I'm convinced that anyone giving The Blazin' Craw five stars has never had truly good Cajun seafood. I am okay people giving this place 3 stars and that's being generous, but based on my experience, I want to give a ZERO star. My wife and I ordered Combo #2 with king crab, shrimp, and crawfish. The king crab was an extra $25, which I was fine with, until it arrived overcooked to death. Same story with the shrimp and crawfish. On top of that, there was barely any Cajun sauce, which made already dry seafood even worse. When you're paying this much, rubbery seafood is unacceptable. The sauce was another disappointment. Cajun seafood lives and dies by its sauce, and this one was mediocre at best. They were bland, forgettable, and lacking depth. Nothing bold, nothing crave-worthy. Sides somehow managed to be worse: Garlic bread was so overcooked it was basically a seasoned crouton. Rice tasted like it was 2-3 days old--dry, hard, and unpleasant. I've worked in kitchens before, and I know day-old rice is normal, but this was far past acceptable. Service didn't help the situation at all. Not once did anyone come by to check on us or see if we needed anything. No refills, no follow-up, nothing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And then there's the restroom, which honestly sealed the deal. Disgusting. No soap, filthy conditions, and graffiti everywhere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I literally had to rinse my hands with water and hope for the best. If this is how they treat the restroom, it makes you seriously question what's happening in the kitchen. (I personally did not see the health grade posted, but many other Yelpers mention that this restaurant has a B grade and based on what I experienced--especially the restroom--that wouldn't surprise me). Bottom line: overcooked seafood, bland sauce, stale sides, nonexistent service, and unsanitary restroom.

I placed an order at 9:12 pm. I got a notification saying my order is ready. Guess what it is 9:56 and I keep getting the runaround. Not ready. The person at the entrance doesn't care, clearly just says wait we are too busy. At the end, they gave me the wrong order. I want a refund. this place is a joke.

Super delicious food. I really wanted to go to a seafood boil on my birthday and it didn't disappoint. It's a pretty busy place. Once you get there you can get yourself on the waitlist. It goes by pretty fast, we were like number 22 as a party of 4. We just went next door to have some drinks. We got our text that we were next and everything was great from there. Fast service and food came out quickly. I'm iffy about seafood boils cause I don't like boils that are sweet. The flavor of the seafood boil here reminds me of the boiling crab but more saucier with butter. Only downfall of this place there is only two bathrooms. One per each sex. It can be bit of a wait and to even just wash your hands. They need a hand washing station if anything. Other than that, easy 4/5.

The parking SUCKS!!! Placed an order an hour and a half early! Today is my birthday and I was craving some seafood boil. So my son and I went in to pick up our order and the girl cutting butcher paper was rude and not very friendly! She said our order wasn't ready because they didn't have crawfish and if I wanted to substitute it for anything else (NO!). No one at this place called me when it clearly gives you the option to "CALL ME" if something isn't available. No one called. Now we had to wait another 10minutes for them to put it together. Mind you, we got there early and still had to wait! I will never come here again. Spent $120 for our order and the girl walks out with a small bag. It obviously felt light and I knew they messed with our order! What a joke! We will NOT be returning!!!!

This was my first time trying The Blazin Claw, as well as sea food boil. I personally think it was good. I ordered the 1lb of headless shrimp with blazing sauce and no spice. The flavors were good and it was a great experience overall. The waitress was very nice and helped us out with the menu for our first time. I recommend trying this place especially with friends and family. I didn't give it a 5 because I'm not a big sea food person but for those who enjoy sea food, this place is a great place to try.

This was just what I wanted for a Friday take out! The place was full, so we ordered our food to go. Combo #2 was good for 2 adults and a kid. You can tell that their food is fresh and very well seasoned! The take out comes in a bag with a wax paper to use for your food. Loved the easy-peasy cleanup! I cant attest for the cleanliness of the place but the service I received was good and pleasant. The family says that they'd gladly order food here again Thank you!

Ordered take out. It took 30 more then originally told. Also had this nasty potato put in our sea food bag.

I came in on a Sunday and waited just about an hour to eat. I had been here before and thought it was great. Now my opinion has changed. Their food is ok, not the best with this type of food. My low stars has to do with their wait/waiting area/layout in general. We stood in their tiny corridor for an hour. Kids climbing on the pirate, then it was falling the entire time. If you want to sit while you wait, you have to go sit on the curb outside in the parking lot. Why is this? It was Sunday night football and obnoxious cowboy fans were yelling the entire time. I'm all for football and cheering but this place is far too tiny to have their bar in the same area as their restaurant. The fans were waiting for tables while drinking beer, coming back into the wait corridor to check on their wives and bad kids they left while going back to refill their beers. I'm sorry but it's not professional or inviting having guys bump into people waiting while splashing their beers on you waiting for your table. It's not a sports bar, it's a restaurant so make it feel that way! I don't want to spend $80 for 2 people to hear guys screaming at refs while their kids are screaming because they can't stand over an hour. The one "fan" I witnessed had 4 beers while he waited!! Seriously!?! The wait staff could not provide me or anyone with a time frame to let us know how much longer we had. It was a horrible experience that ultimately leaves you wanting to sit down as you fall into low blood sugar levels while waiting. But since you can't sit anywhere you just hope and pray to get seated. I won't be coming back to this place. I'll gladly make the drive to the other crab boil places elsewhere. read more

Ordered combo with Alaskan king crab shrimp and crayfish. Mushy seafood, nothing was fresh . All 3 servers were on their phones the whole time we were trying to eat. Infestation of flies made dining very annoying, and cleanliness was horrific. Couldn't use the bathroom to wash our hands because it was so filthy. Why is the floor so sticky? Yuk Waste of time and money read more

It's tasty, it's spicy, and it's messy...and not the place for a first date! But it's a fun atmosphere. We had the peeled shrimp in the crab sauce with mild spice. It was served in a plastic bag that you dig into with your hands (take the gloves and plastic bib they offer) and leave the shrimp tail shells on the table (covered in paper). So the presentation grossed me out a little, but once I got over it, it was tasty. Also had the garlic noodles. A little cold and bland, but really tasty dipped in the sauce. I wish they would serve the fish plain and present lots of dipping sauces on the side. Also, the chairs are super loud and squeaky whenever someone moves. It was enough to startle me and hope that no one else would screech their chair. It's just the combination of metal on metal that's cringe worthy. So not sure if I liked it enough to return, but it was pretty good food overall. read more

Tried to eat here yesterday everything was going good we ordered drinks and lemon pepper garlic fries which were good and we also got the combo #1 (shrimp, crawfish, and clams). Once our seafood boil came out we opened it and the smell was horrific. It was a very strong putrid smell that made us lose our appetite. My boyfriend decided to try a clam to see if it tasted the way it smelled and said it tasted like ammonia so we decided not to eat anything from it and just tell our server to take it back. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get her attention even though it was not that busy and once we explained the problem she looked annoyed, didn't apologize and just took the food away and most likely gave it to another customer. Also the restrooms were extremely filthy. Been disappointed by the Fontana location before and wanted to give Redlands a chance but it's just as bad. read more

Love love loved it here! We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service. We ordered 2 combo #1, it fed the 5 of us, and it was a perfect amount. We chose garlic butter and Blazin crab. My fave was the garlic butter. Everything was delicious! We also ordered short rib fries (reminds of of carne asada fries), garlic noodles, garlic fries, and Cajun calamari. I loved the garlic noodles, garlic fries, and Cajun calamari. Service was friendly and cool. Our food took awhile though. There's bathrooms available inside. Parking is a bit small but there's more parking on the street and there another parking lot right across of the building. read more

Love this place! Came in twice already since I found it. My servers name was Alexandra she was super patient answering our questions regarding the menu and super attentive. I ordered oysters and Cajun fries to start both of which were delicious. I ordered 1lb of shrimp head Cajun medium perfect for my liking not overly spicy but still flavorful. I also ordered a michelada which was great, perfect ratio of beer and Clamato. I enjoyed my first time here so much that I came again during the week and brought the family. I plan on continuing to come here as I've enjoyed both the food and service. read more

Amazing. A little out of the way, looks small on the outside, but spacious indoors. The surrounding area is undergoing some kind of road construction or whatnot so parking is scarce in their immediate lot but you can park across the street in the dirt or other parking lot. I would def recommend the food/ menu - any seafood is a plus as long as it's cooked right. To access the menu in the restaurant, you scan the QR code, which was a little different for me, but nice for the germaphobes. I ordered the Cajun Fried calamari and Crab fried rice. Calamari was good. The crab fried rice some shrimp and where was the crab? Didn't see or taste much crab in there. Other than that, the service was good but definitely undermanned. All in all I still give them 4stars because the food was delicious and the one waiter was patient and nice. read more

Great food and drinks. Very high energy bar like setting. Oysters were wonderful. If you're looking for a more quiet atmosphere, maybe go to another place, but if you want good food with a fun upbeat environment, this is a good spot for some drinks and seafood. read more

We always pass by this place getting off the freeway so we finally tried it. Luckily it was happy hour as we walked in we were aloud to sit anywhere. We wanted 2 piña coladas but the waiter said they were out of the mix to make it. So then we asked for margaritas instead with a sugar rim. We got calamari, bbq chicken wings, coconut shrimp, the free fries from checking in here, spring rolls, and corn. You'd think corn would be the first one out but it wasnt. The calamari, coconut shrimp and fries were decent. As far as the bbq wings it seemed like they fried them then squirted a whole bunch of bbq sauce on top of them. The spring rolls needed more side sauce to them but then lastly the corn came out. We waited a while for the corn and we didn't know why. When she brought it out she said sorry it took so long I forgot about it in the microwave... THE MICROWAVE?? Its not boiled or cooked like everything else?? We just giggled to ourselves and let it slide. Then the bill came out. If I could underline, bold, highlight, blinking lights on here I would... PLEASE CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!!!! We looked at the tab it wasn't a bad tab because of happy hour. But we looked at the tab, the waiter charged us for regular priced drinks instead of happy hour drinks. When she came back I asked her why did you charge us for regular priced margaritas rather than the happy hour margaritas? She said ohhh I think he forgot it was happy hour. But everytime else was happy hour price on the tab. But at the same time who was "he" that she spoke of when we saw her the whole time making our tab? Again, we giggled and let it slide. All in all this place wasn't what we thought it was. We definitely will be looking around for another seafood spot in the area to try. read more

Food is good and a go to for me since there aren't very many seafood boil places around. They're all around 25-45 min away from me so I'm glad I can count on this place to get my fix! The sauce is good compared to others that I've tried. & I love that they now offer hard boiled eggs also!! Haven't found another place that does yet! Only complaint is every once and a while it comes out cold. Which I don't understand how but it happens every here and there when I go! I always have to ask for it to be warmed. On a negative note...the servers usually have attitudes...there's probably only one nice girl there that never has an attitude! Every time I go they're all rude or just don't talk much and as a previous server I think communicating with your costumers is a MUST! They have horrible customer service. But the atmosphere is cool; it's a whole vibe when you're with your group. read more

I've been eating at this place for a long time. The food is always delicious BUT the service is just terrible. First if you ever try to place a phone order, good luck trying to reach them on the phone. They never answer I have tried multiple times for over 30 min at a time. When they do answer I was told they only have one line. Second I feel as if they never have their full menu. Compared to the location in Fontana which always seems to be fully stocked. Overall the food is great but things need to be changed in order to deliver an exceptional customer experience. read more

Went there with a party of 10. The food was OK. Service not so much. We got our drinks & food in a decent amount of time, but our waitress didn't check on us until we were ready to leave. Apparently they automatically charge a 15% service fee then so the tip is extra. Didn't get our ticket until afterwards so didn't know abour the service fee. The bathroom was horrible. Most likely won't return. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Came here tonight waited about 45mins for a table (wasn't bad) the hostess point out our table didn't hand us menus. We sat there for 15mins no one came to the table to greet us or give us menus. We finally went up to the hostess for a menu and waited another 30 mins before we finally gave up and left. We sat there for a whole 45 mins without being greeted by anyone. I understand they were a bit busy but a simple greeting acknowledging us would have sufficed. I watched two tables who came in after us get greeted and brought drinks. What happened tonight was completely unacceptable. read more

Hungry for seafood we looked for what we call a "Bib and Bag" restaurant. Where we put on bibs and eat fresh juicy delicious seafood on a paper covered table. We ordered the #2 combo with shrimp, mussels and lobster and we added an extra pound of king crab legs. The combo came with corn, potatoes and sausage. The spice was just right and everything was delicious. Free order of delicious fries when you check in with Yelp. read more

We got our food to go so I cannot speak to dine-in, but we were happy with the freshness and flavor of our food. We ordered the seafood by the pound and asked for king crab, scallops, mussels and shrimp, which included corn on the cob and sausage. Delish! Will definitely be back. read more

I've been coming to this location for a while...always an amazing experience. Have introduced a lot of my friends and family to this establishment. Since COVID I've have ordered takeout. Not the same of course but still loved. However this last experience was really disappointing. Halfway through eating my meal I noticed a thick rubber-band attached to my shrimp. I of course threw my food away!!! There goes $55 in the trash!!!! I of course called to let them know and how we could resolve the issue. The lady was really sweet and understanding but couldn't help me. I understand that she doesn't have the authority. However, she gave me the time her mgr goes in and I have yet to be able to reach him. I call back a few days later and the same sweet lady takes down my info so HE could call me. Still haven't heard from him. Mind you this happened 2 weeks ago. These meals aren't cheap!!! I'm beyond disappointed on how customer safety isn't a priority to this manager. Being that there is no concern that a non eatable item was COOKED in the food!!! Im sad because I really did love this place. I guess I'll just have to take it as a loss. read more

Are used to really enjoy this restaurant because they have fresh seafood and amazing vibes. However, my most recent visit was very this morning. Majority of my seafood tasted a bit off. There was parasites on my crab legs. I ordered headless shrimp and still had antennas in my bag. I spent $90 how much to be disappointed and majority of my seafood was thrown in the trash because I was too disgusted to eat it. read more

Tried this spot out yesterday and it was tasty! Two nearby lots were available for parking. We were going to eat inside, but it was insanely warm. I recommend air conditioning for comfortability, Outdoor seating wasn't an option, so we opted for takeout. Pricing was very affordable compared to the San Diego area businesses with same concept. Staff was friendly. Wait wasn't too bad if we had opted to dine in. 15 to 20 min wait for food. We ordered a #2 with snow crab, crawfish, and peel and eat shrimp garlic butter mild. We also got a pound of snow crab w/ crab blazin sauce medium (very flavorful). Cajun garlic fries were terrible though. No flavor. Just some Cajun powder tossed on them. I'm a fry lover and most crab spots have good fries, but I couldn't eat past eating two fries before throwing them away. The seafood was fresh and meaty. I anticipated it being less than due to the low cost, but it was definitely an excellent value. The fries and lack of air conditioning are what led to the loss of a star. Otherwise, I will definitely be eating here again! read more

The flavor is delicious. I ordered mild cus I thought it was going to be hot but it wasn't at all. Next time I'll order it more spicy. The atmosphere is chill and the waitresses are nice. The place is a lil small and gets very packed. read more

We went on the weekend so of course it was crowded, it was about a 1hour and 45 minute wait. I ordered two pounds of King Crab and rice to soak up the garlic butter. The total for that was $80, what came in my bag was the body of the crab and 3 legs (almost a full king crab) yes its pricy but if you're a seafood lover like me then its completely worth it. read more

His wife was not satisfied with his description of the experience, so she bought a Szechuan buzz bud for $2 and she said it was kind of like pop rocks. These buzz bud looks just like a little flower bud like the end of a dandelion once the seeds are blown away. It comes from a plant. Totally fascinating! My wife ordered the breakfast pizza--a focaccia pizza topped with marinara, ham, spinach, fresh tomato, red onion, a sunny-side-up egg, and herb-infused maple syrup. This was really delicious with the tart, fresh tomatoes, the salty ham, and the sweet maple syrup. I ended up eating the sunny-side egg by itself, so we didn't get to try the pizza with the egg. Lastly, I ordered the steak and eggs, but it was sadly a small portion. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium. The seasoning was a bit strange and would have been better with simple salt, pepper, and garlic. The mimomas really made my wife happy. She started feeling it pretty quickly. The quality of food was fresh, prepared just right, and the service was fast and welcoming. It's in the nice down town Redlands area so never too busy or loud, in the small city. Our server, Aubrey, was also AWESOME so definitly give her a raise lol. My buddies and I were wanting some steaks and drinks after work, and we were not disappointed. 100% will be back. The only thing to be weary of is if you get outdoor seating. Many folks downtown tend to smoke marijuana so sometimes the smell will make its way into the patio area.

The food was good but I asked for jus garlic, butter, and no spice and it was really spicy to the point where I couldn't even eat it but on my bill it said no spice. The service sucked I constantly had to keep getting up out of my seat just to ask for something and on top of that 5 servers were standing in the front corner chitchatting we asked some dude who came from the back to get our server and she said "why don't you go help them" when it's her job. My meal was supposed to be 39 and some change plus 2 apprizers 1 alcoholic beverage and one drink so maybe around 60 at the most and it was 80 something dollars and when asked about it they tipped themselves and gave us a service fee jus because we were paying on separate checks and when asked about it the server was completely obvious and was just rushing us to pay, then we got dirty looks for speaking up from a lady behind the bar, our waiter and her lil group of friends. Its also extra for pealed shrimp. Wow, just wow I have been pleasantly surprised tonight. This place gets 5 stars simply because before today I was anti seafood. After my pregnant friend and I devoured 2 pounds of crawfish I fell in love. I had a phenomenal waiter, ( even though I think his hair kept getting in his face) he made sure my drink was never empty and was ready to answer every question I had. It's hard to expect that kind of attention when every table in the place was filled but he managed to do it. I had a great time tonight, my friend had a great time and we will be back! read more

The Blazin' Claw was an utter disappointment. From the moment I walked in, the experience went downhill. The service was incredibly slow, with servers who seemed uninterested and inattentive. We sat and watched as others were served and it tooThe food was bland and lacked any distinct flavor, far from the "bold and spicy" dishes they advertise. The ambiance felt chaotic and uncomfortable with flies constantly swarming, making it hard to enjoy the meal. I'm writing this as I hit my 2 hour mark of waiting to get my food. This experience has been terrible. I ordered a Michelada an hour ago and haven't even been able to remind the waiter of it due to her never coming back to check on me. My stomach is growling louder than this terrible music playing in here. My 3 children received their chicken tenders as soon as the order was placed, now they are forced to watch me scarf down my long awaited meal. This has ruined our weekly family dinner and it has been so hard since their dad left. read more

Just ate here and the food was absolutely delicious! Me and my husband didn't know what to pick, so our server, ( the girl with the black hair and great eyeshadow) made several recommendations and they were all on point! We ordered a combo #3, with king crab, mussels, shrimp, and clams in blazin crab xxxnspice and crab fried rice. The house sauce had a lot of flavor and just the perfect kick and the seafood tasted fresh. Will definitely be coming back to this place again. read more

I'm not one to ever complain but these guys gave us a completely wrong order, i have been attempting to get this resolved, via phone and physically and their customer service is the worst. I have been trying to get a hold of the manager since Sunday and apparently there is no manager that comes in during the week. I was told I would get a phone call back on Monday and i am still waiting. Take care of your customers! read more

Came here on a Friday night and they were packed!!! However we got seated quickly. We ordered shrimps, clams and snow crabs. The seafood was fresh not like other seafood places that I went to. Their Blazin' Crab sauce was to die for, perfect with medium spicy. The service was excellent. Servers always made sure we got everything. Highly recommend this place!!! read more

Finally they opened one in Redlands. I ordered combo #2 with shrimps, clams and snow crab legs and the crab fried rice. The seafood was fresh. The fried rice has real crab meat and shrimps and tasted very good. Service here is on point. They also have a full bar with lots of different drinks. Shrimp was not fresh, call and told them and all they said that we did pick up our food 15 minutes late so that's how it should be!! ?? It does not make any sense at all I grew up eating seafood and I can tell right away if it's fresh or not. The shrimp here is amazing! The price goes by "market price" so it varies from time to time. About $10 usually. It gets a little messy as the shrimp is inside a bag of sauce, but absolutely worth it! The sides are a must! Especially inside the sauce! read more

The only thing I didn't care for much was their "house sauce" not sure what it was called but it's the one that has all the flavors mixed together! We got the mild spicy and the spice was great but the flavor was a little bland in MY opinion. Didn't taste much like anything! I also REALLY LIKE how they bring you a metal bowl to put your seafood in. That's a GAME CHANGER. Overall I would go back to this place no doubt and highly recommend it!
