spicy, expect to get napalmed. Every time I feel like I'm getting sick I go to her and ask her for the maximum spice. It hurts, but the flavor is still amazing. Go see her!!! I want her to stay in business and be the east austin thai staple! I'm concerned that there's never a line or people eating her foods when I'm over there. She's the best. Get over there! Do it! read more
