Atmosphere was nice, it was very noisy and not that many people there at the time. Appetizers were really good, wings, egg rolls outstanding, and tuna tacos were excellent. Food was very good. Burgers and Roasted Chicken and Shrimp with Grits were good. Samantha was excellent, very attentive and helpful. However we brought our own cake, it was a birthday party and they charged $2.50 per piece that they sliced and then added a 20% gratuity. We had 10 people. I found this to be outrageous considering we all ate, drank and had coffee and cappuccino. The appetizers and drinks alone tab was $200. Our tabs were substantial and I found this extra charge for slicing a cake to be over the top especially adding a gratuity, I had the manager remove the gratuity from the tab for slicing the cake. He did remove it, thankfully. 20% gratuity is added automatically if you have over 6 people at a table. Would have given them 4 stars, just thought the cake charge and gratuity was a bit much. read more

For dinner, we had the buffalo wings for an appetizer which were so yummy. Seemed like they were charred which gave it such a great flavor. For dinner we split the Korean tacos. Two stars removed because they had no soap in the restrooms and I was told they were out of soap !!!!!!!!! How were the servers washing their hands with no soap? Honestly, the coke and the coffee was the best part of the meal. We ordered our food at 2:06pm and received the mozzarella stick 45 mins later. I ordered a MW that came out MR, and the pictures below are the "upcook" that I asked for. Apparently that's MW. I ate the damn thing since it's 24$ and totally not worth it at all!! No communication with our server letting us know what was taking so with the apps, even though me and my wife were super understanding that they were handling a 16 top at the time. Deanna has been my waitress several times and she is FANTASTIC. The service is always fantastic but she is stand out - so kind and genuinely a great person with an amazing attitude. Everyone must try! We decided to come for an early dinner. We have seen the restaurant since it opened in November and finally gave it a try! We are so happy that we did! There were 4 adults and 1 child in our party. We knew it was going to be good as soon as we saw my daughter chicken fingers and chips come out! The size of the meal for a kids meal was worth its value. The chicken fingers were so delicious (later found out they are marinated in a homemade ranch!) We then ordered a few appetizers. The chicken fried mushrooms, Korean tacos and the broccoli Johnny cake. Everything was amazing. For our meals we ordered the brick oven cauliflower, the lobster mezzaluna, and the shrimp and grits. We definitely enjoyed our lunch here and the bartender was very friendly. We tried their pizza and it was cooked really good with caramelized onions, etc.. We both had wine and the wine was very good. Also had their salad. It was very good as well nice and light on the dressing seems like it could be a very lively place. I honestly really hate to give this restaurant this review because the food is awesome but the service was just horrible. I went here for my birthday with three other people, we got there at 7:30 and were not greeted at our table to ask what we wanted to drink for 10 minutes. Our drink orders then took around 20 minutes to get to us. We were asked what we wanted for appetizers, got those relatively quickly but after that we were totally forgotten. Our server never returned to our table to ask us how our food was, if we wanted to order dinner, or to even simply just refill our waters. Whenever we asked for someone to assist us someone new would come each time and would have no idea where we were at during our meal. About two hours into sitting there we were still never asked if we wanted to order dinner, got our waters refilled, or were asked if we wanted something else to drink. We finally got up and told the hostess, who was pretty helpful but at that point we just wanted to leave. The 3 appetizers we got were great but the service doesn't make up for that. The service honestly ruined the entire night and the staff didn't really seem to care that we didn't even get to eat. I am anxious to return due to the lack of good service. I really wish I could've given this spot a better rating since I've been here before this happening but I am not sure how to feel anymore. read more

The inside is wonderful with plenty of TVs to watch a game and the atmosphere is really nice. We were seated immediately in a spot that comfortably fit his scooter. The management was kind enough to send a drink to our table since they realized we clearly could use one. They were able to accommodate our celiac child's gluten free diet (steak/chips) and even went to a neighboring bakery to grab him gluten free dessert. It took about 15 minutes for us to be able to put in our drink order and another 10 minutes after that to put in our food order. Then waited awhile for the food to slowly come to the table. We got the Black and yellow & The IcedTequila. These drinks had good potential but they were watered down and you could barely taste the alcohol in them. The food was alright! The egg rolls were probably the best thing we got. The korean bbq tacos needed more seasoning, the chicken sandwich was juicy but breading lacked seasoning as well. I've walked by the Brookdale thousands of times on my visits to Bloomfield and recently I finally had the pleasure of eating there. I needed a room for a good-sized group. Many people in my party were very COVID-cautious. We had a private room, the wait staff was both vaccinated and masked, and we had a wonderful time. The food was fantastic - I recommend throwing a party here. You get a choice of items from a wonderful, creative menu. We loved the eggplant caponata appetizer (sort of a bruschetta, super delicious), and the creative spicy eggrolls with sausage. We had mushroom pizza, chicken parmesan and grilled salmon. I saw this place on TikTok and as soon as I saw the mozzarella stick I was sold. My lady brought me here a few weeks later for my birthday with my 18 m/o son. Everything we ordered was very good and of course I got the mozzarella stick (The reheat the next day is even better). The staff were very polite and all were willing to assist even if the waitress wasn't available sometimes. We even met Thomas the manager and he was great. The decor is nice sports bar/tavern and service personnel were friendly but understaffed. We started with crab dip and Brussels sprouts appetizers. Crab dip was ok with warm pita but more like a cheese dip as crab was scarce. The Brussels were burnt and soggy. As far as drinks I tried the special gin tonic which was below average no rosemary and cheap vodka. We had pepperoni pizza which was good pepperoni sliced in strips and sauce on sweeter side. The burger was a mess burnt they list "fancy sauce" which was not visible or the caramelized onions burnt along with what looked like a thin slice of cheese no Bueno!
