Upon entry, very clean white interior with some floral/greenery aspects all around. There is bar seating to the front and many booths and tables to the far left. Overall felt fairly spacious! The service was friendly, with our server ready to take our order as we sat down- of course, allowing us time to look over the menu as it was my first time. They checked on us regularly, and although one item of each was missing, they were quick to make it right after asking twice. Not too bad. The stars of the show were definitely some of the food we ordered! The corned beef hash was a very hearty portion, well seasoned, and worth the price. This place actually went down in service, quality of food and quantity of food but most especially the quality of service which is practically non existent. You wait to be seated and a very long wait to get your food and even just the drink and no communication at all from your server and Lo and behold you get your food ( i got chicken waffle) the chicken they used is the game hen and i got 3 little pieces of very tiny wings part! Cute little brunch spot in the tri-city area! I took my mom here for a quick eat and we both really enjoyed the food. The Ube and Matcha Latte was a 5/5! The flavors were very prominent and had a good balance for sweetness (ube) and not too sweet (matcha). Last time I came I ordered the breakfast board so I wanted to venture out and order other items. First visit, my husband and I shared the Breeze Breakfast Board with hasbrowns on the side and an iced matcha-it was good but also just felt like the basics (continental breakfast-like). Me and a friend decided to come here for brunch so we decided -- why not, let's try a new place? (Especially because I was given the impression under her that this place was good). As a result, my hopes for this place were pretty high, and I had a pretty big appetite for an omelette or honestly for anything in general. Now comes the food portion -- this one I was very critical of because this made my experience with this place both good and living hell at the same time. My friend got the chicken and waffles, and I got the veggie omelette (without mushrooms because I have a taste aversion to mushrooms) with a side of country potatoes and tortilla. While the chicken and waffles was good and very crunchy, I found my entree to be a little quite disappointing. The omelette in itself was fluffy and full of ingredients, but the country potatoes were very dry and barely had any moisture in them. They were way too peppered and not salted well enough -- which made me had to add extra salt to get that acquired taste that I wanted. I would say the worst part was the tortillas. I shouldn't be a big critic of this, but if you're trying to do American-Mexican fusion brunch like this, at least... toast your tortillas like every other taqueria or panadería would? My tortillas came really dry and cold. There was no burn marks, and the tortillas tasted like straight cardboard. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very modern and sleek, which did elevate the experience just a little bit. I admire how much effort they put into making it feel vibrant enough for people to enjoy a good meal. Overall, would I come back here? Quite a delicious breakfast/brunch spot with large portions for the price! I ordered the Chipotle Skillet with an over easy egg and it was savory and rich with perfectly crispy hash browns and tender strips of tri-tip. The egg on top was cooked well but it could be a bit yokier. With some hot sauce this was a really satisfying, filling and delicious breakfast/brunch dish, although a bit heavy on the grease.
