We came opening time on Sunday and there's a few people waiting but plenty of seats available. Service was good, not going to name drop but service was just good. The garlic butter snow crab was the most underwhelming thing ever. We've gone to a few boiling crab locations before and it was delicious. This was so below average at least it was edible. Really no flavour crabs tasted like nothing super disappointing. We also got shrimp in a different sauce and that was better. I always get a pound of snow crab any Cajun boil and it's always been my fav. Super dissatisfied with this location probably won't be back! The wings were perfect. Only thing saving this review! I'm going to give them 2 stars because the server was eventually able to seat us indoors. The patio is not heated AT ALL. I will start by saying their app or whatever they use to estimate the table wait time was glitching today. It would bump me to 5, back to 7 and I ended up at 10 at one point. The girls in the front are so helpless. I asked to speak to a manager because at this point I've waited over 20 min of the estimated wait time. In the mean time my party and I were chillin ordering drinks as we wait. We were a party of 5, 2 elderly and a child included. We were very patient and the manager offered us no solution. I don't remember her name because I couldn't believe how incredibly rude she was. She was a young lady who offered me zero solutions other than to "not rely" on the link that they, the establishment sends me. Like. We just spend over $$ to WAIT. You couldn't offer us a table inside or even a drink while we wait? I even told her they were not being at all hospitable as they have been in the past. I'm so disappointed in this establishment. I am even more disappointed because I convinced my family to come here for my birthday. I will be taking my business to Woodland Hills moving forward. Whoever was the manager today, please have someone speak to her about customer service and hospitality. Ew. Just ew. My waitress and server though. 5 stars for the effort. The wait is off the charts here. If you don't get on the Yelp waitlist, or having something to do for the couple hours until your table is ready, it's gonna be rough. There are absolutely no slower times to visit. That said, Boiling Crab is the perfect place for a seafood boil. The sauces are delicious, the seasonings are great, and once you get your table, service is fast and lovely. Every server is a delight. And the menu is so much more than seafood in a bag - highly recommend the lemon pepper fries. Pretty much everything fried is also a slam dunk. Franchise-wise, the one change I wish they'd have is to make the XXX spicier. It's simply not hot enough for my taste. read more

The staff is dedicated to you, the music is lowkey on point most of the time. The food is consistently solid. I had such a fun dinner at The Boiling Crab! It was really nice to be able to fully customize my meal - we ordered clams, shrimp, crawfish, crab, veggies, & gumbo. Everything was really flavorful & had the perfect amount of heat (we opted for medium). Our food came out quickly too. They even have great margaritas. It is insanely messy though - so be prepared to not wear white or touch your phone until your meal is complete. Can't wait to come back! read more

The Boiling Crab in Burbank, California is a very busy establishment. We got in addition to 2 pounds of shrimp in garlic, lemon pepper, butter sauce , some rice and three crab legs. You have to work a little to peel the shrimp, but they are delicious. You also have to crack the crab legs open. A little pricey, but worth the splurge. read more

I'm probably one of the last people to finally try The Boiling Crab. I know, I know.... How could I not? They were always so crowded, I thought, so I just stayed away. I don't mind eating with my hands, so it wasnt that. The crowds and waiting and being messy... all of that kept me away. Until now. Ha! We had an 18th birthday luncheon for my nephew so we went to the Burbank location of TBC. We were a party of about 18 people. We got there just as they opened so waiting was not an issue for us at all. Whew! We ordered sweet potato fries and lemon pepper wings. The fries were just ok but the lemon pepper wings were pretty good. Strong lemon flavor but I liked it. We also got shrimp, corn & sausage with the whole sha-bang. That was really tasty. I liked it. And I also like that there is a hand washing station for the dining room. In fact it was right by our table. Service was very good. They were very attentive, informative for a first-timer like me and we appreciated that. The entire party liked their meals, especially the youngsters. I shouldnt have waited so long. Free parking in the nearby structure near the movie theaters. Street parking is a tough score. Restaurant just opened for the day so it was spotless. This was a Saturday. read more
