A good place to grab a beer and some snacks in Vacaville. They have a huge range of beers on tap as well as bottles that you can buy. I keep hoping they'll expand their Porter and Stout selections. On the bright side, they do have some good ones on their short list that taste great with their pretzel bites with beer cheese. Their cheese beats most places that offer the same snack. The only downside for me is the pretzels can be overly salted. I spend half my time scraping off the salt. The inside has communal tables, regular tables and pub tables all up for grabs when you enter. The outside patio is a great place to hang out during summer evenings. Parking is not a problem as the plaza parking has lots of spaces. read more

We came in on Saturday for dinner. While we were eating our food, this off-shift manager Robert tries to do a strip tease dance while promoting how he was a manager there. He was clearly drunk and kept pulling his shirt off thinking we might care what he looked like. We didn't care, we were with our spouses trying to have a nice dinner. We asked him multiple times to leave us alone. The poor staff on duty had to apologize for his behavior as they could see that he was bothering us. Any other patron would have been asked to leave but since he is a "manager" he got to continue drinking and ruining our night out. Which was crazy because there was a warriors game on and they were pretty busy for a Wednesday night. The Place: It's clean and cozy. The tables are always clean and there's no crumbs underneath. Love the rustic, cottage-y interior. It's bar, so definitely it gets loud most times. There's multiple Flat Screens by the bar which are in view from afar as well. Indoor and Outdoor seatings are available. It gets crowded around 3 pm onwards. The Food: Chips and Salsa- I was disappointed with the Salsa. It taste like tomatoes from the can and they've just added sauteed jalapeno and onion on it. The chips, just okay. Pretzel Bread- it's chewy and warm. Love the cheese sauce with it. Burger- meat is tender and juicy. Cooked perfectly. The Bun taste great with the meat. It's not oily, which I love. Chicken Wings- oh this one's the best! Juicy, tender and crispy all at the same time. And it comes with different sauces. The sauce gets soaked in and makes the chicken quite soggy. So the trick is to order the sauce on the side. There's one time wherein the buffalo sauce taste more like hot sauce but most times the sauce taste on point. The Service: You get seated by one of the waitstaff almost right away...when there's an available table. All the waitstaff helps each other, I've noticed. Even if you have a particular server and you needed something...almost always one of the waitstaff will readily attend to your needs. They are really friendly and nice. Came in on Father's Day. My husband is vegan. We were 15 minutes before lunchtime and were refused lunch menus until noon when they served lunch. When I asked about vegan options on the brunch menu and was told, rudely, to "remove the meat and dairy from any of the items. Wasn't let inside to sit...I asked of I could sit in covered patio area and was denied... They only offered us to sit outside patio with no covering in over 98 degree weather. Unsave for him or I. Now it's a regular for me and I couldn't be more pleased. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The beer is always good and with a rotating beer list.
