I love an old fashioned and this one did not disappoint. We also ordered the peach and Prosciutto pizza & grilled flat iron steak for mains and shared. The pizza was so good. The crust was perfection and the prosciutto and peach were an excellent pairing. The flank steak was seasoned wonderfully, the potatoes and blue cheese were an excellent combination of flavors. Of course we had to have the carrot cake which is a favorite- has to be the best in Sacramento. I always love the dessert cookies and the peanut butter cream sandwich did not disappoint- another favorite to add to the list. Service was great and you can't beat the beautiful plant wall and decor on the patio for dining outside. Of course we will be back again.

Servings are right-sized, don't expect any leftovers in my opinion. You can't go wrong with their mushroom & Jarlsberg cheese salad, kale and romaine Caesar salad or their Thai noodle salad. That's exactly what I ordered (see photo)! The service here is okay, more transactional than personable. When I was here yesterday, I only spotted one server for the entire restaurant! Needless to say, I do enjoy the ambiance here with the comfy open booth seating. Something about having pillows to rest on makes the dining experience more relaxing. PS. I decided to have that for lunch. Everybody who was working there was very friendly. It was a great sandwich. The croissant was large, and it was tender. There was a very decent sized portion of. A very good quality, smoked salmon, it had cream cheese, and then it had rucalao, which is another name for arugula. The salmon and the cream cheese played wonderful together as you would expect they would, and the arugula with its slightly peppery bite, was a perfect contrast to the richness of the other ingredients. It was a decent sized sandwich, and I left stuffed. Don't let the fact that this place is in the middle of an office complex stop you from coming in. The lady that took my order was nice enough but when she gave me change from my $20 bill which was $5.56, she gave me $5.50 and did not seem to understand that she had left out the 6 cents. When she attempted to give the 6 cents she offered 11 cents and I had to tell her that it was a nickel and a penny not a dime and a penny. Not sure how long they've been in business or where they're from - really a minor issue which I'm sure will improve over time. I just spoke to one of the owners/workers. She tells me they have been open for about 4 months and are working to make things better every day. Her English was halting but good. I asked her about lunch/dinner specialties and she told me about shawarma. I asked about Khinkali and she told me they were dumplings. The picture of them was very nice. They offered a variety of specialty coffees but I opted for a small cup of "regular" coffee. I'm not a consistent coffee drinker but this was the most bitter cup of coffee I've ever had and required 9 packets of sugar and 6 creamers to be able to finish it. However, it was served in a very nice cup complete with saucer. I arrived around 10 am and ordered the "Lori Meat Love Omelet Sandwich". It was served on soft brown bread. The omelet was well cooked with crispy edges on the egg.. it was filled with some chopped "sausages" which had very little flavor, and I think some cheese. The sandwich benefited from some salt and a bit of Tabasco. An okay sandwich on par with many low end fast food restaurants and not worth the trip away from the main streets for breakfast, in my opinion. My thinking is that their strong suit may not be an American -style breakfast but more ethnic lunch and dinner options which I hope to return to try soon. I would like to see them do well. The location is in an area of office buildings and since I am never in this area, though it is close to me, I would never have known of it except I was at a doctor's office close by and used YELP to locate breakfast. I was in the restaurant for about an hour and there were 4 people besides myself that came in to eat. I don't know if this was a normal day or not. Not sure how long they've been open. I hope their lunch crowd is bigger. The menu is glitzy and pictures of the food are beautiful and appetizing. As I was leaving, the lunch crowd was starting to come in. I have hope that this place will be a neighborhood spot I can return to for lunch. It is spacious and allows for conversations and study. So if you're close to the area, take the time to stop by and try out their offerings. I love supporting small businesses and encourage everyone, whenever possible, to do the same.

We were seated in a booth upon request while we waited for her to arrive. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating to my son. When my daughter-in-law joined us, Amy took our order right away. I kid you not--I got everything I wanted from the menu and it was worth every penny spent, my son got a teddy bear pancake (which was reasonably priced), and I was even able to add an egg to my Western burger. My daughter-in-law placed her order, and off the waitress went. Moments later, our food arrived. It was fast, hot, and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, my daughter-in-law received the wrong meal, but Amy worked her magic again. She immediately took ownership of the mistake and corrected it without us having to do much more than point it out. Afterward, they let my son pick out a toy. He ended up choosing two, and because he has nonverbal autism and doesn't get out much, that small act of kindness meant the world to me. No one stopped him or complained about him picking more than one. It was heartwarming because I often feel judged over little things by people who don't know our story. Instead, we felt genuinely welcomed here. I danced in the car and sang to my son all the way home because I was so happy after our experience. Our server was amazing; you could tell she enjoyed what she did. When my husband got home from work, I couldn't stop gushing about what a wonderful experience we had together. Even longer since it was to a place that does it as nicely as here. The hash browns are generously done and amazingly not greasy. The bacon is cooked to perfection and is fairly lean (as bacon goes). For over 60 seniors who have slightly diminished appetites, there is also a senior menu of 3 egg as with diced potatoes or hash browns, bacon or sausage.
