    Banana Dumpling

Looks can be deceiving! I'm excited to have eaten at this place mind you our plates aren't even done yet !! The HOST/SERVER is very sincere excuse my shyness that I haven't gotten his name errrrrr. To start off the water is excellent , A great way to cleanse my palate to start off and get ready for the amazing food provided. I chose a Thai Super Special , I , also had a soup and a Pad Thai with some spring rolls to start off the night. Let me tell you about the banana dumpling it's like you just have to come to this place and TRY IT OUT ! Ambiance is more than Superb it's like YOU HAVE TO TRY IT OUT ! ENJOY THE FOOD ! IT'S A LOVELY PLACE!! OH BTW EVERYTHING IS FRESH ! FRESH ! FRESH !

Drunken Noodle with Shrimp! A little spicy!

Food, service, and ambiance was amazing! the lunch special is unbeatable. I got the Drunken Noodles with Shrimp for +1 up charge which is very reasonable. The lunch special comes with other options too. The drunken noodles are a little spicy but VERY doable (i can't take too much spice).

probably the cheapest thai lunch special ive indulged in and i thought the food was pretty decent! its a very small place and I was the only one seated but it still took a while to get my food but might be bc they were swamped with delivery orders. really enjoyed the tom kha but pad thai was a tad too salty / sour.

    Pineapple fried rice with beef.

I get the Pineapple Fried Rice with beef. I absolutely LOVE this dish it's sweet with a curry taste, it sounds unorthodox at first but wait until you try it. The restaurant itself is a little shack on E 118 st with a hipster vibe to it. It's nice and simple nothing too much. Good place to eat on a budget overall

The food was delicious and was delivered pretty quick! I ordered the drunken noodle and though I ordered only mild spicy I'd say it was probably made much spicier. I don't have a very high spicy tolerance so it's something it keep in mind if you order mild spicy. That being said it was very delicious and filling enough and I ate the entire dish. It could have been a larger amount of food but compared to other NYC Thai food it was a pretty good value for the amount. There was a fair amount of chicken and they did give an option to add more chicken for a fee. I thought the dish toppings went very well together. Excellent noodles. The Thai super dumpling was also quite good and unique. It was a very good size and perfect for sharing with a good amount of the filling. The pineapple fried rice was great and exactly what we expected. The tofu wasn't dry at all. There could have been more pineapple in the dish. Overall it was delicious, well priced, and satisfied our Thai food cravings and we will definitely be ordering again from here!

    Chicken Pad Thai

Ordered take out from here, and it arrived packaged nicely and still hot! I loved the pad thai with chicken here - soft noodles, and a good balance of protein, vegetables, and garnish. The drunken noodles also had a nice spicy kick to it and a variety of veggies mixed in as well.

It's a small place but very accommodating. The food is really good. Service is very friendly and courteous. Definitely a sweet spot for a quick Thai fix!

There was a dead cockroach in the food.

You only get 90 minutes to dine, but our server was a little generous with that time limit as there wasn't any one waiting when we left. All of the dishes we ordered was good in it's own right. The pork belly fried rice had a hint of sweetness to it. I think it might be tamarind or something. But I could totally be off based. The crispy bits of pork belly added a nice texture. It's nothing like I've ever had before. The short ribs was fantastic. Full of flavor and fall of the bones tender. The papaya salad is something that was very familiar to all of the others I've had. Very comforting. Overall, I would definitely come back here and receiving great service on top of the great tasting food was all I could have asked for.

They had a very respectable pad see ew beef - sweet and savory, good amount of egg, a little stronger bitter broccoli but otherwise a good dish, good quantity to fill you up even though in the bowl it seemed smaller than it actually was with the rice noodle cooked well. The steamed sea bass with garlic and lime (Pla Neueng Manow) had beautifully cooked sea bass with a very nice spicy/sour/savory green garlic sauce which I'll have to try again. The fried version is supposedly very good, too, and the one person that always gets the basil fried rice had a wonderful aroma that we'll have to try again later. Mango sticky rice was a tasty dessert (although we probably didn't need the 3 orders they recommended for our table of 6), though usually like I like the purple rice version better, and came with a very cute shovel spoon. They gave a free birthday dessert of caramel delight which was ok, crumbly and sweet (I'm not a caramel fan but others liked it). Overall, good experience and solid food - while not the best Thai I've ever had, this certainly is a keeper for the Midtown East area. Will come again soon to try the lunch specials! Service was a little slow due to how busy they were, but do appreciate the birthday candle for the birthday friend!

A quick ride on the LIRR or E Train will have you enjoying some of the best Thai food NYC has to offer. For me it all started with their Shrimp Croquettes that were fried to perfection and packed with flavor, then it was the Crispy Pork Belly, and for a second, I had to ask myself, am I in the Dominican Republic?! The crunch, seasoning, and flavor in every bite let me know immediately that they understood the crispy pork belly assignment! Let's not forget the cocktails! Each drink paired beautifully with the appetizers and dishes throughout our dining experience. Now, let's talk about the entrées. Their menu ranges from specialty seafood dishes to authentic, modern Thai cuisine. As a seafood lover, I especially appreciated the generous amount of Lump Crab meat in the Southern Crab Curry. The flavor was rich, comforting, and absolutely worth ordering. But the unexpected STAR of the night was the #TaroCustard! Who knew that the "everything bagel energy" could transfer so effortlessly into a dessert?! It was those crispy fried shallots that did it for me!
