My girlfriend and I were extremely hungry and were in the area on Saturday. We were still on our high for Summerween and decided to go here to fulfill our needs and to get some good cocktails to pair with some delicious food. The entrance looked like one of those haunted houses you go in as a kid, and when we saw that, we knew that we were going to like this place. As soon as we entered the wooden oak door, we were greeted by our host and then taken to our table. The interior was absolutely awesome! It was extremely immersive with paintings and other dark and mysterious objects all around the bar. I loved how all of the staff were dressed in black and almost gotchic attire. Our server was lovely and a star! She made recommendations and checked up on us throughout the night. My girlfriend ended up getting the "roses by the stairs" cocktail and I got "the raven's claw". Both were gorgeous and delicious! We also shared some food and I loved all of it, especially the crepe! The host also took our photo by the fireplace and I think that was probably one of the highlights of the night. I also loved how so many customers were dressed up and not just your gothic or emo makeup and black clothes. At one point in the night, I swore I saw a nun walking around and my girlfriend thought I was seeing ghosts, like in one of the Conjuring movies! I would definitely love to come back here, not just with my girlfriend this time but with a group of friends, just to have a nice night out!

Very nice bar with a cute main dining room and a 2nd backroom. It's pretty loud inside so definitely not a quiet place to have deep conversations. There's also a small outdoor area with heat lamps. Decent amount of parking. Definitely wouldn't recommend coming on a weekend as a wedding party came by and drank all the champagne and prosecco. Mocktails and french fries were tasty though. Our server Emilee was super nice and attentive though. The hostess was also very nice and the bathrooms were clean. Definitely get on the wait-list early or make reservations. It can be over an hour wait otherwise for walk-ins.

Perfect spot for a date or girls night! Who knew this hidden gem was so close to Knotts Berry Farm! The ambiance is intimate and low lighting with no over loud music preventing you from chatting. All drinks here were great! I appreciated their fun take on a shot menu. If you're celebrating a birthday you get a birthday shot of your choice! Food and service also did not disappoint. Looking forward to coming back!

Stopped by last night for our fourth or fifth visit, and it just keeps getting better. My husband and I first came here for a dinner date back in 2019, and we've returned several times over the years. The last time I was here with my cousin, they were just starting to build the new section. I peeked in before we left and loved the green witch aesthetic. This visit, we kept it simple as we arrived close to closing time. Service is always excellent. We shared a charcuterie board, and drinks we started with the Wizard's Cup and Roses by the Stairs, then I went with the Blueberry Basil Bruja for my second round. All were delicious.

Fun libations, spooky vibes, and all around great hangout spot, the Cauldron has elevated cocktails that are to die for. Service was highly attentive and made great recommendations, as it was our first time here. A great place to sit and talk with friends, lounge around, and get fun/novel "elixirs" We love a good themed place of drink, and we can't wait to come back :)

This is the best bar I've been to so far in terms of service. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. We visited around 10:30 PM on a Wednesday night to grab some drinks and chat. The indoor atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing--perfect for hanging out and catching up with friends. There's also a great variety of drinks to choose from. I'd definitely come back again if I get the chance!

Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Parking: 4/5 Came by on a Tuesday evening with a reservation. Emily was our server, and she was amazing! She made great recommendations, was incredibly friendly, and even helped the bar make my favorite Cauldron tiki drink (which is currently out of season). It's always a fun time, and I'll definitely return!

Back again. Stopped by last night to try out their new (or I guess returning) Wicked Elixirs! Per usual, had a great experience. Everyone's so friendly and helpful. It was weird that we had to wait 15 minutes for a table - and even for a table that was free the whole time but I understand there are reasons we do not know. It was in between 4 other tables with people already seated so there was a server in that area. BUT they gave us a tour of the back room that you can book for parties, which was fun, and we sat outside in the cooling down weather while we waited. The drinks were good and the food we got was yummy.

I cannot recommend The Cauldron Spirits & Brews enough. Making the short trip up from Huntington Beach to Buena Park was completely worth it for this unique experience. The 17th-century witch-themed decor is beautifully immersive, with its dark, cozy seating and bubbling cauldron fireplace offering a relaxed environment that is a wonderful change of pace. While the French-inspired comfort food and creative craft cocktails are fantastic on their own, the true highlight of our visit was our server, Kaylee. She was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive without ever being overbearing--which is exactly the kind of welcoming hospitality that makes a dining experience genuinely comfortable.

If you want to experience a unique restaurant, this one has a mysterious, ghostly and bewitching theme. You will not be disappointed. 5 stars for the creative decor, creative cocktails, mocktails, dinner menu and good-natured employees. They create new seasonal drinks, be sure to check out the Drink of the Month and the Astrology Drink too. I attended a friends birthday and holiday get together with fellow Yelp Elites. Some had been here previously and highly recommended it. I can always trust their judgment when selecting a place to meetup and, The Cauldron was fantastic! We had reservations in the Conservatory Room, and arrived as the doors opened at 4pm. We ordered family-style appetizer plates to share, it's the best way to sample different dishes and not over-eat!! We had: Charcuterie (Cheeses, Nuts, Fruit and Crostini bread), Pretzel Bites, Steak Frites, Smoked Turkey Sliders, and Pierogies. Make reservations on their website, It may be a challenge to get table if you dont. Sincerely, Rosemary

This is my favorite themed bar! The vibe is wicked and there's plenty of artwork and hidden gems to admire throughout our visit. They've also expanded and have a bonus room plus outdoor seating. Expect a long wait on weekends though, unless you have a reservation. My go to drink is a Raven's Claw and I also tried out their Peppermintini. Raven's Claw- This is a rum based drink with pineapple juice and berry. It is sweet but very strong because they are quite generous with alcohol here. Peppermintini- This is a seasonal drink so enjoy while it lasts. The peppermint flavor is refreshing with sweet white chocolate undertones. The sugar rim gives you an extra boost of sweetness. Always a great time here!

Shout out to RACHEL! She was bubbly, welcoming, and attentive. She had a good sense of humor and was clear when suggesting IPA for my husband. Ambiance isn't something you'd expect...it's better than what you'd think. The decor and vibes were spooky (appropriately for not being Halloween), it wasn't extreme but it was just the right amount (coming from someone who isn't a spooky person!). I enjoyed the decor, lighting and the camera in the beam (I wish I was able to try it out...next time! Food was delicious, came out quickly. Small portions but tasty. (My husband and I shared three dishes). IPA was good (he said) I had the mezcal with aperol ‍ Delicious! If I didn't have to drive back to SFV...I would've had another! Will be back, and I suggest if you're in the area... Don't judge a book by its cover ;)

Double, double, toil & trouble. The Cauldron is place of mystique. The décor is spooky & whimsical and the atmosphere is cozy & magical. I met some darling Yelp friends here for a holiday celebration. In the main dining room you'll find eclectic antiques, a brick lined fireplace with a smoking cauldron brewing inside and ornately framed vintage photos on the wall. The Conservatory room, where we were seated, reminds me of a mystical garden in New Orleans with overgrown botanicals and twisting vines. It's quite lovely & tranquil. We came here for the elaborate cocktails that are skillfully mixed like magical potions. They also serve specialty themed drinks for the holidays. Of course, a Peppermintini & Silent Nightcap were ordered. The Strega in me ordered the Grey Witch - a tasty twist on a French 75. We also had to get one of the showstoppers - Knotty Kid Martini. (See video). The Xochitl aka "The Xo" was also a tasty surprise (Mezcal, Hennessy, Lillet Blanc, Guava Puree, & Mole Bitters), and there are even tasty mocktails too. Our foodie feast consisted of: Baked Brie en Croute, Pretzel Bites, Pan-Fried Potato & Onion Pierogies, Smoked Turkey Sliders, Garlic Parmesan Frites, & a Cheese Board. Everything was tasty and earned a thumbs up but the fries stole the show! Our sever Ariana was a delight and made sure the festive vibes kept flowing. *Happy Hour Wed - Fri 4 pm - 6 pm All day Tuesday. *Private parking lot. *Across from Knotts Berry Farm

Are children allowed here for dining?

I believe during the day yes, up until a certain time. It then is strictly 21+

Hi, ? I just heard you guys have a hidden door for the speak easy bar ..how do we get in?

They have a hidden door within their bookshelf next to their bar yet it's sadly not a speakeasy. It's a private room for events and parties. It only contains a big table for 10+ people. I'd talk to the manager to see if you can rent it out so you…

Are there gluten free options for eats?

    Yes.

Do you need to join the waitlist or create a reservation if you just want to grab a drink from the bar?

We have walk-up bar service available daily. The bar top is open seating but often fills up during busy service. The daily waitlist and reservations are for full table service; all tables are host-seated. Cheers!

What's the difference between the Dining Room and Conservatory reservations?

Both are awesome seating. The Conservatory is a beautiful new addition. Very tranquil and relaxing. Main dining room is the original and very cool, close to the bar. Can't go wrong with either for dining or drink's.

Do you have a private space for 20 people?

Hi there! We do not have a private space for 20 guests but we may be able to accommodate group seating reservations in our regular dining area when available. Please reach out to us directly to ask about seating options, cheers!

    Can I make a reservation?

No reservations but make sure to sign up on the Yelp wait-list. They have a walk up bar and some seating outside as well this year. It helps pass the time while you wait for your seat (super busy around this time of year)

Hi! I was wondering if you have any gluten free/celiac friendly food options?

Hi there, yes! We do have a few Gluten-free / safe items, please contact us directly (social media, direct message, or email) for a GF menu breakdown. Thanks for checking us out, cheers!

Hi I was just wondering if your French Onion soup is vegetarian?

Hi there! Sorry, no, our French onion soup is not vegetarian as we use a traditional beef stock in the broth. Thanks for checking us out, cheers!

This would be perfect for a gift, can i order gift card or certificate ? Online?

You can do a gift certificate, I believe it's not online, I went in to Cauldron, they did it for me right away, the amount starts at $50, I would call to make sure before going in or trying online

Are there any gluten free food options?

Hi friends! We have a few menu items that are gluten-free/safe, and a number of our menu items can be adjusted by omitting bread or sauces. Let your server know about any dietary restrictions before ordering. Please contact us directly on social…

Can I bring my daughter here for her birthday she turns 14?

Hi there, we do allow guests of all ages to dine with us however we are strictly 21+ only w/ valid ID at 10pm each night. Heads up, we will not seat any party with underage guests if there is not enough time for full service; we often have longer…

How accurate are the wait times from Yelp usually?

I believe If you arrive early enough you shouldn't have any trouble getting a table, after around 4:30 or so I suggest having a reservation.

Is this place Vegan friendly? If yes, what can they do for vegans in terms of food?

I believe it is if you go to website or on this site it says Vegan friendly. Wonderful food, ambiance is wonderful.

For Valentine's Day will you have a pre fixe menu per person?

Hi there! We will have a few special menu items but no pre-fixe menu is planned. Watch our social media stories and posts for all info regarding upcoming specials and service changes. Thanks for checking us out!

I am planning to go there on Sunday for an early dinner to Celebrate a birthday. Is it kid friendly? Also I did see that it's possible to reserve a room. I don't have social media so I wasn't able to contact that way. Is that still an option?

Hi there! So we do allow kids before 10pm, but we aren’t specifically kid-friendly (no kids menu, no high chairs, no games, no TVs, etc) as we are a bar/restaurant/gastropub type establishment. We do have a single intimate private room that is…

How do I join the waitlist?

Hi there! The Yelp waitlist is just that, a daily running waitlist for current seating. You can get on the Yelp waitlist during business hours only, and it cuts off for new additions at 10pm on Wed/Thurs/Sundays and 10:30pm on Fri/Saturdays. When…

Do you offer reservations for a nice table or seating for 8 people together?

Hi there, we do offer a single intimate private dining room that is available to rent (rental fee + food/drink spend minimums apply). Please direct message for more information on private room reservations.…

This is our first time here are there reservations required,?

Hi there! So we don’t take reservations as we seat guests with Yelp Waitlist and on a walk-in basis.…

After our party of six chatted over cocktails and preyed on pupus, we moved to a "secret" room tucked in the back of Stowaway and walked into a Belly Of The Beast. The founders and co-owners of Stowaway, Leonard Chan and Dominic Iapello, created this extension to the tiki bar with a wildly interesting Pinocchio theme and the famed encounter with Monstro the whale all the while serving the same offerings in Stowaway but with also an exclusive limited menu just for this adventure. With its proximity to Disneyland and its Enchanted Tiki Room, with the very niche underground-like society of tiki culture they found a consistent customer base and the thrill of island escapism through colorful cocktails, pleasurable pupus, tropical trimmings, and nostalgic know-how. How would my belly handle the beastly drinks concocted here!? PURCHASE(S) Gepetto's Last Words ($16.00): Intrigued by the cocktail's name, this elixir was crafted with Fid Street Gin, tangerine, creme de violette, lemon, and cucumber, it was a citrusy refreshing sweet drink that was decorated with bright yellow petals. It was nice, but for whatever reason it just didn't quite hit the spot. [ONION RINGS/STRAWS/STRINGS ALERT - 4.0 of 5.0 STARS] Onion Rings ($9.00): A decent portion with rings of medium to large sizes, these were hot, dark golden browned, crunchy, and had a slight tendency to crumble when bitten into while the onion ring (sweet Maui!) rarely pulled out at times. They were lightly oily while the catsup wasn't needed but used. SERVICE While in Stowaway, we informed our male server to let us know when we were allowed to enter the belly. Once inside and situated, we had the place and bartender to ourselves. After we all perused the menu, we placed our orders, and everything arrived within ten minutes. The rest of the time was spent chatting, picture taking, and our bartender checked in on us also giving a Dole Whip taster. All was casual, chill, and somewhat on island time - aloha and mahalo! PARKING (FREE): They shared a medium-sized private lot with several other businesses who were closed at this time with plenty of spots - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE "Hidden" inside Stowaway which was located within a strip mall, the entire theme was based on the Pinocchio story, the interlude in time spent inside Monstro, and as we entered it felt like the beginning of the Disneyland "Storybook" ride as you road a canal boat into the mouth and sharp teet of a whale. There were several marionettes (appropriate and non-appropriate) that hung from the ceiling and belly walls, along with other Disneyesque memorabilia, a few sitting booths, and a tiny bar at the end of the roo. No natural lighting whatsoever while an assortment of extremely low-lit electric lights and table candles glowed. There were no TVs while I couldn't recall any background music. ATTIRE Although I was actually dressed appropriately for the occasion in an aloha shirt, linen pants, and flip-flops, this place was totally casual, so a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops would suffice.
