5 stars for having ranch! The wrap was tasty and filled til the last bite. I want to go back because the chicken sandwiches looked insanely good.

2nd time coming to the chicken Shanty. Same amazing experience. I got the Baddy Hot sauce and it is even better than I could have imagined. I already love the last two sauces I tried. The House Southern is a perfect mix of spices and perfectly paired with the delicious fries. The crew and chef know what they are doing. Believe their recommendations on your sauces. They nailed it for us. Perfectly cool temperature inside or if you are craving the heat outside they have picnic tables outside as well.

Surprisingly bad food. I had heard good things about other locations and decided to give it a try. I drove thru and ordered the Octoberfest. Came with fries and drink. Pulled around to window. Gave him my card. When he returned the card he went to get my drink. To my surprise he reached into a fridge and pulled out a 2 liter jug of sprite, poured from it and handed it to me. Not cold and mostly flat. When I got home I opened my food container. Fries are store bought, frozen crinkle cuts and all white. No color at all so undercooked. Burger very bland. Supposed to have beer cheese, onions, and bacon jam. Absolutely none of that was found under the bun. The bun is burned, top and bottom. Spent $15.00 Never returning to this place.

My daughter and I were so excited to try this place and we were so bummed when it was seriously just blah. Chicken had little to no flavor. Which means you're depending on the sauces to make up the flavor. Sadly the sauces are really average. We tried ranch, bbq and chipotle. The fries tasted stale and like they'd been sitting out. Also little to no flavor (I've seriously never met a fry I won't demolish) Neither I nor my 10 year old even bothered to finish our meals. We threw away more than half. The food in the picture I added totaled 33$ plus a 15% tip. Felt like I threw away nearly 40$. The service was fine but it is a Pepsi establishment. Which to me is just another point against them. Slim Chickens is a far superior fast casual chicken option.

Visited the chicken shanty today one of my favorite restaurants in town. I want to give props to the gentleman running the show back there putting his heart and do it. Keep that one around. You won't find employees like that. Kid is absolutely killing it. Give him a raise for sure. 09-02-24

The remains of two chicken sandwich meals

This meal absolutely changed my life. The service was immaculate, the ambiance / music was killer, and food was so incredibly amazing that I literally downloaded Yelp just to leave a review. Sadly, I do not have a picture of my meal, but here's a picture of the remains of an Octoberfest sandwich and Nashville hot sandwich

He had us laughing the entire meal and gave us some of the best service we've had in a long time. The food was incredible. The sweet potato fries and onion rings were both delicious, and every sauce we tried was amazing. I ordered the PBB&J burger and the Fresca burger. The PBB&J sounds crazy but it was one of the best burgers I have ever had, and they serve it in a vintage Jaws lunchbox which was such a cool surprise. The Fresca was just as good. The decor is awesome and even the merchandise is funny and high quality. We loved the shirts that said "Feed Me Burgers and Call Me Pretty" and "Snitches Get Stitches." And the bacon candied, hanging from the rack is worth an appetizer share A bit spendy, but lots of things that you can share to make it a reasonable experience. My mom wanted a burger, specifically a Guacamole Bacon Burger and fries, and we were in the neighborhood, having just left Rave. We went through the drive-thru and placed the order. We were shocked at the total, which came to nearly $17.00, but understood that in this economy and with grocery prices, it was what it was. We arrived at the window and waited, and waited, and waited. I knew that they cooked everything to order, but it felt like an eternity had passed since paying. Finally, the order was ready and we went home. Not only was I disappointed with the burger, but I was upset that what we paid for and the time we spent did not equal what we received. The amount of Guacamole was like a spread, and there was no deft to that burger. For the amount that we paid, that burger should have been loaded. My mom made the most appropriate comment, " Honey, Somebody shrunk my burger!" We won't be back, but at least I have my memories of a time long ago, in which Main Street made delicious burgers made with love and care and stacked with all the fixings just like in my pictures.

He used to frequent this joint when it was off of Fairview so he knew what kind of service and food to expect. It was my first time so I was excited to see what they had to offer. Walking in, the place was bright and clean. I headed to the counter and this sweet gal greeted me. I got my husband his usual which is a grilled ham and cheese sammy. I ordered a bunless double cheeseburger with jalapenos and grilled onions. Of course I got a side of fries and a vanilla shake to go with my husband's sammy. You gotta have fries with a burger! Since I recently got my new kidney, I have to be really careful with utensils, condiments and lids that are communal. I have to be so careful with germs that could possibly be on these common items. I told the sweet gal behind the counter about my new kidney. The gal was sweet and let me grab what I needed out of the boxes behind the counter that no one had access to. I appreciate that she was understanding and kind about my safety. Didn't question it one bit! I got my utensils, ketchup packets and napkins. My burger was so tasty! I was only able to finish half of it. So, next time I will definitely just get a single patty. There was plenty of cheese, jalapenos and grilled onions. The fries were hot, salty and crispy. I did enjoy the soggier fries, the soggy ones are my favorite. The fry sauce and ranch were both great dipping sauces for the fries. My husband did not share one sip of that vanilla shake and he finished the whole thing. I'll take that as a great shake! From the service to the food, everything was great! I appreciate the gal behind the counter for being so kind and considerate about my health needs when she didn't have to. The fries and burger that I had was killer! I say that ranch was some of the best I have had. We are never really on that end of town but if we are, I know where we will be eating! You can never go wrong with a good burger and fries.

We were close to the area and we finally were able to visit and I'm sure glad we did. The restaurant is located in a nice shopping center on the corner of Eagle and Overland, immediately on the other side of 84. The location is nestled towards the back of the center and can easily be missed as it's tucked in the corner of a small lot. We were greeted with a huge smile and swift seating to a booth in the larger dining room area. Even though it was barely 11:30 am on a Saturday, the dining room was already filling with hungry customers and the kitchen was notably bustling. We had Kaitlyn as our server. She arrived with a sunny disposition and eagerness to get our orders going. Downside, due to cost, tomatoes are not available. I have to say, that kind of broke my heart a little...tomatoes, in my eyes, are a requirement for every burger. I ordered the Bleu Bacon single burger and hubby had the cheeseburger. We ordered a small fry (1/2 pound) for us to share. Food did take quite a while to come out, but our server did come by several times to check on us, refill drinks, and give us updates (apparently a large to-go order backlogged the kitchen). The burgers came out first. I was a little underwhelmed with the small burger plate and cheese that was obviously cold when added to the burger and had become a tad sweaty from being steamed instead of melted. I had little hope....but then I took my first bite. The Kaiser hamburger bun was soft, burger patty was nicely seasoned and the bleu cheese was punchy without being overwhelming. The bacon sung through. The fries quickly followed. We were surprised by the home cut style, thick and irregular...rustic and perfectly cooked. These suckers are huge. But with every fry, it was crunch-tender on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I really enjoyed our visit, but the place seemed to be a little understaffed. Several tables had plates stacked or cleaning supplies atop the tables. That aside, service was attentive and the food tasted great, even without the tomatoes.
