First time here which was great. I've walked by a few times while at the hangers. It was still pretty early when we stopped by which also happened to be happy hour. The hostess was quite sweet when we walked in. As we had our little fur baby with us, we were seated at one of the tables on the patio. It was still early and that in-between time so it was pretty quiet. A large party was set up next to us. Melinda took care of us and she was the sweetest. Happy hour was happening which we took advantage of. It was 4.00 off appetizer, 2.00 off draft wine and beer. Also, they made sure that our little pup was well taken care of as well. Food wise, an order of the poke wrap. Nice chunks of ahi with a scoop of rice, lettuce, avocado and wasabi sauce. It was good but a little messy. As it would be with all of the lettuce wraps. The steamed mussels which is a must. The broth was delicious and served with two nice thick slices of toasted bread. Decent size mussels cooked deliciously in the broth. A must try. Lastly the calamari which was tossed with jalapeños. Both deep fried and quite tasty. Nice crunch to it but not overly cooked. That was also served with two dipping sauce. Everything was delicious. Towards the end of the meal, Melinda noticed that a bug was in my wine which she was very sweet about and made sure to take care of it. The simple little gesture was greatly appreciative. The whole experience was excellent. Everyone was the sweetest and friendliest. Will definitely be back.
We come for lunch a couple of times a year. Today the patio was packed but we got the last open table. Our waiter was attentive and heeded our request- in the past appetizers were delivered along with the entree and it was just too many food items to eat all at once- we asked for it to be brought a fair amount of time ahead of our lunch items and it was perfect. The poke salad bowl was so good. Delicious combination of flavors, and the pickled vegetables had a kick! There was a glaze on everything but a dipping sauce would have been nice. The steak salad was delicious, the beef cooked perfectly and my balsamic vinaigrette on the side as requested. My only complaint was the caramelized walnuts were whole and so hard I almost broke a tooth biting it.
Went to the 908 for happy hour yesterday. Draft beers 2 dollars off and appetizers half off. Have previously tried the calamari and it's very tasty. Yesterday had the poke wraps which was very good as well. 908 is always a great spot to come to for delicious food. Bar had plenty of space to hang out. Happy hour is 3-6.
I came in for an elevated yet casual place to eat tonight at The 908. I've been many times and I love they change their menu semi frequently to keep things fresh! I got the shrimp pho burger and that thing will blow your mind! How do they hit essentially every flavor note to the soup but in a burger?!? The short rib tonight was tender and succulent. I also got the crispy rice with spicy tuna... that was delicious as well but I couldn't wait to take a photo for that one! I sat at the bar and the service was fast and attentive. The food runners were also extremely professional and polite. Great time! This place is spacious too!!
Our server was amazing and did a great job for us. We were seated outside on the patio which was nice but the neighboring table was extremely loud and made it difficult for us to have any level of conversation. We started our meal with the artichoke flowers which were delicious. My sweet potato tacos were spicy and my husband's fish tacos were kind of bland. But the broccolini was delish! We felt rushed to leave due to the noise level but would've loved to hangout and enjoy our cocktails on such a nice summer night. Maybe next time.
Gilbert is amazing! Bright and full of energy, and so was the hostess that sat us. Nice, open and airy space. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. Next time I'm going to order a side of the gravy!More GRAVY!!
It has been over two years since coming here. The 908 has certainly upped their game and has earned my five star rating. The food here is amazing, the service is quick and very accommodating, the ambiance is great. We had the cheese stuffed artichoke hearts as an appetizer, followed by their lobster roll. I opted for the garlic fries with extra garlic, my daughter had the same entree but with sweet potato fries. So many good choices!!!! I need to come back to try their maple glazed pork chop, and try their pistachio panko crusted halibut.
Fun Fact: September 8th is 908 Day in Long Beach. The day pays tribute to the city's unique Zip code, which fosters community pride. Hence the name of this restaurant. I ventured out to this neighborhood friendly establishment to meet some darling Yelp ladies for Sunday Brunch. On this lovely day, I encountered a beautiful soul named Feskeli. I wanted to soak up all her energy and carry it in my heart. We were joined by my Yelp sister Te-See - another beautiful soul that lights up the room with her infectious energy. The 908 is spacious with fun, funky artwork on the walls and a fantastic bar that takes center stage. Our server Bubba was awesome! He had a great personality and went the extra mile to ensure my friend's dietary restrictions were addressed. We adored him! I love my martinis with Blue Cheese olives and love them even more when served with a shaker on the side and that's how you get them here. Plus, it's poured at your table. Bonus points for this, and the 908 martini was delish! I typically don't eat until later in the day, so I ordered a side of fruit. The fruit was ripe, sweet, and fresh. It's worth noting that you can also order off the lunch menu during brunch. However, my friends ordered Brunch dishes. One got the 908 Omelet and the other the Classic Breakfast. Both servings were generous and reasonably priced. They enjoyed their meal and we enjoyed our time together. I made a reservation for 10 people and was thoroughly impressed with how they handled our party. We were able to get separate checks. In the morning they called to confirm whether or not we wanted to sit outside. They also asked if it was a special occasion. It was. It was a reunion three years in the making and the celebration of a birthday. Jessie was our server and he was amazing. He handled all the details and kept track of our progress without being intrusive and was helpful in taking pictures for us. You could tell he wanted to celebration to go well. He even brought out a slice of cake for our birthday girl. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The biggest compliment came from one of our parties husbands as he said he thoroughly enjoyed what he ordered. Apparently that doesn't happen often. The person sitting next to me mentioned how much she enjoyed her omelette. One of the best she's had. I the poke wrap appetizer, which was perfect for me. We were able to hear each other talk, which for 10 people as miraculous. There was energy in the air and beautiful paintings on the wall. So the atmosphere was good. And as an added bonus afterwards, you could walk around and enjoy the shops as well as a local art fair. I drove up from San Diego and have to say it was worth the drive.
Super picky when I go out to eat but came with 6 others and we were all pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed eveything I tasted and so did the others, I did think the calamari was not my favorite starter but that's because I have been spoiled with super juicy and tender calamari. The spicy tuna crispy rice dish was my favorite, I came in for the steak salad but then got more tuna with the poke bowl. It was all great and I got a side of spicy mayo and eel sauce. Our server Sergio was amazing very kind, personable and great service! Definitely recommend :) Ambiance was nice too and food came out quickly.
Great vibe here! Super spacious interior and plenty of outside seating so you can people watch at the hangar. I love sitting at the bar and taking advantage of their happy hour, some good deals on drinks and apps. The service at the bar is solid too, they make sure to tend to you frequently. Their spicy tuna stack is bomb!! Highly recommend you try this app when you go: perfect texture, generous portion, and it's actually SPICY! The picanha was tender and cooked very well, even better when topped with the chimichurri. My friend ordered the Thai curry seabass which was also delicious and very flavorful. Lastly, the tiramisu is BOMB and the perfect thing to satisfy your sweet tooth before you go! Really dig the food here and plan to come back to try more of the menu in the future!!
The 908 is one of the full service restaurants at the Long Beach Exchange near the Long Beach Airport serving typical American fare, from burgers and sandwiches to main entrees of fish, pasta and beef with a full bar and lively atmosphere. They also have a seasonal menu which I took full advantage to order their chicken pot pie. Their take on a chicken pot pie was absolutely well presented and delicious. It was chocked full of tender chicken and mixed vegetable in a rich creamy gravy with the flakey puff pastry gave it that contrasting texture that is warm and comforting. Service was very good. The 908 is great for groups as depending upon the size, you can sit in a large open table or an oversized booth. They also offer outdoor seating. They do have oversized TV's in the open bar area to watch sporting events. Parking is plentiful and easy as part of the Long Beach Exchange. The 908 is definitely a great place to meet friends and hang out over good food and cocktails in the Long Beach area.
The service from Thu was excellent. There weren't pickles in the Knife and Fork Burger, which was a little disappointing. The Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich was good and could've benefitted from Arugula or some sort of dense green. I liked the mashed potatoes and an aioli would've complemented the sandwich better. The Ube Painkiller was unique and worth ordering.

Such a low key, but DELICIOUS, brunch option! I was just in the area taking a spin class and was hungry after. The 908's presence is subtle, just outside of the Long Beach Hangar, but so casually sophisticated. The indoor seating is quiet with a bar, and the outdoor seating overlooks the crowded LBX. I ordered the kids menu cinnamon swirl pancakes (the perfect fluff mixed with glazed cinnamon that adds a great chewy, crunchy texture), scrambled eggs and bacon. I also got the Peruvian French press coffee which was rich in flavor and not too strong. I was stuffed by the end and a great post-workout meal! read more
We had another nice meal at The 908, and once again it delivered on all fronts. First off, where do they find these great servers? Al F. was another shining example of how it's done. Friendly, attentive without hovering, and completely dialed in on the menu. His appetizer recommendations were spot on, and he made sure our table never missed a beat all evening. I've always enjoyed the ambiance here. The space has a cool, modern industrial feel with high vaulted ceilings that make it feel open and energetic without being loud. The walls feature bold contemporary artwork that gives the dining room personality and keeps your eyes moving while you settle into the experience. We kept our thirst quenched with the Modern Times Hazy IPA at $8 during happy hour (normally $10), which is always a solid choice, juicy, smooth, and refreshing. My wife enjoyed the Strawberry Blonde at $7, another easy-drinking option that paired well with the appetizers. Speaking of starters, the spicy tuna stack is an easy 'A' grade -- layered sushi-grade tuna, avocado, crispy wontons, and a light soy-based drizzle that hits just the right balance of texture and flavor. The spinach & artichoke dip also earns an 'A' with its creamy blend of cheeses and perfectly toasted bread. The goat cheese stuffed artichoke flowers were good but needed more punch, a solid 'B' for me. For entrées, go with the Rosemary Brined Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Crispy outside, juicy inside, and perfectly seasoned, a true 'A'. The short rib entrée, slow-braised and tender with rich savory depth, lands at an 'A' also. First time at the The 908! We came for lunch on a Friday afternoon, a birthday lunch! The decor inside is very inviting, comfortable booths and nice Edison hanging lighting! There is a nice outdoor patio as well, but we chose to eat inside. Food and service was excellent. Nice selection of items including appetizers, burgers/sandwiches, and full entrees all available for lunch. I ordered the burger with a side Arugula Salad, delicious, and I was full! My friend ordered the Pork Chop which came with Brussel Sprouts. Pork Chop was tender and delicious (she shared bites with me). Brussel Sprouts are flash fried and very good. I was so surprised, they brought me out a nice dessert for my birthday! Very nice treat! Chocolate cake with ice cream and of course a candle. They also offer a Happy Hour M-F 3-6pm and Brunch on the Weekends. Overall, excellent experience and definitely plan to return soon! read more
Friendly service - first time here. Sat outside on the patio since it was such a nice night. There are portable heaters too, if needed. Bar available inside along with booth seating. They have Happy Hour during the week with $4 off appetizers. Nice variety. We had the Mahi Mahi tacos (9/10) which were flavorful and came with a side of classic fries. You can substitute for an additional charge. We also shared the spinach artichoke dip (9/10) that came with some thick, crunchy chips that were lightly salted. Overall, a nice vibe. read more

This is my 3rd time here. Came here yesterday during lunch with my husband. Place wasn't packed so we got seated right away & sat indoor. Ambiance had an open space with plenty of seatings indoor & out door patio. There's also bar top area with TVs. Our server was friendly & great! She was kind to let me sample couple of wines to try before I decided which one to order. I went for the bubbly & hubby had a Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary was legit. As for our meal, Hubby ordered a prime rib dip & I had the Seared Ahi salad. The prime rib was juicy & tender but the bread could've been more soft in my opinion. The Ahi alone on the salad tasted a bit bland but mixed with the salad tasted better. The salad itself was refreshing & nice with all the different ingredients tossed in together. The pricing here is a bit steep but I give it 4 stars for the quality ingredients & good service. read more
The 908 is always a good time at LBX! Love their happy hour and their bartenders/staff are always so attentive and nice. Their cocktails are always well-balanced and presented well even though I can never remember the name of the drinks. Their calamari is crispy without it being too breaded and heavy, the mussels have a nice finish to them, and the spicy tuna stack is very flavorful and meaty. French onion soup was good but I thought there was some room for improvement of making cheese a bit more abundant and baked. Ambiance inside is modern and lively. On a nice day, their patio is a great option as well. read more

Second time here and really enjoyed it this time around. Either I was really hungry post work out or food hit the spot. Fried calamari appetizer was delicious. My lobster roll could've used more seasoning and flavor, fries were good. Liked the fish dish (forget which one it was). Others seem to enjoy their food as well? Pistachio tiramisu needs work though. The 908 is a solid restaurant at LBX. It's the perfect restaurant with American style food and something for everyone in your group. This visit I chose the Knife and Fork Burger which was delicious. I loved the bit of sweetness from the Apple caramelized onions and balsamic drizzle. They have a decent happy hour that includes discounts like $4 off of appetizers, $4 off of non-seasonal cocktails, and $2 off of draft wine. Service was great - friendly and attentive! Came in for lunch yesterday I have one cheat meal per week and I'm happy we chose the 908 Service was friendly and we got sat quickly. My dishes (pictured) were absolutely amazing in flavor ! My friend ordered the short ribs which were a bit chalky and tasted just like a pot roast we needed more flavor. I wish our server would've checked on us after 2 bites or 2 min to see that we didn't really like it and she also forgot a box for my friend which we went up to get. Will come back for more dishes to try! Price point is a bit high as well definitely a treat type of day for us. read more

Came for Mother's Day brunch and the service was great even for how packed it was! We ordered the chilaquiles and they were the best and I highly recommend getting the flat iron steak with it as well. It melted right in my mouth with each bite and was so flavorful. read more
The 908 is located on the west side of the Long Beach Exchange. Parking is always difficult here, even around 4pm on a weekday when we arrived. After driving around the lot for a few minutes, we managed to catch somebody leaving. If you don't find a nearby spot quickly, just take any spot you can find and walk over. When you first enter, there is a good sized bar with seating on two sides. The main dining area has tables and booths, and they have patio seating outside as well. Their drink menu has a good selection of cocktails, wine, and beer. Their food menu has a good selection of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, meat, and seafood as well as seasonal items. They have a happy hour on weekdays from 3pm to 6pm as well as a weekend brunch. They also have free wi-fi. We sat in a booth in the back and had a good view of the whole restaurant. We started out with the goat cheese stuffed artichoke flowers which were excellent. They were slightly roasted which gave them a nice little crisp. The goat cheese was perfect, not overly tangy. The red pepper puree and parsely oil were great for dipping. It was also a great looking dish visually. For my entrée, I had the house butchered ribeye steak with grilled asparagus and broccolini. It was a generous cut of meat, was cooked perfectly medium rare, and had a great grilled flavor. I used every last bit of the garlic button on top which made it even better. The veggies were fresh and crisp, and tasted great. She had the panko crusted mahi mahi fish tacos with sweet potato fries. She really liked the tacos and the salsa so was good, she asked for a second serving of it. The sweet potato fries were good and not soggy at all. Our server Matt was very friendly and took great care of us. Good menu, good food, and good service. We will definitely be back when in the area. read more

Cute spot for dinner with the girls to celebrate a birthday. The drinks were delish - we tried a variety of cocktails and wine. The artichoke blossoms were so good - probably my favorite app. The Brussels sprouts were ok - I wish it had more flavor with bacon. Garlic fries were skinny and delish - generous with the garlic yum. Beet salad was simple but refreshing with the arugula. Bolognese with burrata was also a favorite with parpadelle. Anything with burrata gets points with me. The ribeye was my least favorite - maybe because we had it cooked to medium which was pretty red on the inside. I'm sure regular steak lovers would enjoy it more. Creme brûlée had a thick sugar crack which was perfectly paired with the creamy base - yum. Chocolate cake was good with a hint of raspberry. Overall the atmosphere is chill and service was great. read more
Prime rib sandwich was better than expected. I liked the thin strips of prime rib. The bread was really soft too so everything worked well. I didn't put the horseradish on mine and I think that was the right move. The broccolini was average, nothing special but helped to get my veggies in. Fries were plentiful so you definitely get your moneys worth there. I really enjoyed the brussell sprouts. I don't love cheese so avoided all the cheesy ones but overall it was good. The queso dip was good! Fried calamari was also good! It was a really big dish. And fried well (good texture). Decent place!!! Ambience is fun (modern American) with a big bar in the middle and lots of big TVs for watching sports. I think their portion size was really good. read more

I've been here multiple times and completely forgot to write a review. I've came here a few times and usually sit outside on the patio during the spring and summer months because it's dog friendly (anywhere dog friendly is great in my book). Today was the first time bringing another bff of mine It's close to a bunch of other restaurants, so there's tons of parking. BUT, it does fill up fast As soon as we walked in we were greeted. I always make a reservation because I am the planning queen lol. We were immediately sat down (making reservations are a breeze for this place and it can get busy on the weekend. So I highly recommend) The drinks here are delicious! Our first round we ordered Amalfi coast And - so much drama And then for our second round Their version of an espresso martini And- Aloe mitos Bay (The Amalfi coast and aloe mitos bay were both extremely refreshing. They tasted like spa water) and then the so much drama and espresso martini were both really sweet We put in some light food to begin with. We ordered the garlic fries and the spinach artichoke dip. They have a pretty solid menu that will satisfy the pickiest people. And, not going to lie, The desserts here are amazing! We ordered the cobbler. Our server asked if we wanted ice cream on top or on the side? he was really thoughtful when asking if we needed anything. For our dinner we ordered the 908 burger and the special which was a delicious bolognese pasta with burrata (I wish it came with bread) which we both shared. Our server, Caleb asked if we wanted the burger cut in half for us since we were sharing. (Their ranch with the fries are a match made in heaven) It was really busy and yet our server, Caleb took great care of us. All the staff here have been extremely helpful with making suggestions (which is something I always look for. I love when servers are really knowledgeable about the menu) they also bring out a big thing of water for the table. So our drinks are always filled. I love when restaurants do this The ambiance is really nice, I love the ceilings and the large bar area. To be honest, prices are going up everywhere. And for all the food and drinks we ordered I thought it was extremely reasonable. Especially for the quality of food They also have a happy hour menu that I'll definitely be back for and I keep forgetting to come to their brunch! I had such an amazing experience at this restaurant from start to finish. Let's talk about the food--because wow. To start it all off, we had the fried calamari (see picture), and it set the tone for the entire meal. Fried perfectly--not overly breaded, which I love--and seasoned so well. Light, crispy, and not very greasy at all. The Thai curry seabass was absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, the fish was tender and packed with flavor. And that Thai curry sauce? Bomb. Rich, vibrant, and beautifully balanced--it tied the whole dish together flawlessly. The seasonal lamb chops, flown in from New Zealand, were just as impressive. You could really taste the quality. They were juicy, full of bold flavor, and cooked exactly right. Every bite was savory and satisfying. On top of the amazing food, the service was great--attentive, friendly, and made the entire dining experience even better. Overall, everything was top-tier. Flavor, quality, execution--on point across the board. I will definitely be spinning the block. Highly recommend! read more
I'm glad I gave this place another try. It was my friend's birthday so I wanted to take her to a nice place that has seating outside and has plenty of parking. Well parking was certainly busy but got a good spot, we sat outside, had a delicious meal and she loved it! Our server Hana was amazing, she gave great suggestions based on my picky needs, appreciated her take. Started off with a coffee and I wanted alil something with it, Hana, convinced me to try the ube basque cake and it didn't disappoint! I could totally have the lobster enchiladas again, potatoes were delicious and the eggs were cooked to my liking. My birthday gal had a burger, although she was having a hard time taking a bite, she figured it out and enjoyed it. Will definitely be back. I stopped in for dinner recently to have dinner with my grandparents, husband and daughter! Our server was friendly and attentive. The vibe in the restaurant was fun and nicely decorated. The ribeye was delicious, it came with garlic fries and asparagus. The fries were good but warning they definitely are very garlicky! My daughter got the kids noodles & meatball. My husband got the spicy fried chicken sandwich and he was a big fan of it. My grandmother had the short rib and loved it and my grandfather had the Granny Smith apple salad and added grilled shrimp. We all loved our food choices and would definitely be back again. read more

I go here A LOT. This time I brought my dogs and one is biggg - 140lbs. 908 was great!!! We sat on patio and requested a table with extra room for dog - no problem. The server was fabulous and brought us bowls of water for dogs - it was a warm Saturday evening. I had one of my usuals Prime Rib dip with garlic fries and as usual - soo good. I also like that they offer still or sparkling water at table and leave a carafe. Highly recommend 908 to all my friends. read more

The food was really good. We ordered Salmon Sandwich which fries, Buttermilk Fried Chicken with fries, and Burger with fries. They gave my Mom a piece of Raspberry Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice cream. Everything was good and the customer service and ambience was excellent. I would definitely go back. read more

A contemporary New American restaurant with large booths along the walls, polished concrete floors, pop art on the walls, and tiny disco balls. The service is friendly and prompt. While there wasn't a long wait for 1PM on a Sunday, reservations are strongly encouraged on the weekends. The menu has a great selection of craft cocktails, an array of bottled wine and beer on tap. There's also a few specially brunch inspired cocktails on the weekends. We particularly liked the Cold Brew Martini and the Strawberry Rhubarb Margarita. We started the meal with their savory poutine (not pictured) that we quickly gobbled up. I ordered the seasonal Lamb Burger that had a lovely tzatziki and upgraded my side to the garlic fries, which was the perfect pairing. My husband had the Shrimp & Grits that was absolutely delicious - plump shrimp and crisp smokey bacon. Our friends enjoyed their Knife & Fork Burger that was well balanced with the arugula salad and balsamic reduced drizzle as well as a the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The 908 is an old fave down in Long Beach at thr Long Beach Exchange - LBX. Met up there with an old friend for lunch recently, and it did not disappoint. The poke bowl was light and refreshing, and sitting on the patio, the weather was perfect. Great also for after work drinks. I actually have never been for dinner, as I usually go for lunch and sit on the patio! Whatever your choice is, enjoy! read more
First time coming to this place and didn't realized that there's a lot of establishments in this area! Haha! Anyway, this was recommended by a friend and went here to meet up. Nice place to have decent conversations or group celebrations. Servers were very attentive and checked on us often. Food was served right away and what I had was really filling! this is a great spot for a chill dinner or lunch. they have outdoor seating and plenty of parking. this plaza had quite a good spots in the food court you can try out as well. ordered some brussel sprouts, calamari and artichoke dip for apps. these were also good to share with a party of 6. crispy brussel sprouts and the calamari seasoned nicely. ordered the seasonal peach and shrimp salad as my entree. this was really good. everything seasoned well. was pleasantly surprised. filling and great meal. would come back to try other things. read more
Been to this place twice and both were great visits. The restaurant has a nice and welcoming, modern decor. The service was excellent. We got a couple of drinks, both were great! There are many tasty looking items on food the menu. We went with the Thai Curry Seabass and pork chop. Both tasted delicious. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and sauces. Had dinner here on a Saturday night, and it was worth a try! This place is in the plaza of LBX Hanger so it's good location to be in. Drinks were honestly really good! Michilada and their old fashioned choices were solid. As for the food, I actually enjoyed the poutine and shrimp ceviche but the spicy chicken sandwich was meh. The chicken was just doused with buffalo sauce and had mashed potatoes in the sandwich, kinda odd. New american I guess? Haha. As for the service, it wasn't that great hence the three stars. Our food took awhile to come out, and our server wasn't too attentive to be completely honest. It would have easily been 4 stars if the service was better. It's a cool and hip place to eat in, can't go wrong with the drinks! It's worth a try and I'd come back again only if I'm invited and someone else wants to try it. read more
One of the only places with bone marrow in the area- only $28. Comes with a relish and toast and delicious! Prime rib sandwich dip was also a favorite. The first cocktail on the menu was sweet and great. Make a reservation or free seating at the bar. Busy area at the Hangar, night market on Fridays. Sports playing on the TVs. We do not have live music at our restaurant however the LBX Hangar does sometimes have live music outside that can be heard from our patio.
Do you have good Vegan options aside from a salad or vegetable bowl?
We offer a vegetarian / vegan Sunburst Tomato Pasta. We are a plant based protein substitution for all of our burgers and sandwiches. We can also modify many of our salad offerings to fit dietary preferences and restrictions.

Best place to park at least for me, is by orangetheory on the worsham Ave. It's always been convenient for me and 908 is right there.
