Note that the parking lot, depending on which day you go, can fill up very quickly. The location is right off of the 101 and easy to find. We checked in and was seated within 10 minutes at a booth that overlooked the beautiful views of the Pismo Beach coast line. Our server, a younger black woman, who told us her nickname was 'TiTi', if I'm not mistaken, was wonderful. Her personality and hospitality was infectious and exceeded 5 stars. She brought us fresh hot corn and flour tortillas with a small cup of brown sugar butter and three different salsas to try. Everything was delicious. We ordered the surf and turf special which was a jumbo shrimp on top of a filet mignon that rested on mash potatoes and a creamy/savory white sauce. We also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese. Everything was exceptionally good. My only takeaway would be that I found the food, especially the lobster Mac and cheese to be pretty salty. Definitely excited for my next visit.

They gave us the wrong drink as a freebie which we didn't like. I guess to make up for the mix up. Then our dinner came immediately before our tortillas as appetizers. Catch of the day was sea bass with a few veggies and rice. Definitely not special. The flourless chocolate cake was dry. Overall a very underwhelming dinner. So sad. Probably not going back.

The cioppino might be the best I've had in recent memory, if not the best. The seafood was fresh (probably sourced from the ocean in central coast). The flavors were on point. Everything was amazing! There were 2 gigantic scallops in there, I don't think I've had scallops that massive! The clam chowder was also delicious. My husband enjoyed the fresh shrimp on his salad. A must-stop, in Pismo Beach!…read more Every time we return to Pismo Beach, we have to make a stop at Zorros for breakfast (they are open for lunch and dinner too)! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Eric at the door -- and it's always nice when the first person you see makes you feel welcome. He walked us to our table, chatted with us, and even remembered us from 7 months ago, including where we sat! It seems like remembering guests is a theme in this town, and we love that hometown feeling. This visit, I made sure to take photos of the food, and we also left with a bag full of their homemade salsa and hot sauce. I only wish they sold these at grocery stores back home in Los Angeles because we would definitely buy them! Thankfully they ship!!! Melissa was our server and was wonderful -- friendly, attentive, and very accommodating with my husband's dairy allergy. My husband ordered the vegetarian burrito, and wow... it was packed with fresh green veggies you could literally see through the tortilla - my see photos! I asked Melissa for a recommendation between the shredded chicken burrito and the carne asada burrito, and she suggested the carne asada. I took her advice and ordered it as a wet burrito with sour cream -- and it did not disappoint! We love the friendly service, the homemade flavors, and the welcoming atmosphere at Zorros. The fish was tender but crispy bites from the batter. I ordered the Pismo wrap (could be shared), I was not expecting it to be so packed with all the fillings. But it did come with lettuce, not cabbage (?). Hmm. The fish was okay, but not fried to enough of a crisp, so it was not crunchy. It was also a relatively small amount of cod in the the burrito wrap. I say burrito wrap as the tortilla was pretty thick and barely toasted. I did see other patrons sitting at the tables with much toastier-looking wraps, and it looked like the steak wrap came in a wheat tortilla. So is there more than one kind of tortilla? The tartar sauce was middle of the road and there was not enough of it in the wrap for my tastes - I like sauce. But I could not get more for the side, as the line was out the door by the time I discovered I could use more tartar sauce! So while it was fine, and the fish seemed fresh, I was somewhat disappointed, and did not munch this wrap with the zeal that I do the one from the other locale in town where I typically buy the killer cod wrap. The curly fries were good and well salted. Lots of people sitting outside; tables could've been cleaned better. Maybe staff should come out and wipe them down periodically.
