Great food, quiet ambiance, and good service. I went with some friends, and we enjoyed all of our selections. I ordered Massaman curry for the first time, and it was so flavorful with just the right amount of spice. I would definitely eat here again.

This place is amazing! I had the lava chicken and wow! It came recommended from a friend who frequents this place and it did not disappoint. It may be somewhat unassuming from the outside as it's nestled in a shopping center but step inside and you'll find a fantastic restaurant with great service, good atmosphere and most importantly, great food!

I'm gonna start with the positive, and then the minor negatives, and by the end it's going to be an outright tirade. So, I guess consider this your warning if you wanna skip the whole thing. [] The Good [] The Spicy La Moon Stir Fry was delicious. They were incredibly chintzy on the meat, so I was eating mostly carrots/cabbage, but those carrots and cabbage were able to really do the work of keeping me happy because of the great sauce/flavor. [] The Average [] Prices are kinda high. It's going to be a minimum of $15, but likely more once you include tip and stuff. [] The Bad [] The Pineapple Curry was nothing but "Heat" and "Sweet." I've had Pineapple Curry before where there were also savory elements. But this was just spicy (which I asked for it, so I wasn't opposed to that) on the front end, and then it was really sweet at the back end. Like a weird spicy dessert... [] The Outright Clown-Make Up Level Customer Service Fail [] My friend asked if he could get some hot water instead of ice water. They said sure. Then at the end when I paid for the meal, I noticed on the receipt that they had added $0.75 for hot water. I asked them about it because WTF to charging for hot water? The server tells me that it's because they had to use electricity to boil the water. I think I was stunned by the stupidity of the logic there. I think my face also communicated my annoyance about the whole thing. But I always struggle with walking that fine line of being like "yo, this is not okay" and not ending up being an outright Karen about it in the process. But the kicker was that after I paid, the server comes back and effectively said, "We got this restaurant from someone else, and we didn't know that they charged for hot water. But the next time you come, tell us and we won't charge for the hot water." Okay, there are so many layers of the trash-levels of service recovery to unpack here, but I'm going to do it regardless: 1. He straight told me that he was going to pass off the cost of electricity (which is absolute nonsense and nowhere near $0.75) for boiling some water on our behalf. 2. He waited to charge my card, before then blame-shifting to the previous owners on why it happened. 3. He lied about how he was unaware that their system charges for water, like I was going to forget that just 10 minutes earlier, he was really quick to come up with the nonsense about electricity costs when I asked him about getting charged for hot water 4. His attempt at service recovery was not to offer any form of corrective action. Not an offer to refund me. Not even a statement saying they will remove that egregious hot water charge from their system. The most magnanimous thing this tightwad business owner was offering to do was to comp me for hot water (IF I ASK), the next time I visit. To quote one of my favorite memes: "The Lion, the Witch, and the Audacity of this B..." The receipt they provide recommends 18%, 20% and 30% for gratuity. At some point, you're not interested in running a restaurant. You're interested in ripping people off and doing it through food (or hot water).

Pretty good quality Thai food in an authentic interior environment. Good Khao Soi or curry noodle soup. The cheese rolls are also not bad. Got take out so didn't get a chance to experience their service however. Recommended!

The office decided to come here for lunch and it is a great spot to eat!l I've been here multiple times just have never reviewed. I absolutely love this place! The flavors are clean & fresh and the lunch menu has great choices. On this particular visit I had the Lava Chicken Stir Fry with a heat level of 3 out of 5. Could have gone higher. The portions were good for the price which is why I love coming here!

My wife and I wanted to try something new and to open our sinuses haha. This place does just that, from being tucked in the corner of other store fronts, to the quiet cozy atmosphere. We ordered pick up so the service did take sometime but by golly was it worth it. We split the lava chicken stir fry with miso soup. Along with the out of this world Mexican sushi rolls.

Great Thai spot! Locally owned by wonderful folks. Here's what we ordered: Kao Soi Noodle Soup w/chicken- Egg noodle with carrot, onion in yellow curry topped with crispy noodles. This is a family favorite. The soup base is made of coconut milk. It's creamy, sweet, sour and salty with a very slight kick. Got a little of everything you're craving. :) Duck Noodle Soup- Crispy duck and carrot cabbage, onion, bean sprout in a dark broth with rice noodles. This dish is a favorite of my son. It's not my favorite because this rendition is more sweeter than I'd like. You can really taste anise or something in the Chinese 5 spice mix. My son loved it! We get this at another restaurant and he actually thought this one was better. Very warm and comforting food. Duck Fried Rice (special)- Tasted very much like a basil fried rice with duck. Very good. I don't know if having duck made much of a difference. I think any protein would work. My wife thought it was perfect and I thought it was a little saltier than needed. But it was still good. Our entrees were preceded by bowls of salad. The entrees seem pricey but it's comparable to other places. BUT you'll be pleasantly surprised of the quantity. You can easily split all the entrees listed above!! It's HUGE for one person. Very kind, welcoming people with a nice vibe, clean interior and fast service. This is a must try for sure!

I came here twice and both times very disappointed. I got pad thai the first time and basil noodles the second time. Both are not good. I see the reviews on Yelp are mixed and I wanted to judge for myself. Maybe I ordered the wrong things but the items are pricey and when I didn't eat much because they're not good I can not afford to come back to try other things. I would not recommend and will not return. Very sad and disappointed though.

Went here a few months ago. Meh... typical Thai menu of American favorites, but had Khao Soi in it (which is harder to find) so I thought we should try it. Khao Soi was OK. My wife had green curry. Again, just OK, but they both lacked a lot of the Thai flavor that usually accompany these dishes. They defiantly do not use enough fish sauce, basil, golungal, and Thai chili in there dishes. Service and atmosphere were OK too. They are trying to appeal too much to American Thai preferences. read more

My wife and I have gotten take-out from Thai La Moon three times now, and we really enjoy the food. Our favorite dishes are definitely the stir-fry options, as the have a very full flavor and the ingredients are very fresh. The curry and noodle options are very good as well, though the Pad Thai was a little on the bland side compared to the other excellent offerings we've had. We've only tried the spring rolls from the appetizer menu, but they were very fresh and the sauce included for dipping was tasty. The portions are very generous for the pricing, as each entree we've gotten is nearly two full meals. Could easily split a single entree as well. They offer Mild, Medium, Hot and Thai Hot for spiciness levels. I had to ask for Thai Hot plus extra to get to the level of spiciness I enjoy for thai food, but they made it without complaint. My wife, who is much more mildly inclined had to kick it up to Hot to get enough spice, so if you like spicy food don't play it safe when ordering. Highly recommend the Chicken Garlic and Pepper stir fry. Maybe one of the best dishes I've ever had from a restaurant. Very excited this place is open and so close to our house. read more

I just moved to Edmond and had other Thai places. None compare to Thai la moon! Best customer service and the best Thai food I've found in northwest Oklahoma. Pad se ew was very flavorful and filling. Highly recommend! read more

1 star is being polite. The food was awful. Way too salty and not fresh. My husband had the Thai Tom Yum soup with shrimp and we could smell the shrimp as soon as it got close to our table. I had the Wonton soup and it was incredibly salty, and the veggies were almost raw. Then for our main courses I had the pad Thai...it was mushy. Pad Thai should not be mushy, and again way too salty. And my husband had the Lava Chicken there was nothing "lava-esque" about it...it tasted like a decent version of Sweet and Sour Chicken. One of our friends also had the Pad Thai at the "Thai Hot" level of spice......it was not spicy. Now the only reason there's 1 star was because of the duck. Our friend got the Basil Duck with veggies. That one actually had some heat to it, and it wasn't over seasoned. Only bad part about that dish was the rice was over cooked . So in closing...not worth it. There are plenty of other Thai food restaurants out there that are much better. Food - 1 star Service - 2 stars (they were nice) Quality - .5 star read more

I don't know how I haven't written a review sooner honestly. The owner of this restaurant is wonderful, and the food is delicious. The massaman very is my favorite, but everything is delicious!They take pride in their work, portions are large, and prices are reasonable. We love coming in and being greeted like friends, and will continue to come here as long as we live in the city. 10/10 recommend! read more

I am glad to see another new restaurant in NW Edmond. I am also glad to see another Thai option (especially after my favorite Thai place in OKC closed a few years back). I had the Pad Thai with chicken (medium spice). It was a huge portion. And the spicy level was a good kick without being too much. Very tasty. Friend had the Fresh Ginger Fish. It also was a huge portion and it got good reviews. I would recommend giving this place a try. The portions make it possible to take half home and make a second meal out of it. read more

Sadly I get more to-go orders than dining in so all of my comments will be on the food. Huge portions and so delicious. The Massaman Chicken Curry is my absolute favorite. I get it mild/medium which gives it a nice heat without burning your tongue off. My husband likes the Beef Pad Thai. read more

This is my new place for Thai fusion. Just had my second visit today for a late Sunday lunch. Pad Thai is a bit of a comfort food for me and theirs is phenomenal. We love their gyoza as well. It was cooked perfectly and the taste was perfection. My daughter ordered the garlic fish on our first visit for a Wednesday lunch. It was a generous portion ordered from the lunch menu. She is 12 and loved it, so did my 8 year old!! They have a nice kids' menu that accommodates the shy eaters. The owners are super sweet. I'm so happy to have such a great restaurant so close!! read more

Lunch portion was just right. Thai basil with beef, it had a good flavor, I ordered it med/hot and it came out a little spicy but I will probably try hot next time. Basil was not overpowering but I like mine with a bit more. Service was good, glass stayed full and she was concerned it might be too spicy. They have a mild, medium, hot and Thai hot scale. I was a little disappointed in the spring roll, it was a vegetarian and I prefer a little protein, just a little bland for me. Definitely worth a repeat visit, they have a lot of menu variety, seafood to duck, so there are a few more selections I would like to sample. read more

Great Thai option in Edmond! I was impressed by the very fresh and simple tom kha soup. My husband got curry and it was spicier than we are used to, but still very good. We have tried all other nearby Thai places and been dissatisfied-- this is much better. We got takeout but the interior looks nice, modern, and clean. read more

Wow! My Red Curry was pretty good. Flavors great. What seemed to be lemon grass sticks were not quite soft yet, perhaps it needed more cooking time. The broth was great as were the pieces of white meat chicken! The strips of green pepper were tender but not mushy! All in all a great experience. Prices are on par with the rest of Edmond's Thai restaurants. Wish for a few simple lower priced appetizers; but, oh well that is not reality anymore! read more

Was in OK for a few days and went here on whim. So glad we did. The Tom Kha soup was fantastic and the Pad Woonsen was the best I've ever had. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and has a very nice atmosphere. Oh, and If you like Thai Hot, you actually get Thai Hot! I would highly recommend Thai La Moon. Yum! read more

Great food! Very authentic and family friendly environment. I would recommend the panang curry or pad thai. They are both amazing. I do not know why people have said it has no flavor when it has tons of flavor and is very authentic!! The service is amazing! When I first walk in they ask me how many are in my party just like all the high end restraints around the city. If they do not ask how else do they know where to seat you? I will definitely be back!! read more

My first time there was impeccable. Clean environment , delicious food, large portion sizes, and great service! This is a perfect place for families or date nights. Really disappointed with the food. Chicken smelled like fish. Couldn't eat anything but the spring rolls...well, two of them. The smell was just too much. Thought we might find our "go to" Thai restaurant...instead we found our "not to go to again" Thai restaurant. Super sad I paid over $30 to learn the hard way. read more

We have eaten here for lunch and dinner now several times, and my entire family loves it! We have tried several sections off the menu and have not had anything we didn't call our new favorite. The coconut ice cream for dessert is almost worth a trip by itself, and the Thai Tea might be my new favorite drink. 5 Stars, great value, fair prices, excellent service, amazing food. If you are considering it, do it! You won't be disappointed. read more

Great local restaurant! I usually order Pad See Ew or soy sauce noodles at any Thai place. This was my favorite pad see ew! The wait staff has lots of smiles and is very helpful! Cool feature, they have plugs at every booth in case you need to plug in. Definitely our new go to Thai food! read more

This is really good Thai food. It's all made fresh and is delicious. The Lava chicken and lava fish are really good, but the Basil stir fry with chicken is my favorite by far. I eat here often and have never had a bad meal. Try the fried ice cream too! read more

We ate here exactly one time because they wouldn't serve us at a second trip. Hours state they are open until 9, we walked in at 8.30 only to be told they couldn't seat us bc it was almost time to close--but they could make a to go meal. This made no sense to me because they still must dirty the kitchen for a dine in or carry out, right? Boils down to lazy staff with poor customer service skills who won't stay a few minutes past 9. We took our appetites money elsewhere. If they continue this type of service I'm sure may others will do the same--go somewhere else. At the very least change hours on the door to read "dine in open until 8pm, carry out until 9pm." read more

Excellent Thai restaurant. It's new, clean and the food is delicious. Had lunch here, great prices, complementary soup and big enough portions that I left full. Even offered more rice if I needed it. I will definitely be back as this is my new favorite Thai place in Edmond. My wife had the red curry and I had the spicy bamboo. Both excellent! read more

Thai La Moon was a happy discovery! The owners are the ones working there and showed real commitment to ensuring that we had a great meal and good experience. My husband and I tried the Pad See-Ew and the Basil Noodles with chicken. They made sure we were getting the right level of spiciness and said they would work to correct it if it wasn't right. We also had wonton soup and vegetable soup. All of the food was great! The service was wonderful and since it was clear we were exploring the menu and asking a lot of questions they gave us a complimentary Thai tea at the end of our meal so we could try that, too. We will definitely be going back! read more

We got the bayou mix butter/seasoning which had a little bit of a kick- good for me but on the spicier side for my husband. One thing I would recommend is watching a video on how to open the crab legs up prior to coming. We figured it out eventually with the tools they have but it took some practice. About halfway through the meal, I asked to see the manager bc the promo online says nothing about only being Monday-Friday, but once I got here all the signage said it and my server nervously told me it was only M-F. I called the manager over to let her know the online promo is misleading and should probably be corrected. She said "most people call in to check but I guess I could correct it for the few people who only look online." She didn't honor the promo for me. She apologized, but there was no action. There is a new AYCE sushi place by Penn Square mall that is 10x better than this place and it's only $32.99 instead of $34.99. Driving to OKC will be worth it.
