We had a reservation for a large group at 7pm. For the order, you place it through a QR code menu at your table. But to pay for the check, you can't do that through the same ordering system, you'll have to flag down an employee. For appetizers we had the Chicken Satay and the roti with curry sauce. Both disappeared quickly amongst the group but the chicken satay and sauce got audible reactions from a few of our group members. The Tom Kha was my favorite dish of the night. For those who can tolerate more spice, the first bowl from the Tom Kha hotpot should be yours! The chili oil floats to the top making the first bowl the spiciest. The soup become more and more mild as you get to the bottom of the bowl. We also ordered the Pad Kee Mao, Pad Thai, Pineapple Fried Rice (has large pieces of pineapple!). We also ordered the papaya salad. We had this on with Mild spice but we should've turned up the heat as the spice was not present. I came here with some friends a while back so that we could try multiple dishes. We picked this place because they have many vegetarian options, as you can choose tofu for the protein. Pad see ew: The tofu pieces were somewhat small. It had a decent amount of soy sauce, however, so I still liked it, but wish it had more tofu. Basil eggplant tofu The tofu were tiny on this too. It's salty and somewhat spicy, I was not sure what to expect on spice level before I ate it. The eggplant isn't mushy which I appreciated texture-wise. We ordered the papaya salad and thai bbq sliced pork dish for dine-in on a Sunday evening. There were plenty of tables available to seat ourselves and order using the qr code at our table. Staff provided friendly and attentive service. These were large servings, the salad particularly piled high. The food was made fresh, the salad with a nice saltiness to it. The bbq pork was tender, slightly charred on the outside, and sweet in flavor. There were two large TV screens in the dining area, and random music playing in the background, including oldies like My Girl by the Temptations and some Ed Sheeran tunes. Was craving Thai food and wanted to try a new place. Stumbled upon Thaibodia Bistro and after seeing some positive reviews, I made an order through Yelp. I ordered the roti, vegetarian tofu and egg Pad See Ew, spicy catfish, and the yellow curry with chicken thigh and legs (about $70 before tip). The shop is in a small plaza with some parking spaces outside and at the plaza next door. The inside is spacious and clean, service was quick and attentive. I noticed when I walked in that they offered a special where you can get 3 entree items for $38.99 or 4 entree items for $54.99. A bummer that I didn't see this before ordering since all the items I got were on the list. Food was abundant and really delicious. The catfish was really spicy with a good amount of basil and paired well with rice or the the pad see ew noodles. I liked that they included 4 different veggies in the vegetarian pad see ew in addition to the egg and tofu pieces. The chicken was actually battered and fried before settling in the yellow curry sauce along with potato and veggies- super hearty and tasty. The Choo Chee curry was contaminated. The baby corn used were rotten. Also oil was not good. I called and inform the restaurant. My friends and I came here right after we finished a nice hike. It was mid week and mid afternoon where we were the second table to dine in. The menu is Thai and also Cambodian influence. The ambience is really clean and trendy. For our meal, we started with 1 iced green tea, 1 iced coffee and 1 iced coffee. The green tea tasted very bland but sweet, the iced tea tasted really sweet and didn't have enough tea flavor, the iced coffee was strong but also very sugary. We ordered a few dishes and all of which tasted just "fine". The chicken dish with jalapenos was very very salty and greasy, the red curry with beef was fine (not fantistic but not terrible), the cod with the curry and scrambled eggs was ok and the pad thai with chicken was the crowd's most disliked dish. The noodles were very soggy and the sauce was overly sweet. Overall all the dishes tasted really sweet or really salty. I grew up having food from my Thai neighbor and in my opinion the taste of the dishes here are more like fast food Thai food flavors. read more
