Went here with my daughter and family. It is a cute place in Downtown Bristol. They have a small dining room on the second level and outdoor seating when it is warm enough. All the food was really yummy. Our party had a burrito bowl, French toast, avocado toast, a breakfast plate with eggs, toast and hash browns and the tofu bowl. The small upstairs was packed so we got it to go. We all enjoyed it. Why four stars and not five? While the prices aren't crazy, the sizes for some of the portions weren't that big. (So, the price to dish size ratio is off IMO.) My wife and I both were hungry after our tofu bowls (about 3 oz of tofu, crispy chick peas, cherry tomatoes and red pepper). Great spot for brunch in Bristol! Everything tastes fresh. Got the all-American breakfast and breakfast burrito. Loved the fresh salsa in the burrito. They have a good selection of different tea flavors. Only negative is they have limited space upstairs (approx 8 tables) but waiting time is usually only 5-10 mins. read more

Found this adorable cafe on Google maps when we made a day trip to Bristol. It was just delightful. The menu was creative and seasonal, although we only stopped for lattes. One glance in the pastry case changed our mind, and we ordered 2 Nutella swirl cookies as well. They pastry was well executed and fresh, the lattes were smooth and tasty. Would definitely stop back here if we ever found ourselves in this area, I'd love to try the ricotta pancakes or cornbread hash. read more

Over the course of 48 hours I came here three times for beverages and treats and once for lunch. All my friends ordered the BLT and we all loved it. The chickpea side dish is wonderful. I can't recommend the unsweetened blueberry iced tea enough. Its perfect for a hot day! read more

Visited Bristol from Virginia this weekend, our group came here twice. Why? Immaculate vibes, friendly & professional service, excellent food & drinks. 2 of us are vegetarian, and the menu was an unexpected surprise. I tried a maple latte, which was not-too-sweet fall perfection, then a candy apple (a cider drink) which is too-sweet but perfect. (I love a sweet bev!) Egg sandwich + hash browns was my fave item to eat. It was much busier on Sunday vs Monday, we easily found a table today & enjoyed the assortment of hot sauces. Let me start by saying I had pretty good experiences previously but this recent one will be our last visit. During the week I went with my fiancé and family. The young man working the counter was rude in his answers and rolled his eyes when I asked about an ingredient due to an allergy. Upon receiving our food, my yogurt and fruit bowl came out in a piping hot ceramic dish to the point it was already curdling. I am pregnant. I didn't notice before eating a few bites already and I felt unwell soon after doing so. When brought up to staff by my family, the manager supposedly refunded the card but nothing ever came. Please teach your staff food safety as that shouldn't have ever left your kitchen that way. read more

I know it's horrible to hear, but I'm not a fan of breakfast in general. I hear all the time "it's the most important meal of the dayyyy" to which I answer like the adult I am with sticking my tongue out and blowing them a raspberry. When I find a breakfast place that I actually like, it's a pretty big deal indeed, so when we found beehive, it was pretty great. We found beehive on a sunny sunday morning, and the place was busy but not packed. We stood in line, placed our order, and took a seat in the outdoor dining area on the patio. The menu is impressive for multiple reasons. Firstly, I was shocked and delighted with their beverage options including matcha, turmeric, oat milk, and lots of gourmet smoothies. Second, their vegetarian and vegan options are super delicious, definitely not an afterthought like many other restaurants. Thirdly, they take risks with the menu and it's not boring We ordered a morning glory muffin to see how it stacks up to others we've had in the area and it was good. The beverages we ordered were also good, my matcha oat milk latte was delicious but really lumpy and needed more attention than it was given. His iced coffee was delicious to the point he went back and ordered a second. For the main courses, he opted for a choice off the specials menu, a stack of the gigantic cinnamon roll pancakes, which were delicious with crispy frosting bits, and packed with flavor. I ordered the butternut squash breakfast sando with spiced chickpeas instead of potatoes. My sandwich was on homemade bread which was a nice touch, but I did ask to add mushrooms and there was only one mushroom on the entire sandwich. Overall, the beehive is second to none in this area for plant based and vegetarian/vegan selections while being delicious and nutricious. That doesn't stop them from having braised pork belly or cinnamon roll pancakes for more traditional breakfast lovers too. The prices are good, service is fast, and there's convenient parking at the park on the corner. I will absolutely be back and can't wait to try other things on their menu! read more

After all, who wouldn't enjoy an unseasoned fried egg served bone-dry on a roll with a smattering of bland arugula and a slice of unripened tomato. I'm told this masterpiece cost $12.00, too. Amazing breakfast in Bristol! I was out here for a wedding and decided to stop in for breakfast. When you walk in, you order ahead at the counter and then they bring the food to you wherever you sit. They give you a little dinosaur or animal toy as the "number" for them to find you, which I thought was adorable. We ended up sitting down upstairs because it was a bit brisk. There's a good amount of seating upstairs or on their little patio, but it's still a small restaurant. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and buttermilk pancakes to split. Both of these were phenomenal - super fresh and delicious. We also ordered a cinnamon roll as another small treat. This might have been the best cinnamon roll I've ever had. It was crispy on the outside but soft and gooey in the middle - so good! Highly recommend this breakfast place next time you're in Bristol. We went to Bee Hive on a Sunday afternoon (January 14). For three of us, it was $54.22. We had one breakfast burrito bowl, one maple bacon pancake, one sausage and cheese English muffin sandwich, a hot chocolate and two coffees. The burrito bowl and pancake were both very delicious. The hot chocolate was watery tasting. The English muffin was some kind of hard, cold biscuit thing. We were not told they didn't have a regular English muffin. Furthermore, they have an egg sandwich on the menu with a side for $10. Our 13 year old wanted just sausage and cheese, no egg. They charged $17 for just the sandwich, with no side. The man ringing us out tried to ring up the sandwich so we wouldn't be charged $17 and another woman came over and said, "too bad, that's what it is." I have no problem paying for good food, but the sandwich was terrible and they charged as if we were adding sausage to the egg sandwich and then didn't offer a side with it. I also, didn't appreciate the attitude of the person to just say, "too bad" as if paying $17 for a breakfast sandwich was completely normal. We also didn't see anyone wipe down any of the tables while we were there for about 45 minutes but several groups of people cycled through. The place is very cute, but would like to see tables without crumbs on them. Update: thank you Sherry for looking up the order and clarifying. I've sent you my email to forward me the receipt. And thank you for the apology on behalf of your staff member and unclean tables. I stand by my review that the English muffin was cardboard and the hot chocolate was watery. I can appreciate things being made from scratch, that usually means they will taste better than what we received. Also, the breakdown of the sandwich cost could have been communicated at checkout so that we could've made a different decision about the sandwich. read more

Great scenic location (seating is upstairs and overlooks water). The counter service was quick and very polite. I plan on coming back again with my family! Returned for lunch and knocked two star off. Much better breakfast than lunch. AVOID the grilled chicken at all cost. They clearly have a microwave in back. Chicken was beyond rubberish. I'll be generous and go with four stars because my egg nog latte to go was truly excellent. However, I did not appreciate the service here at all. I walked in and was not greeted; the person working the counter ignored me when I entered (even though there were no other customers there) then carried on a conversation with another employee. After standing around for a bit, I was finally asked for my order. Great latte and cute ambience but the attitude and service of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. I also didn't appreciate that the staff person was wearing a neck gaiter as a face mask as these have been shown to be less effective the standard masks for reducing the risk of COVID. The best thing about this place is you can take your coffee to go and enjoy a latte by the ocean in the park just down the street. We found this cafe after the original diner we were planning to go to was randomly closed. I was sold immediately just from the pictures of the food. I was a little surprised when we went in because it didn't look much like a restaurant - more like a coffee and a quick muffin place. But the menus are set aside, you order and then sit upstairs. Your breakfast is brought right to your table. My husband got the pulled pork eggs Benedict and I got the beehive biscuits, which was a rosemary biscuit with tomato, poached egg, 4-cheese sauce, and spinach. I also opted to get bacon on mine. Everything was delicious, the service was super quick, and everyone was really nice and hospitable. My only disappointment with this place was that it was expensive. Two breakfast dishes and two coffees came to $30. Not terrible - but more than I expected. However, the cost won't deter me from coming back. I didn't give it 5 stars because I was confused on what to do when I walked in, so I just stood in the Order line and then was told that we needed to order. We were given a metal rhino to pick a table and that the waitress would find us when our food was ready. I don't know if it's possible to fall in love with a piece of cake but that happened to me here! We stopped in to have a nice mocha latte and I was seduced by their sample of handmade granola bars (delicious)so I purchased one to go and a piece of lemon cake with blueberries that sounded lovely. It was definitely love at first bite though! It was the most deliciously moist cake I've ever had and I'm sad to think I live three and a half hours away and won't be able to just stop by any time! We didn't really have any idea of how their system works, (somewhat reminded me of a Panera bread) where you order at the front and get your food delivered.
