Ambiance is very southern redneck bar. Flounder sandwich is straight from local bulk food store. Not really all that good, not bad. Sadly the fresh cut fries were cold. The cheese fries were sad. Service at the bar was great. Paige was amazing. Not our favorite place in town but it was open.

while researching, I have read about Bowery, its historic roots, live music, and vibe. while coming from Broadway at the beach, we stopped here for a couple of beers. we sat outside, ocean smooth breeze with a cold beer and bad chicken tenders (too much fried- too bad), also there was live music going on The Bowery bar provides a great night of live rock and country music, bar food, and well-priced pitchers of beer. When in the area, be sure to set aside an evening to enjoy a night of rock at The Bowery Myrtle Beach.

Sat outside here and had some lunch from Duffy's. Have to say the food was really good. It is kind of an iconic place here on the boardwalk given it was where Alabama played. We have also been here in the evening, for a new years as a matter of fact and it is wide open. The lunch time is a different vibe and is definetly nice and laid back

It's a country bar with a house band. Didn't care for the drinks but we enjoyed the music. Friendly staff. We parked off the strip because it's way too expensive to find a spot nearby. Stayed open til 2 but they closed quarter til 1. Plenty of seats in and outdoors and it was a lot of fun.

Stopped in early on a Saturday night with the family, 5 of us. Not a big space, so we took the only table in the restaurant capable of seating five. Restaurant was really a bar area with tables surrounding it, and a small gift shop. A few sports games on the televisions, only a few drunks at the bar, not overly annoying. Waitress was very good, and food was good. We had wings, mozzarella sticks, burgers and salads. I wouldn't recommend the wings, they just had a strange taste. Otherwise, place was cool, prices were good, service was excellent.

Didn't try the food due to smoking in the bar. But the service was nice and the inside looks just as dated as the outside. Super hole in the wall dive bar. Pretty awesome if you ask me. Other than the smoking we would have stayed longer.

Best burger I've had in a while, and you can't go wrong with carney fries. Awesome party atmosphere but "laid back" at the same time. Great local live music. Service was excellent, give respect get respect.

    Meh. Is the word.

Cool place by Myrtle Beach standards but the recent owner is a douche to put it lightly. He talks down to patrons as if they are dumb and wasting his precious time. Go there for live music when it's playing but it's not the same place Alabama graced any more. Now it's an ATM HELLHOLE that sucks you in. Band was meh. Owner even more so. Go for the experience and nothing more assuming it's happening.

Terrible French fries. Limp and soggy. And don't dance or sing because they don't like people having a good time.

One of the best hole in the wall spots for live music in the southeast! Great people watching and line dancing with excellent local bands.

Hated paying to park. But the server and host were awesome. The crab legs were ok about a three on a five scale. Whoever thought to make it savory instead of sweet missed the mark. The flavors of the slaw clashed with the rest of the plate. The fish was tasty and the chips were seasoned well and plentiful. There was also live music the evening we were there which was just lovely. Steven, our server shared the evening specials and was very attentive to us throughout our meal. Our table enjoyed delicious margaritas, the Autumn Power salad - fresh spinach, dried cranberries, fresh apple slices, and a refreshing dressing. The crab legs were delicious, two clumps with butter and lemons. We also had the shrimp and fries- 8 large shrimp lightly breaded with shoestring fries. Our land lover enjoyed the Reel burger- a juicy combination of chuck and brisket cooked to order. The bun was toasted and held up well to the burger. Overall the experience was very enjoyable. She was pleasant and patient, considering we had three teenagers at the table with one of them ordering like 5-6 sodas (to my dismay and horror lmao). She joked she should get one of our kids a pitcher. We had the fried chicken, the fried pork chop, chicken dumplings, and the BBQ ribs. Our favorite were the ribs. The sides were a hit. We got the fried okra, the mashed potatoes, the mac and cheese, green beans and fries. For the additional side it is $2.99 a person. Honestly, I felt the sides were so tasty & better than some of the meat dishes. The fried pork chop and the chicken and dumplings were not a hit at our table, but we did devour the fried chicken and get an extra order of ribs. We had no idea that this was a bottomless refill, but I don't know how anyone orders more than one extra entree because the portions are huge and quite filling. We were lucky to get a table close to the window so we could have a nice view. All of the workers were courteous & kind. If you are super hungry & have a larger party, you have to come here at least once, while visiting Broadway at the Beach. They also brought out biscuits to our table while waiting for our food, and those are hefty and warm. Hooray for another good Southern eatery during our visit to Myrtle Beach.
