It's super cool inside year round, so dress warmly and bring some socks, a jacket, and a blanket (at least, that's what I would do). No ine greeted me or said hello but no biggie I've done customer service during the holidays and it's draining so no worries ,I ordered a midnight mocha no changes no swap outs nothin.. while I was waiting a young woman came in with her drinks and explained how the taste was off , the barista did not offer to remake it but simply explained that if they did it would taste the same . My drink tasted like old cigarettes and depression . It was very very very bitter and had a weird aftertaste. What I thought was going to be a treat turned into the RUDEST BARRISTA EVER! To the Caucasian barrista that is working now 12:15pm on 04/02/24. Your cashier is the one that gave you the wrong order! I clearly ordered the horchata and she told you Mocha! I didn't complain when you handed me the wrong order! Simply said I didn't order mocha it was Horchata. I am not sure why you than felt the need to start throwing things the blender lids, the new cups, or slamming the blenders in the counter! Totally unprofessional! You should have been mad at the other two girls because clearly their party they went to this weekend and discussing the Gorrry details of the fights and all the blood the one guy had because he got punched in the nose. And the story about the others mom and this data app she's on was more important than their customers and their work! But you should never be slamming shit irregardless! I hope your management reviews postage and fires all of you for being so rude and unprofessional! I come here to enjoy coffee an apply for jobs and love their Black Forest coffee drink and the pastries. Service is friendly and they have a veteran discount which I appreciate! Prices range depending on the drink but are on par with competition. I prefer Coffee Bean and Tea Lead for their comfortable furniture, superior coffee and the lack of drama that other large coffee shops can have. My only criticism is that they do not have more plug in areas for laptops or phones. read more

Visited yesterday to have some toasted bagels and coffee. They really need to have a system where they call your name when your order is ready. I observed Zoe place two bags each with a toasted bagel on the counter near the take out orders. I thought it was our order but an innocent man went over and opened the bags telling Zoe it wasn't his order. My husband went to inquire where our bagels were. She handed the bags (that the man put his hands in) to my husband. He told her that he didn't want them because the man had touched them. I heard Zoe argue to my husband that the man 'didn't touch' them. I saw it myself. She angrily dumped the bagels in the trash. She then made two more bagels but they were cold and hardly toasted so my husband complained that the bagels were cold and she was obviously angered again. Another employee stepped in and took care of our order. I must add that I've been going here for many years. Everything has gone downhill since Laura (manager for years) left. The place is always dirty, new employees aren't friendly and often their hair is hanging over what they're making. We no longer enjoy this place. Hoping corporate sees this. read more

We used to be regulars at the coffee bean . We quit coming frequently because it's A. So cold inside . Who wants to be in a freezing coffee shop and B. The place is dirty . Today my friend asked the cashier if it could be warmer and her response was well we get hot back here . Maybe she could take off the sweater or beanie ! All the tables were dirty and the trash cans full. The bathroom has no toilet paper and can was full in there as well . No paper towels either. It wasn't even busy! I love this place because the coffee is so much better than Starbucks coffee. There's a lot of tables and often, the seats aren't all taken so there is ample seating for everyone. My favorite is the ultimate extreme blended mocha where they add ground chocolate covered espresso beans, I get cravings for it, so good! I would also like to praise the baristas that we're working around 12:00 on 7/28/21 for handling the MAJOR Karen freak out about the hypothetically imperfect online ordering system that messed up her incredibly asinine and complicated drink. They handled her with grace and understanding where they probably should not have, as someone who has been a barista for over 10 years I wouldn't have NOT let someone talk to me the way that customer was.
