Cozy. Upscale. Irish bar and restaurant. Great spot for a delicious brunch. Eggs Benedict with crispy Prosciutto on top. Perfect balance between rich and salty. Side of tater tots are definitely a shareable portion. Rounded it out with $10 mimosa and then had to try their specialty cocktail list with their take on an espresso martini named Pharmaceutical Stimulant. Staff were all welcoming and warm. Smiles. Suggestions. Service.

Delicious

Mixed Experience: Great Service & Appetizers, but Skip the Wings I'm back with another review, and this time it's a tale of two experiences at the same restaurant. The Good: 4.5/5 1/2 Our server Ross was outstanding--a genuinely friendly guy from Fermanagh, Ireland, who provided excellent service throughout our visit. The drinks were fantastic, and the Philly egg rolls were absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be requesting Ross on our next visit, and I encourage you to tip him well if you have the pleasure of being at one of his tables. The Bad: Wings - 1/5 Unfortunately, the chicken wings--which should be one of the simplest menu items to execute--were a major disappointment. We tried multiple flavors, and every single one had the same issue: a strong taste of old fryer oil that overpowered everything else. You could taste every item that had previously been cooked in that oil, which completely ruined what should have been a straightforward dish. Context: This isn't my first visit to this establishment, and I've had great experiences here in the past, which makes this particularly disappointing. I don't typically write negative reviews while still at a restaurant, but the wings were bad enough to warrant immediate feedback. My Recommendation: Come for the drinks and Philly egg rolls--they're worth the visit. Ross will take great care of you. But do yourself a favor and skip the wings until the kitchen addresses their fryer oil situation. There's clearly a quality control issue that needs attention. Hoping to see improvement on my next visit!

Vintage Irish pub serving delicious brunch with a diverse menu in a comfortable speakeasy style restaurant. The service is impeccable. The portions are generous. The drinks are expertly crafted.

Decided to come here for a night out with a friend I hadn't seen in a while. It was right before happy hour was ending and we got seated at one of the high tops. The servers were very attentive (pretty sure we had several different ones?) We split fries and hot honey chicken sliders. I'm very basic when I order drinks but I stuck with a vodka soda. I would definitely come back!

The food, ambience and drinks were amazing! Upon walking in? My friend and I did not know reservations were required. Good thing there just so happened to be 2 empty seats at the bar.

The Art of the Outing escapes many, bit that "art" is practiced here in spades. When I entered James welcomed me and poured me a water. You don't know how that little touch lets you know the level of professionalism to come. I ordered the Laphroaig 24 year ($140) neat to cheers in the New Year. When I asked about the beers on tap, James knew the taste profiles for each beer. I order the Squash Salad and the Roasted Pork sandwich. This was the second excellent meal I've had here. Very flavorful. The atmosphere is very laid back. In fact, between the Edison lighting and soothing contemporary music, being here for an hour will likely lay you back. Good conversation with other patrons each time.

A real Irish Pub with old time decor! Food was great as well as the service. This is downtown White Plains so there is no parking but it is within walking distance from my hotel and the local apartment residences. Drinks were on point! Got to meet the owner- nice man.

I came here for happy hour and I had a wonderful time. I would definitely be back; I order the wings and they were good. I would definitely order the tequila pineapple and hot Thai fig. The wings were crispy and hot. I ordered the fall mule which was good as well. The bartender Oliver was very nice and gave great recommendations. The place is great alone or with coworkers. The lighting is dim but still light enough to see what you are eating. They also have a fireplace and a homey antique decor.

Cute brunch place, but small menu. Gives me speakeasy vibes. You can either sit at the bar or in the back room where there's a fire place and a cozy atmosphere. It is a quieter more intimate brunch experience. When I came with my friends I got the pancakes and our waiter gave us all free shots. Staff was great and was overall a great time to catch up with friends.

Jennifer gave us fantastic service and recommendations. I loved my espresso martini. I chose peanut butter banana whiskey in it and it was fantastic! The s'mores martini was so great. One or two people were at the bar already. It looked like setup was still going on by the owner and bartender. The vibe is definitely still dive bar or sports bar. It's not the speakeasy feel we were hoping for. It's too bright, and the music is pop-y. Big TV over the bar and on the wall. They were out of Baileys, which was central to most of their seasonal drinks. We said we'd order something else as our first round, and the owner said he'd go get Baileys for our second round. It took forever to get our cocktails. And like I said, there was barely anyone in the bar. I don't recommend the Empress. Too heavy on the citrus and not a full glass (see pic). The old fashioned was good but also small. Prices were more than I would have expected. We decided not to stay around for a second round - and as it turns out, the owner hadn't yet gone to get another bottle of baileys.

I got a great exclusive prefix menu for my Princesses day! I was able to make some changes and I tell you what I spent per person with my family was a fair price. The food was absolutely amazing. I'm sorry I don't have many food photos because I was trying to be in the moment! But I will be back and will try the patio which I had really hoped for for my party but there was another private party or large and we were upstairs but my girl said it gave her the bday vibe she wanted. We had reservations for 7p, I got there early and everyone welcomed us anyway and sat us immediately no waiting until your whole party arrives. We had amazing drinks, bread, family style apps the Burrata and the meatballs to die for! We all mixed between spicy rigatoni, seafood linguine frute de mar, filet Mignon, branzino, it was all amazing and I'm drooling as I type! Recently stopped by to try their Sweet Truffalo and Tajín Tamarindo wings for a wing walk…read more The Sweet Truffalo was interesting...kind of a sweet buffalo vibe with that truffle twist. It's different in a good way, but I was expecting a bit more heat and punch. Still tasty, just on the milder side. The Tajín Tamarindo wings were probably the more fun one...sweet, tangy, and that chili lime type kick. Good idea flavor wise. Last year I also tried their Pineapple Sweet Chili wings and Jalapeño Cilantro wings. Pineapple Sweet Chili was a mix of sweet pineapple flavor with a mild chili sauce. More sweet than spicy, kind of sticky and tropical. Jalapeño Cilantro was a fresher, herb forward flavor with jalapeño heat and cilantro brightness. Not super heavy or saucy, more of a lighter, zesty wing. Overall, Hudson Grille is more of a vibe spot than a dedicated wing destination. The flavors are creative and fun to try, especially if you like sweet or fusion style wings, but consistency and boldness can vary.
