Delicious baked goods, there's something for everyone Got a mini spinach roll, potato stick and canoli. Spinach roll was alright, but very nice warm. Potato stick was my favorite of the three. Very filling and great difference of textures, crunchy flakey outside and soft gooey potato filling inside. Canoli was a bit too heavy for me. Very dense cream and nice soft crunchy texture for the casing Service was quick I didn't eat in but there are some tables available in the back

I must remember this place when I am back in Midtown, Very nice sandwich shop and bakery offering quick bites, sandwiches, and pastries. It seems like there is a Greek-inspired bakery, as I heard a lot of Greek behind the counter. You can also find fresh fruit, smoothies, and cold drinks on hand should you need a cold refresher. All in all, worth a second look.

Greek sandwich was ok. Bread was soggy. But it was bigger than expected. The spinach mini pastry wasn't that good. The pastry wasn't flaky was too thick.

Second visit today. We were introduced to this marvelous place by friends about 2 months ago. With one of them, I went back for lunch today. She had a generous portion of Greek salad and a perfect croissant. I had a spanakopita as good as any I had when I visited Greece years ago. I also had a cappuccino; they have a sizable menu of coffee drinks hot and iced. There are sandwiches and pastries galore, plus soups. And there are trays of smaller traditional Greek sweets too. I brought home one kaitef (probably spelled that incorrectly) and one cookie which I can't name, for my husband and me to share. My friend and I chose to eat in the cafe; they have some tables and chairs in the back, so you order and pay at the counter and take your tray to the table. Everything is fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is very pleasant and so are the people serving. Don't expect speed; this, like a European cafe, is a place to relax, enjoying the delicious food.

Walked into the unassuming little place, narrow front shop that extends back to a slightly wider setting with seating options in the back. As I walked in, I could see the long display cases of Greek goodies whether it be sweet or savory. They had it all! I had stopped by around late noon looking for something to snack on and noticed that they had their version of chicken pot pie! I decided to give that a go along with a few mini napoleons and a Greek dessert with flaky phyllo pastry and overload of custard inside! Starting with the chicken pot pie pastry, it was super flaky and crispy. The filling had loads of veggies and chicken shreds. Super filling and definitely a lot more than just a snack. I was pleasantly surprised, but nothing about it was super special and worth noting. Next was the Greek custard pastry, it was HUGE! The filling was more like mashed up custard flan versus smooth and creamy custard cream. Took me by surprise. But because the filling to pastry ratio was too big of a difference, it was too much and it was not really enjoyable after 2 bites. Lastly the napoleons were slightly disappointing because the powdered sugar tasted off. It was very chalky and the pastry tasted very different from the other 2 pastry skin I've had so far... not sure if the pastry chef was having an off day... but the napoleon was slightly disappointing. Otherwise, if I was looking for a quick nice filling lunch- I'd come back to get their chicken pot pie pastry or their spinach pie pastry.

Lunch was delicious. I'll definitely return for this Spinach Pie! 09/09/25

The Bakery Room Last Thursday I noticed The Bakery Room searching for a new place to eat after the doctor. I ended up going to Gregory's Coffee to eat. Today I had to return to the doctor office so I was here in the neighborhood in time for my lunch. After one more Yelp search I realized The Bakery Room menu was the most appetizing. I wasn't exactly greeted when I arrived but they knew I was excited to be there. I took a bunch of photos and then I returned to place my order. I knew I would stay when I saw the Spinach Pie and the seating in the back. I'm so happy I got the Spinach Pie as I was really pleased from the first bite! It was so delicious moist with flaky goodness! They served it on a tray because I said I was staying to eat and it was heated perfectly. The cashier and the man that heated my food were so nice. He appeared to be the chef and he was training the cashier. The place is clean and a man came to clean tables and took away my tray when I was done eating. It's a laid back relaxing environment. The music is soft rock pop. Customers came and went. As I was leaving I noticed two tables in the backyard. It's a well organized set up with coffee sales in front and food orders at the cash register. I'm sure I'd become more familiar with the drill after I return a few times. Definitely prices are reasonable to me and the items are clearly labeled. I'm definitely giving The Bakery Room Five Stars.

My friend and Super Elite Yelper Marianne W. told me about this place, so I had to go. They not only bake on the premises, their desserts are delicious, but they have not only one flavor of Baklava, but four flavors. Pistachio, Walnut, Coconut, and Chocolet, They had Tiramisu and Sainika Bagels. mini Pistachio kataifi too. and many other desserts, it will take years to try them all. The Baklava here and the kataifi were both an easy 9 out of 10. It's hard for me to find a good Baklava, I have a spot in New Jersey and an other in Brooklyn. But the Bakery Room is only a 10-minute walk from the job. iIt will be easy to

Amazing lunch and dessert options, and very quick service! They'll heat your food for you regardless of if you dine in or out. The prices are very reasonable too. They have decent amount of seating, so it's nice for quick coffee or catch-ups.

Amazing coffee house near Madison Avenue exclusively catering to patrons of discerning tastes for the best coffee and cheesecake served quickly and on the paper plate and paper cups and plastic forks! The in-house bakery makes great pastries and baked items that are reasonably priced. You can find almost anything you want to get you pumped for afternoon pickmeup and romantic get together with your loved one. Good place for desert date.

Stopped in on a whim after being enticed by an array of desserts while I was walking by. Ordered a Caprese sandwich -- nice amount of ingredients. Could have used a balsamic glaze + could have been less oily. Price wasn't terrrrible but not sure it's worth $11, especially as it was fairly small, but everything did taste fresh! They offer soo many different breads, desserts, sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. Great one-stop-shop for sure, and very close to the Lexington Ave/53rd St station.

The food was delicious and fresh. The tables were spread out nicely and it was relaxing. The service was pleasant.

This place is so cute! It doesn't seem like a large space from the sidewalk, but it goes back into a decent sized seating area. The service is really friendly and efficient. We tried the pistachio cheesecake which was phenomenal! I also got a mango iced tea, which was on the sweeter side but good. Would definitely go back.

We…read moreordered the mussels, moussaka, and whole grilled tsipura (sea bream), and every dish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of traditional Mediterranean flavor. The mussels were tender and served in a delicious, flavorful broth. The moussaka was rich, creamy, and clearly homemade. The grilled tsipura was incredibly fresh, cooked perfectly, and simply seasoned to let the quality of the fish shine. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the overall experience felt genuine and relaxing. If you're looking for authentic Greek cuisine made with care, this place is definitely worth visiting. We'll definitely be back!

Busy for Monday evening. Felt like I stepped into Greece…read more I started with the complimentary bread, it was good. The crust was a little hard but I liked the fresh spread, I would recommend adding some olive oil, salt and pepper for more flavor. I got the traditional Greek salad. The salad was good. I love the tomatoes they tasted fresh. Though found myself wanting to add more salt and pepper for more flavor to pop. The dressing was good for dipping the bread in too. The octopus was delicious. Very fresh. Good portion. It was seared perfectly. I love how it was cut for me too, nice and tender. Not too chewy. The dill and capers were a nice touch. Seems the staff remember familiar faces, very friendly and all Greek. Altogether it was $64 which I find very pricey. The octopus was priced at $31 which wasn't bad. But the salad being $28 seems extreme. Overall a nice experience. Bit of a wait for the food
