Just ordered from here did a mobile order I got 2 ice blends one gingerbread with oat milk half decaf and the other a large hazelnut ice blend pick up time 11:53 I get there maybe a minute late than my pick up time and there's a car in front of me ,I was sitting behind them for a while I see the car in front also ordered ice blends and both drinks had dome lids and they didn't have whipped cream,I pull up,the girl at the window asked for my name I was handed to drinks with flat lids and no whipped cream, I asked the girl at the window if there was a reason on why my drinks didn't have whipped cream and then tells me it's because "it's a base order" like I knew what that meant , I then leave and check my order on my app I didn't request my drinks without whipp, and ice blends always have whipp unless they in out or request not to so my drinks were given to me watery and without whip cream read more

Favorite location I live in Downey and in Downey there's two locations, they can NEVER get my order correct. My order is: large iced hazelnut latte with dom scoop. One location tells me they've never heard of dom scoop/ second time they tell me they were charge me. I went to another Coffee Bean in the area to purchase my drinks and they messed up the first time so I went back later in the day when I got off work to have them remade and they messed them up again so I walked in the building and asked them personally to remake them one last time while I watched them , and again they messed them up. This location opened up on Monday, June 11th, 2018. When I showed up on the 14th, they weren't terribly busy but I could tell they were still getting the kinks out... I had a simple order and the cashier rang it up incorrectly. I noticed on my receipt the price was wrong and inquired. She stopped the team from making the wrong drink and got it corrected quickly, then they got me the right drink right away, I paid the difference and I was on my way. There was a strong managerial presence, which bodes well for this place. After all, they are all still in training. I think that this is going to be a very busy and very popular spot in this neighborhood. And I think they're going to do very well. They'll be much more popular than Burger King, which was what was here before. read more

The service was okay. They did call my name when I ordered a drink, bit it would be helpful if they put your name on the drink you ordered too, even if its not a mobile or drive-through order. One thing I did enjoy though was the fact that their store isn't as noisy as a Starbucks. There are more places/tables where you can get work done or read a book. They have several outlets for computers and phone chargers. Their store hours of operation are a bit late than most coffee shops as well which is much appreciated for those needing a late-night study spot. Overall, I will be coming back here. read more

I stop at this Coffe Bean and Tea Leaf every now and again on my way to work. I have no complaints about it as the location is super convenient for me. This morning I hit the drive thru for an Americano. I'm normally a boring dark roast drinker and felt like changing it up. Anyway, it was perfection. The BEST Americano I've had at any coffee shop. I've been here a few times, it's usually just okay. It's more convenient than anything else. However the line is always Atleast 15/20 minutes. This time I waited 20 minutes and got a cold chorizo burrito. Couldn't even eat it. I wasn't going to go back to have them warm it up again. The iced vanilla latte was pretty good. This Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is located at the former Burger King location, at the corner of Yorba Linda Blvd. and Rose Dr. near Placentia-Linda Hospital. When I visited on a Thursday morning, for the first time at this location, it was quite empty but I think it was because it was around 8:30 am in the morning. I liked that this location was empty and with plenty of seating so if one wanted to study there, there would be plenty of seats to choose from. With the small location, I could see how the drive thru could get real backed up because of the small parking lot. My brewed coffee was what I had expected. Smooth and strong. I did also order a coffee cake, but it was a bit too dry for my taste. Overall, good customer service and I was in and out within a few minutes. read more

I always have a positive experience at this location. My order is always made ready on time (I always mobile order). Anyway this morning I was running really late, but of course wanted my coffee fix, and place a mobile order. Upon arrival at the coffee bean, plumbing had gone out and the lobby was closed. I pulled into the drive-through that had several cars in it and got nervous that I'd be even more late. I told this to the drive-thru staff member, Daniel, and asked if someone could run it out to me. He said he would. I pulled a crazy person move and reversed out of the driveway and he ran it out to me. To me, he went above and beyond my expectations and deserves a shout out. I went to this coffee bean this morning around 10:15am. The location was busy so it took a while to get our order. When we got to the window we paid and still waited like 4-5 minutes. The girl at the window then gave me the order and I told her I asked for whip cream on the drinks. She looked bugged but went to add the whip cream. When she came back to the window I said thank you and I also asked for a cup of ice. She said "I only have two hands" as she walked to get it. When she gave me the ice I said I'm sorry what did you say? You only have two hands? She said yes but looked surprised I heard her. Then I told her that's very unprofessional and rude. After waiting in a long line I didn't expect to have someone mess up my order and then be rude. We won't be going to that location again. They lost our business. I placed my order this morning using the online app, picked it up without any issues and as I was driving to work while drinking my ice blended coffee, I felt a small piece of hair on my tongue.. I spit it out into my hand and thought, maybe it was just mine.. that somehow ended up in the drink (despite it having a lid and a thick layer of whip cream on top..) took a few more sips and felt ANOTHER piece of hair! I stopped drinking and waited until I got to work. Popped the lid off, scraped away the whip cream layer with a napkin and started stirring around with the straw ..saw multiple pieces of black hair in my drink come to the surface. (Check photo) It's really hard for me to believe this was an accident.. I just can't picture someone in the back brushing their hair over my drink. I'm so grossed out that I'll never go back..
