Actually, this is the correct store for my review!!! I am a VIP at Coffee Bean in LA off of Mednik & Third St. in ELA. I have a great relationship with the employees there. I went to the Coffee Bean in Temecula CA and OMG.. First they did not have my order complete. I ordered on-line before I got there and I had even called the night before to ask if they would have more Protein Boxes today. The Supervisor said yes. When I got there, they only had 2 of the four That I had ordered. The supervisor said they had only gotten 2. So ok, they refunded me for my other two. Then I ordered my drink. 32oz, 5 Mango, 2 Lemonade pumps with, peach orchard green tea and no Ice. Well, the supervisor did not pay attention and was making it with the usual Black Tea they make it with. I saw, and I let her know it was Peach Orchard Green Tea and not Black Tea. She then tossed it and started over. When she added the Ice, I said, "I said no Ice please." She looked at the screen and said, "You forget to mention that when you ordered." I then looked at the cashier and said, "I did mention no ice right?" He said, "Yes you did Im sorry." I then asked her to please redo it and she became upset, told her co-worker, "Do you want this, and the girl said yes." The supervisor who was making my drink then just walked away and had someone else do my drink. But when she walked away, she did it in a very rude way, not even excusing herself. Someone else took over and still it was done wrong. It was made with 5 Peach instead of Mango. I did not realize this until I tasted it after I had left. Long story short is that the Customer is always right and that your supervisor needs more customer service training along with an attitude check. The other employee apologized for the outcome but it should be the supervisor who sets the example. My drink is still wrong, so the customer lost in this case..... Not good at all... read more

I come here at least 3 times a week and every time one of the girls making the coffees is SO rude! I don't know her name but she is blonde and always has a horrible attitude and my coffee is almost never correct. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. It's 5 mins from my house and that's the only reason I still go to it. read more

Really love this location, and their coffee is better than Starbucks in my opinion. It's always clean and I've always experienced great customer service. Yesterday one of the baristas offered my fussy toddler a small portion of whipped cream with sprinkles, which helped calm him down. I thought it was really nice. Love the option when I've been in a rush, I order my latte over the phone and it's ready when I arrive. Great staff! Great coffee! You really can't open up the cash drawer to make change for a guest so they can tip out your staff? This isn't the first time she been ridiculous! It's all good. I will never be back. When this place went in (I wasn't even living in Temecula at the time), I praised the coffee gods that something besides Starbucks had made it to the Valley. Next time I was in town, naturally, I made this my #1 priority. Of course I had had drinks at Coffee Beans in other locations... but seeing how it made it to Temecula this was a special, nay, sacred event. Yes, I realize this is a chain. Yes, I realize that many would see it as "nothing special," a little overpriced even, but this coffee shop showed me the way of the Black Forest (basic ice-blended mocha, but with cherry and espresso beans--delish)) and the Pomegranate Blueberry Tea Latte. Yummm. And for these drinks I thank this chain and CB&TL will remain my favorite corporate coffee chain for years to come :) (also, check out the chairs by the door nearest Bank of America. Being anti Starbucks (hate how corporate it is and their coffee makes my tummy hurt) this is one of the only coffee places that I will go to. It sucks that it is so far from my home in Murrieta, but when I am in the area or close enough to make an excuse to go, I do! I finally found one in Temecula! Since I work in Temecula, it is very important that I have a CBTL near by.. especially during the winter when those awesome Winter Dream Tea Lattes come out! This CBTL is located in a great little shopping center next to a Jamba Juice. The location is clean and the staff is friendly and the drinks are made well. I've been to some CBTL where the drinks can taste a bit watered down.. but this one is spot on everytime I come! I am definitely willing to go out of my way to get my CBTL fix before work. I just wish they had some sort of frequent buyer program and app like Starbucks does.. read more

My favorite place for coffee and tea in Temecula! Their customer service is excellent and there are a couple who remember my favorite drinks and would prompt me with "did you want extra vanilla?" when I happen to forget. Can get really crowded on weekend mornings but still worth it to come in because they are always fast and friendly :) their tea lattes are excellent as well - in fact, I've been ordering the tea lattes more often than coffee lately. Yum yum yum! I especially love that they sell tins of their vanilla powder so I can attempt to make tea lattes at home too. read more

They got my order completely wrong twice and even charged me to remake the drink they messed up. My husband and I both got Cookie Butter Lattes, except I ordered no foam with whipped cream and he got it regular without whipped cream. Both drinks came with both foam and whipped cream. Also the drinks were cold...both of them...not even lukewarm. Why even have the person at the register take the order when the person making them completely disregards anything requested??? I always order a chai rooibos tea blended with vanilla powder and I came here to order and all three girls said that they "aren't allowed" to make it which is complete BS since I've gotten it made at every Coffee Bean I've been to with the exception of this place. i don't try many coffee places because i'm very picky, but decided to give coffee bean a try because i've lived next to it for a few years and have never considered it. I am so glad i went into coffee bean!! everyone there was so friendly and i got my order taken by a blonde girl and she was so nice even though the place was packed and all the employees were busy. i wasn't sure what to get as i've never been there, so i had her make whatever she wanted. i waited for maybe 3 minutes and i got a cookie butter coffee thing and it was honestly the best drink i've ever had!! way better than other places ! and they have so many different flavors and they have teas, it was way too hard to choose something, everything sounded so good .i even got complimented by a girl with pink hair and it made my day. definitely recommend coffee bean if you want a yummy drink and friendly baristas. 5 stars and my new favorite coffee place!!! read more

I actually used to be kind of against coffee shop chains, but I seriously love CBTL. I have been coming here for a couple of years and I have gotten to the point where the baristas knew me by name, which was an accomplishment for me... I've always wanted to go somewhere so often enough that I became remembered, especially since my name isn't easy for a lot of people to remember. Anyway, I love the staff there, they're always so friendly and they make you feel like they're your friend, which is good for me since I still experience some anxiety just placing an order for a cup of coffee! The atmosphere in there is very warm and welcoming and it makes you just wanna stay awhile, which you should! I have had many coffee shop talks with girlfriends, study and homework sessions (I feel incredibly productive in there), and even just lazy summer days where I would just sit and read a book for hours. And may I add that all of their drinks are amazing? My personal favorites are the Bali Blue Moon (whenever it's the dark brew of the day), Vanilla Iced Coffee, Jasmine Dragon (shortened the name of the tea) Tea Latte, and the White Chocolate Iced Blended drink. I have tried most of their menu, and even though I'm not much of a chocolate lover, their drinks involving that are still really good as well. I am going to miss this place dearly when I move out of Temecula, but you can bet that when I do come back to visit, I will always make a stop here at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf just to experience the nostalgia! read more

I have made this establishment part of my morning routine off and on for many years. The service has always been wonderful, the drinks piping hot, and the wifi free of charge. As a college student, it is always a treat to study somewhere other than my room, and this place provides not only fast wifi but comfy chairs and an ambiance easy to set aside for school. There is a Starbucks in the same shopping center, and yes, that is less expensive than the CBTL. However, it could not be less inviting. Hordes of cranky cyclists take it over in the morning hours, the line never seems to die down, and the drinks are often mediocre at best. Drive over to the Coffee Bean. You won't want to return to Starbucks ever again. read more

Since moving from San Diego I missed my Coffee Bean store. I never realized that this location existed. I was leaving Home Depot and found this little gem! My daughter and I love their Mucho Mango Blended Tea although its a bit pricy a large is $5.60 thats more than and SB board drink. My only wish is that the consistancy not change. Sometimes when we order the drink is too thick to sip though the straw. I have been to this location at least once a week since I discovered it last month and 2 of the 4 times the drink was too thick to sip and lacking to fill the entire cup. You would think that for $5.60 the entire cup would be full. PSSSSTTT! Cashiers have a smile on your face you are facing the public after all. read more

Normally this is our go to spot driving from the desert to San Diego and back. Unfortunately, today we wished we hadn't stopped here. Not only were they out of the tea I wanted, when I ordered my second choice I asked for Honey and lemon with my order. After charging us and getting our drinks, the barista informed me they were out of Honey. I asked for lemon. Out of that as well. If I knew a tea place couldn't accommodate my request for Honey and lemon I would have gone to Juice It Up and gotten a smoothie!! There is a grocery store right there as well. Go buy some! This is one of two outposts of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf here in the Temecula Valley. I know people who make an occasion of it and drive because they love their flavoring powders. I grew up going to the ones in LA and if there's no comparison. This is slower and the selection of pastries is smaller. (Tea & coffee selection seems about the same, though.) Slow service and high prices for what you get are the reasons I gave this place 3 stars. Their pastries are quite good though some aren't durable enough to last into the afternoon. (Which actually probably is a plus for them....more homemade?) Their croissants are good. They now offer an amazing decadent treat--Belgian waffle with Nutella. It's almost **too** much but it is so good - perfect to share with a friend. Cakes and other sweets are a bit sweet and rich/heavy. I'd rather have smaller slices with a lower price. I appreciate that they pay as much attention to the taste and variety of their teas as they do to the coffees. At many coffee places, tea is an afterthought. All of their teas are the same price and some of their varieties (especially green and white) are exceptional quality. It's a good opportunity to try something different for a much lower price than you'd get if you bought it somewhere loose to brew at home. They offer free wi-fi. (The access number is on the TV screen near where you stand to wait for your order.) Kid friendly. read more

The employees here are great, the drinks were really good and well made, I only have one complaint. My friend wanted to use her own reusable cup (a starbucks cup), to which the employees happily obliged. Trying to save the Earth here. The manager then came out, and told her that outside food and drink were not allowed, to which my friend replied that she had purchased the drink here, and then used her own cup. The manager said that she would have to put it into a single-use plastic coffee bean cup, which my friend and I are both ethically against. We agreed to not create a problem, but it was a pretty ridiculous overreaction seeing as we had purchased the drink here and are making our best effort to make ethical choices for the environment. Coffee bean needs to do better in their choice in management, and their ethical choices regarding single use plastics. We will go to starbucks next time, where they encourage all reusable products. read more

Giving this place a 3 star because my last two visits there haven't been pleasant. I went Saturday morning and my service was more then unwelcoming. The young blonde lady that greeted my friend and I was so unfriendly and really seemed like she was annoyed. We both ordered the same coffee the organic Mexican roast which was so bitter. I think the coffee was old and burnt. They made us a new coffee a latte which wax pure milk. I like coffee bean coffee usually more then Starbucks but won't be coming back because of the service. read more

I used to be committed to Starbucks, as a daily coffee drinker but now I am team Coffee Bean. The coffee is so much better, the rewards program is better and the prices are better, oh and the tea is better too. They also just launched their mobile ordering which I have used twice without issue. They are very friendly and some now know my name and drink order. The only thing Starbucks has on them is drive thru and number of locations but for me I'm not far from this location and I don't mind parking and getting out of my car. Parking is easy at this location and getting in and out of the parking lot is pretty easy too, unlike most the Starbucks that I have been to. So glad I made the switch! read more
