This was the most embarrassing experience in the post Covid era. -52 minutes late seating our reservation with no time updates from the hostess -4 medium well steaks delivered when medium rare was ordered -two flat and stale Sam Adams beers -the cocktails were watered down and not one person finished theirs -table bread was brought out 30 minutes into our meal -no plates were cleared off the table from the appetizers to dessert, we just had to continue piling them ourselves to create space to eat -several salads were given without dressing -3 Sprites had water poured into them and never received new ones or refills -it was my wife's birthday and the manager said they had a cake ready for her that we never saw All in all, I wouldn't wish that experience on my worst enemy let alone my own wife turning 30. They should be doing better but take advantage of so many people from out of town with a low likelihood of returning anyway. read more

We accidentally reserved a table at the wrong location. While we were initially disappointed, the staff sat us pretty quickly considering we were given a 45 minute wait estimate after our mistake. Pricey but delicious! My husband and I went here for our 25th anniversary meal while visiting the area. I ordered a Horseradish Crusted Filet that was cooked perfectly with a salad and a side of creamed spinach. The entire meal was delicious. My husband also stated that his steak was tasty. The service was great. The only downside was how dark the restaurant is inside. We fortunately asked for a booth with a light over it because the tables had a small candle in the middle of them. We're a Chop House family. It is probably our favorite place and we've ate at almost all of them. We've even ate at this one several times but our last visit was disappointing. The wait was close to two hours which was fine to us because normally the CH is worth it. This visit had me wanting to buy my own scales to weigh my meat because there's no way we got the sizes/ounces we ordered. The prime rib (which is my go-to) was the worst cut I've ever had, the 10 ounce ribeye was was no way 10 ounces and it was THIN. The sirloin that was supposed to be cooked medium was also paper thin and well done. Salads were made without the usual toppings. Baked potatoes were iced cold--the butter wouldn't even melt. The Bloody Mary was the best Bloody Mary I've ever had and the service was decent. read more

Cooked to perfection a bit of char. The mint sauce really isn't needed. SN: who started the whole mint jelly/sauce with lamb? It's never good! Properly cooked and seasoned lamb is perfect on its own. We looked at the menu before coming and we're very excited about the choices. I ordered the caramel fudge cake. It came warm with Icecream on the side. So moist and decadent! The caramel and fudge go well together and it feels wonderful on the tongue. Hubby ordered the caramel cookie crunch. I tasted it and it was good. But if you ever tasted talenti's gelato of the same name. This is just a deconstructed version of that. I preferred mine. I went to this location on this past Wednesday with 3 of my friends. The wait was long since we went at the end of prime time in tourist town. When she first walked by before our order, she was upset about something. The waitress was extremely busy with the 2 other tables and took a bit to get to us for our drink order, that was about 7pm. Either way she was busy. After a while, we received our drinks and she took our order. The food came out about 40 minutes later which I felt was a bit long. My order came out wrong with some sort of mushroom sauce on it. The meat was a little bit over medium but still had a good taste. All of us were pretty pleased with the food and a bit disappointed in the service. Overall, the food was pretty average for a steak place but nothing to really to write home about. read more

Everything was great quality at this place: covid procedures, food, and service. I went for lunch on a Saturday. We had to wait 30 minutes or less to be seated. The lunch prices are inexpensive for the quality/amount of food. Covid-19 precautions: This is the only restaurant that I've visited that took our temperature at entrance which I really appreciate. Table spacing is really good and everyone is wearing a mask. Precautions are pretty loose in this general area so I was shocked at how thoughtful they are being. It made me more comfortable eating here because I knew they did not take safety lightly. Fried calamari also comes with fried shrimp. The batter is so good that I didn't realize I had picked up a batter-fried pepper instead of calamari or shrimp. It was that good. Spinach Queso dip is the best variation of the typical spinach dip you see at other restaurants. Mozzarella sticks were very crispy and packed with gooey cheese. Voodoo tacos had crispy chicken tenders, cabbage, pico de gallo, and a spicy drizzle of sauce. I loved it and could eat it all without the tortilla. I asked for extra sauce on the side because I feel like they give you a lot of chicken with little sauce. The sauce is spicy so if you don't want the extra heat you could ask for an alternative. The mac and cheese is not the best I've ever had but it was okay. I also tried the chocolate caramel cake. It is a chocolate cake with caramel sauce rather than the caramel being a part of the cake. The only problem we encountered - and it was a big one - was the front door nearly fell on my sister and despite knocking (she couldn't move for holding up the door) it took far too long for someone to come and help. And when she did her reply was, "this has been happening all day, let me just set it back in the hinges." Seriously ?! The door is broken it could injure someone. I tried the chophouse based on a recommendation from a friend who lives locally. I asked for my burger to be cooked medium rare and it was medium well. I probably should've sent it back, but I didn't want to complain and sit and wait while my girlfriend had her dinner. She ordered the 6 ounce filet medallions with a reduction sauce and mushrooms. Perfection as always! This is becoming a yearly vacation tradition I've taken my son to. I treat us to the 7oz sirloin lunch special which runs around $20 per person (that's with fountain beverage or tea). It's a great value for such a delicious and perfectly prepared meal. We love going to eat dinner when we come up on vacation. The food is always great but tonight I have to say our waiter was equally great. Don't remember his name but from ordering drinks, appetizers, and dinner, we never needed for anything and glasses were steady refilled. Only 4 stars because who I assume is the manager decided it was a good idea to fuss at a hostess clearing a table beside us. She looked to be doing a good job but he thought it was alright to do this in front of customers. It's alright if you need to reprimand an employee for falling short on something, but never do so in front of others, take them aside and do so privately instead of embarrassing said employee, or allowing yourself to look like the biggest jerk to work for. read more

We made reservations for 5:15 (options were limited) and arrived right on time. We were seated within a few minutes... the meal started out by meeting expectations. Service was good and she answered all of our questions as we reviewed the menu. We did overhear the table that was seated after us were offered at least 1 off-menu special that wasn't offered to us. It sounded delicious and we would have ordered it if it was offered. The food: * chicken tortilla soup - didn't look good, but was quite tasty. The broth portion of the soup was seasoned very well. * the house salad was "just ok". I really do prefer cold lettuce... but realize that perhaps I'm just picky. Instead of croutons they use Asian crunchy noodles, which is an odd combo * the crab cake dinner - the crab cakes were over fried and the mashed potatoes were cold. We subbed the sugar snap peas for corn cream brûlée which wasn't what we expected but interesting * the double pork chop - we were asked if we were ok with a little pink (and we were) so asked that it be medium/medium well. It came out well done (almost over-done) but the flavor was great and the sweet potato was a nice compliment. * the medium rare ribeye came out medium well+. It was seasoned well and we really tried to like it... but just couldn't do it and ended up returning the steak. Unfortunately since the rest of the family was over 1/2 way through with their meal I didn't want to wait for a new steak to be cooked, so ended up leaving hungry.
