The Pad Thai was savory and satisfying, with the perfect balance of noodles, peanuts, and lime. Every dish was full of flavor, and you can tell everything is made with care. We can't wait to come back and try more! What really made the experience, though, was the people. Hidden gem alert!!! Just happened upon this place after a Pilates class next door and boy what a pleasant surprise! The storefront is so unassuming but what a wonderful gift of yummy food it holds inside. Service was attentive, friendly and helpful. And the food, nothing short of delicious and absolutely authentic. The Thai spring rolls were fresh and came with an absolutely divine peanut sauce. Best I've ever had, no joke. Then came the so fresh and so clean clean papaya salad. Jam packed with fresh flavor and delightfully crisp. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I ordered the Tom Yum soup based on the owner's recommendation. The soup was delicious and had a good balance of flavor. I was served ample rice to accompany my soup. I had a sweet tea to drink. I am fairly picky on tea as i do not like to too sweet or unsweet. They tea was a perfect amount of sweet that complemented the food. The service was wonderful they never let my drink get half full or low on ice. They would check to make sure I had enough rice or if my soup needed anything. I frequently eat alone as i am introverted and enjoy my space. The staff took the time to talk with me and make me feel welcomed. It felt like going to family home for the holidays. The ambiance is simple and elegant. They have holiday decorations in just the right places. I also enjoyed how they used decorations from nightmare before Christmas. I found that to be a cute and fun touch. The overall experience was very positive. I had ordered take out before but it was my first time dining in. Dined here with my family in honor of my nephew's 20th birthday. I had been to this place before back when it was Vegan Thai so I was familiar with the location. We arrived right at noon when they opened and were the first diners. Although, a few more people showed up a little after we did. The owners very friendly and warm. After looking over the menu for a few minutes, I decided on one of their specials, the Panaang Duck. I had never tried duck before and I love Panaang Curry so I figured I would give it a try. I usually like spicy but I figured I would play it safe and went with level 2 out of 3. Our food was quickly served. I thoroughly enjoyed my entree! The duck was super tender, and the skin was nice and crisp. The spice was hotter than I thought it would be, but not overbearing. The dish came with a side of rice which help soak up the sauce. After our lunch, they brought some coconut ice cream for my nephew. He is not a fan of coconut so he let us have it instead. The dessert was a nice foil to the dish that preceded it. We tried this place when it opened in our neighborhood, because it was close, and I was really surprised at how good it was! We've only done delivery/pickup. But we keep going back for more. My favorite Thai dishes are pad Thai and pad see ew, my husband likes beef kaprow and panang curry. All of them are excellent here. They have a coconut tapioca dessert that I am OBSESSED with. Started off with water, tea & a free soup of the day with our lunch order. The soup was chicken and rice and was delish! It was fresh and savory with small pieces of chicken, rice, cilantro & a very tasty broth. I could def eat a bowl of this. We also ordered spring rolls & fried riblets as an appetizer. Both were good. The riblets were a little tough, so extra chewing required. Spring rolls were hot and fresh with the yummy dipping sauce on the side. I think I forgot to take pics of the lunch dishes. I think I was too into eating at this point. I ordered Panang curry. Spice level 2 (out of 3) and it kicked me right in the throat! It was spicy!! But, it was yummmy too! I ordered it with chicken & it also had carrots, red and green peppers & celery, I believe. Spicy but yum! My mom had Pad Thai at a spice level 1 (I couldn't taste the spice because my palette was already on fire!) My mom liked it. I thought it was tasty! Listed as a best seller on the board. Finished our lunch with sticky rice and coconut ice cream. Must have! So perfectly fresh & delicious & presentation perfect for my birthday!
