I recently visited The Boiling Crab restaurant and had Christopher as our server. While the food at The Boiling Crab was quite good, I must admit that the service was lacking. Christopher took our order promptly but seemed to just hang out on the side afterward. It was evident that this restaurant operates on some kind of tip share system, as some employees worked hard while others did not. This became apparent because Christopher did not check in on us as frequently as we would have liked. Despite the subpar service, the quality of the food managed to compensate for the lack of attention from the server. The Boiling Crab is known for its delicious seafood, and it did not disappoint in that regard. The flavors were rich and the seafood was Bomb. Com We particularly enjoyed the shrimp we ordered. While I may not return to this specific location due to the lackluster service, I would still be open to visiting another branch of The Boiling Crab in the future. I have heard positive things about their restaurant on Main Street, which is conveniently located nearby. Hopefully, the service at that location will be better and more consistent. The restaurant is kept clean, They're constantly running around turning tables, Nice atmosphere it's a bit cold in there lol. So be prepared for that. I had a horrible experience at The Boiling Crab. The staff is untrained, inexperienced, and completely uninterested in serving their customers. From the moment I walked in, I felt like they didn't want me there. The employees were too busy talking to each other to pay any attention to the customers. It was clear they were overwhelmed, but that's no excuse for the lack of professionalism and respect. Not only were they rude, but they also showed zero effort to make sure customers were taken care of. The service was slow, and when we tried to get their attention, they were dismissive and uninterested in helping. Honestly, I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. First time and love it. We waited for an hour lol but okay. The only thing is that it was too Spicy for me the shrimp and the chicken wings .. next time will be getting mild the only thing that didn't like is that few girls servers gotta keep an eye because they touch their head scratch there face , nose , head and then grab the paper for table and contaminated the whole food paper since you eat with no plates. This has to be my 3rd time trying to come and eat here but it never fails to disappoint me and my family the 3 young dudes at the check in counter are all on cell phones and basically making fun of every one walking in. This is very bad for business and racist. Then again these are kids. Got here at 7:45 and the stoned out kid with color eyes and burn hair said they aren't taking in anymore walk in and could be placed on a " no guaranteed" list. Since so many ppl are waiting to be called in. This place is a joke and will be my last time. Trying this location. Def will take my money elsewhere where. No name tags or manager on duty. Wasn't a good experience at all. Ask the server for the amount for two people. He told us we needed one pound of crawfish for each person. We already order Crabs, oysters. I felt kinda fishy, and didn't listen to him. His service wasn't so good. Only came back to check on us once. Worse part was, it took forever to get our bill paid. Took forever to get him to bring the check, and forever to get my card, and forever to bring back the card. They seems like they are bz, but really NOT. waste people time. We've been coming here for a few years now and always enjoy our visits. I usually make reservations online before arriving and join the waitlist when needed. Recently, they changed the waitlist policy so you can only join if you're within 10 miles of the restaurant. Since I'm usually coming straight from work, I'm often unable to get on the waitlist ahead of time. That's probably the only downside. Other than that, the food is consistently great. We usually order the shrimp bags with garlic fries, and they're always delicious. We'll definitely keep coming back. read more

Worst location, I've been to lots of different boiling crabs, but this is the worst. This isn't my first time at this location, but I keep giving it chances and this will be my last. Mediocre service, my server took our order and never saw her again. We had to get up and pay at the register because staff just glances at you instead of actually checking on your table. I'm a woman of the lord and certain high class and decorum and honey this place is the beez knees!! The 3 young gentleman hosting were all so sweet and attentive to me and my husband. The lord would have loved them so. The one with curly hair was so handsome! Makes me blush!! Even my server Zaida I believe the darling dears name was, was an absolute doll and cute as a button. Been to this Boiling crab for a while now. I have only done take out food even before this pandemic. I usually called them to order before going there. My experience with ordering my food and picking up are good. I was in and out really quickly. My favorite items to order are: shrimps in the whole shabang sauce and Cajun wings. I love my food to be medium spicy. Their whole shabang sauce is really unique and I still love it to this day. I highly recommend this place. read more

The food is great! No complaints about the food. Went in for a in -store pickup and ordered a couple items. The wait time was not all bad considering the pandemic situation. I picked up the food about 25 minutes later and opened the bags to find some missing items. I went back in and they fixed my order immediately. Came to this new location bc the one on valley is togo only now. This location is bigger and no line when I went. Some pieces of the crispy fish was a little fishy maybe bc it was under fried. Shrimp whole shabangg was pretty good. Got mild but it was lacking flavor so we asked for medium spicy and it tasted alot better. Overall pretty good experience. read more

The store didnt bother to help you crack the lobster so I had to "chop" it when I got home. And the worst part: diarrhea. Terrible. This wasnt the first time I ordered and received bad food.
