Came in for a quick snack. We had the mozzarella sticks and a Cesar salad. The mozzarella sticks were so fresh and yummy. Even the marinara was piping hot. Good place for a basic hot meal. It wasn't too crowded even though the mall in tad next to was really packed. They had music playing and sports on the tvs. All in all good times.

Great service, and delicious drinks. We had the spinach queso, and shared the prime rib (forgot to take a picture it was SO good!!!) Always a trusty go to when the tourist staples are running over. Ambiance is calm and relaxing. Low light, fireplace, and waiters are very professionally dressed. Try it out for a date night, or in between shopping.

We had a great family dinner when we were passing through Sevierville. The service was so good and the food was delicious. We will definitely stop by when we pass through again.

We went on a weekday evening. There was no wait. The food came out quickly. Our waitress Renada (not sure if spelled correctly.)provided a very positive dining experience. She was super nice, helpful with the menu and other suggestions, and would check in on our needs. I noticed she was very good at communicating with the customers at the other tables as well. The bread was very good & freshly baked. The Ceasar salad was very fresh and the dressing was really good. It did not have a strong tangy flavor which I appriciated. The appetizers were had: onion rings, calamari & shrimp were all very good and crispy. The sauces were also good. See photos for other descriptions.

We had a fantastic experience at The Chophouse. The food was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The Prime Delmonico Ribeye with blue cheese butter was one of the best steaks I've ever had--perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and truly memorable. The sides were just as impressive: the creamed spinach delicious, the deviled eggs were spot-on, and the sweet potato was cooked perfectly. Even the bread and butter were amazing. The service was solid--about 4 out of 5 stars-- i would have given 5 stars but they forgot our salad (but quickly remedied this by bringing something else). Server was friendly. Overall, The Chophouse delivered an excellent dining experience, and I would absolutely go back. Highly recommend! Also- grinch Christmas decor was awesome!!

Wonderful as ever, with fireplace ambiance. Excellent service and food. Angus Chopped Steak, spinach, and broccoli..warm bread. Quality superb. In Tanger Outlets. Typically recommend reserving, but there is also bar/booth seating.

Steak So Good, I Might Just Move Closer Our grandson came to visit, so the wife and I made a little getaway out of it and stayed in Pigeon Forge. On a whim--and with hunger setting in--we picked The Chop House. It was packed (clearly people know what's good), but thankfully we had made a reservation. Only waited about 10 minutes before getting seated near the bar--prime people-watching real estate. Our waitress was a gem--friendly, patient, and didn't even flinch when we asked a hundred questions. We ordered the ribeye and baked potatoes because, let's be honest, we weren't there to nibble on salads. The steak came out perfectly cooked and so good I almost offered to help wash dishes just to stay a little longer. We're from Abingdon, VA, but the next time we're picking someone up from the Knoxville airport, we're building in a mandatory steak stop at The Chop House. It's that good.

14 oz ribeye, loaded potato and mac and cheese.

I ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer only to have it delivered with batter so thick you could not find the tomato, and the batter had a fishy taste like the grease had also been used for frying fish. They were just not edible. When the waitress came to ask us how we enjoyed them, I told her there was too much batter and the grease tasted fishy. She didn't say a word, turned and walked away. You could tell her "How was it?" Inquiry was automatic and not a genuine concern for how the customers were enjoying the meal. It didn't get better. My grilled pork chops were tough, overcooked, and lacking any flavor. I could only eat one of the two provided. The pinto beans lacked any seasoning, but the coke slaw was good. My wife's pork chop was fried, and was better. It was cooked as it should have been. But her Mac and cheese was gummy and had an odd flavor. The cornbread was dry and not good. A friend who ate with us had Country Fried Steak. He said the steak was passable, but the gravy was disappointing. No onions at all in the gravy. This was not a good eating experience, and with the waitress's attitude, it was an almost a total flop. The sign at the entrance tells it all.

I went with the Black Bear Sampler, and this thing came out in a cast-iron skillet looking like breakfast had decided to show off. Eggs, ham, bacon, sausage gravy, grits, potatoes, biscuit--the whole works. And somehow, instead of being a giant pile of average food, everything was fantastic. That's what impressed me most. Plenty of places can make one great breakfast item. When you order a sampler this big, usually something gets left behind. Not here. Every part of it earned its spot in that skillet. The portions are huge, the food is excellent, and this is exactly what I picture when I think of a real Smoky Mountain breakfast: hearty, simple, and done right. I've eaten breakfast in a lot of places over a lot of years. This one is now the measuring stick. Absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to come back.

Maybe "pet tolerant", but not "friendly": - hostess was visibly & audibly afraid of dogs. We have two sweet chocolate labs, not exactly menacing creatures. Why in the world would you send a dog-fearing employee to get us seated? - we expected an offer of a water bowl for our pups. Nope. Had to find a server and ask for one. - the outdoor area we sat at is enclosed & gated. A door separates this outdoor area from the inside dining room. In spite of this, 10 minutes after being seated, a separate employee came out and simply said "do yall have leashes?" 1- of course we do, you saw us walk them in. 2- no greeting or "hey, I'm blah blah"... cold & impersonal. 3- why bother with the cost of a gated enclosure if pets have to be leashed anyway? We've been to many pet-friendly restaurants. You are NOT pet-friendly. You happily took our money for the meal, and added a 20% gratuity yourselves (which was not earned btw), but you barely did enough to accommodate our pups, let alone be considered "friendly". We didn't feel they were welcome, and certainly no "friendly" environment experienced. We won't be back. See how Calhouns defines "pet friendly". Y'all might learn something.
