Possible great Tinder date location. The Coffee Press is located inside the Paseo Verde Library and couldn't be a more random coffee shop, but the espresso is still pretty good. The get their coffee beans from Mojave Java and Tea, a local coffee roasting company. The espresso tasted fresh, not bitter, and had that perfect soft foam on top. Yes, espresso should have light foam on top and shouldn't taste like burnt caramel. The green straw guys have it twisted. There's a small seating area here as well and a kitchen that's fully equipped for making sandwiches, toasted bagels, or serving hot sweet pastries. Why is this a great Tinder date location? It's brightly lit, it's cheap, and you can make a sneaky escape through the library if the situation calls for it. Tinder meet ups, espresso, and pastries; sounds like a solid Tuesday afternoon. read more

A coffee shop inside of a library, what's not to love?! This little joint goes above and beyond, offering both beverages and hot/cold foods, in addition to healthy snacks and even school supplies. There's ample seating and a community atmosphere, and none of the librarians make frowny faces when you take your coffee in with you to grab your books! Pay attention to the board out front with the specials- a recent peppermint mocha rocked my world, and they offer surprisingly hearty hot sandwiches considering their small space and reasonable pricing. read more

I love the dirty chai tea here!! My friend got a strawberry smoothly and it was very refreshing on a hot summer day here in Vegas. This quaint cafe is the perfect place to study or get a little something to eat while reading a good book. The workers are very nice and understanding, when I had a question they were happy to answer. They have free wifi and it's very fast. The air conditioning is works amazing and feels so nice after a hot day. I would sooo come back here with my friends and tell them about it! It's a perfect place to chill and get some work done. read more

This place is a great little local coffee shop tucked away in the Paseo Verde Library! The staff there is super friendly, I just wish they had more help! When I was in there there was only one person working and they had to do everything, coffee, smoothies, sandwiches, taking orders, everything. They were super nice and somehow managed to get everything out fast. I enjoyed my drink and I look forward to going back every time I'm at the library. read more

Wow this place is SO GOOD!! Definitely one of my favorites now! I must honestly say that their new Pinocchio Panini is the best sandwich I've ever had! I cannot express how profusely amazing it is! They must either have skill, a super good panini press, or both because the ciabatta has the perfect texture of crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. It has tomato, mozzarella that's like fluffy pillow clouds, lots of pesto, a bit of balsamic vinegar, and fresh basil. A must try!!! read more

i've ordered twice from doordash since it's recently been added and both times they seem to have messed up what i ordered, or i'm ordering incorrectly. i had ordered a delivery for a blended coffee with two added syrups, when it arrived the cup was half empty with what looked and tasted like a shot of espresso the two syrups and whip cream filling the emptiness. the first time i ordered a iced coffee and had to throw it down the drain it was just watery :( i live 0.5 miles away so it can't be that it melts on the way here. however the pastries are good lol!! read more

Come for the drinks if you're already at the library. Food is $$ and not worth it, in my opinion. I ordered a bagel pizza, a slice of pizza, and a BLT, a small soda, and a large iced matcha. Granted, I didn't check the total before paying, so it's my own fault, but I was charged for a whole 12" pizza. My total was almost $50. Pizza was subpar at best and there were only 5 precooked, thin bacon pieces on my BLT. If you're already at the library and want a drink or small treat, sure, stop in. But don't expect much as far as food goes. Not sure what I expected, but it was not what I got. read more

Came in to drop off some items at the library and realized I was STARVING! I looked at the sandwich menu and as soon as I saw the word "pesto" I knew that had to be it. The sandwich was delicious and the man who made it was very pleasant. I'll definitely be back. read more

It was slightly difficult since I'm not from this area of town. It's connected to the Paseo Verde Library so you see many people passing by and little kids too. I order the a blended mocha and the pressed Pinocchio Sandwhich with added turkey. My drink was ok, I've had better. My sandwhich as well was ok. It could've been pressed more to actually resemble a panini but other than that, it tasted pretty good. read more

I love that The Coffee Press is locates within the library. I was at the library studying for an exam with some girlfriends and I would come to The Coffee Press in the morning for a cup of coffee (yummy chocolate chip cookie free with Yelp check-in!). At lunch I would come here for a panini and their paninis are super good and fresh! Service is always great, the workers are so nice and accommodating. Will come back to study at the library just so I can eat here again and again! read more

One of our favorites. The coffee is ALWAYS great, the food is delicious (especially their Ruben), the treats are fresh and moist (our favorites are the bundt cakes, muffins and cookies). I gotta say our family prefers when the main guy is there (I think hes the owner and I feel bad for not knowing his name) because hes very helpful and courteous, but the other young employees are okay (I mean, we cant expect wonderful service from teens lol). Besides all of those I mentioned, my family and I love this coffee shop's environment as well - it's not too crowded, we can read our books right after we get them at the library, and it's mostly free of hippies and coffee snobs who think they know what good coffee is. We like this place a lot. read more

You would never guess that this awesome coffee shop is hidden just inside the doors of the Paseo Verde Library. What a perfect combo. Coffee and books! But Coffee Press has so much more then just coffee. They have sandwiches, bagels, fruit, pastries, and tons of other beverages. On this visit I just ordered an ice coffee and a cheese stick. The barista was sweet to ask if I wanted room for cream. She even warned me that the lids were being weird that day and to be careful. The coffee was brewed just right and didn't have that burnt taste that some places can have. I love the option of the cheese stick instead of a cookie, which they do have and they look delicious. They also have a protein box. Super convenient! The staff at the Coffee Press is always very talkative and friendly. Even though the space is small there are a variety of places to sit and relax. They also have outdoor seating! What a great place to sit, drink your coffee and read your book that you just borrowed from the library. I'll be back for the excellent coffee and to try one of their yummy sounding sandwiches. read more

Cool little café a minute walk from my work. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting and they have a variety of snacks and lunches. I don't drink coffee or teas but they have a large selection that my coworkers enjoy. The black and white cookies are my favorite and are always good. Their homemade sandwiches aren't too shabby either, although they can be a little pricey for what they are. read more

Employee who took my order was not very friendly at all and honestly just acted like my presence was an inconvenience. I really don't go to Dutchbros because I hate that they talk so much so I know if I think they're unfriendly... they're probably really unfriendly. She hands me my drink and I go to get a straw, she says they're completely out of straws in a snarky tone... as if straws are convenience... the lids are NOT sip lids? The manager needs to go to the store and probably get some straws or have sip lids if you're gonna have to-go cups. Not to mention the order took a solid 10-15 minutes (which is fine) but there is literally like 3 people working the place and 2 customers lol. I've seen a single girl in the target Starbucks handle a line 4x as long in the same time. I study at the library a lot so it was convenient but I'll definitely just got get my coffee elsewhere before hand. 2 stars because the coffee tasted fine. read more

My two favorite things together: coffee and books! The staff is always super friendly and the coffee is great. I'm a black drip coffee person, so I can't speak for how their lattes taste, but imagine they are good as well. Their assortment of pastries, sandwiches, and snacks is surprisingly large considering how small of a cafe it is. Overall, I've been extremely happy with the quality of service, drinks, and food. read more

Such a good spot!!! It's in the library, really easy to access and has an entrance outside of the library. Good coffee, pretty good pastry, and tbd on the breakfast sandwich. The young lady at the front was so sweet!! The atmosphere was nice they were playing jazz and the place was pretty busy. This place is definitely a hidden gem. read more

Service is great and attentive. I came here thinking I could have some lunch and then work on some stuff for work (via wifi), but turns out they don't have free wifi - which is my reasoning for 4 stars instead of 5. For wifi, you would have to get a library barcode with a password. I had the Melville Tuna on marble rye which was good and made it a combo with an iced tea and chips. It was $8.65 without tip. It's a really cute little place that I thought would work, but as there was no wifi, I had to leave after lunch to search for other options. read more

Thankful this coffee shop is attached to the Paseo Verde Library. After three hours of homework you know a girl can get hungry. I got the pesto sandwich (tomatoes, cheese, pesto sauce and Italian seasoning) with a small coffee. Their espresso machine was down, but that's ok! I got a regular coffee with hazelnut syrup. I love how they have various game boards to play with. Also, if you forgot your writing supplies, paper etc, they sell pens, pencils, paper and more as well! read more

The woman who took his order stated to argue with him that it was made correctly, while the guy who made the order admitted that he didn't think he made it right. Made it again, but still didn't seem right, but not as sweet. As a former Starbucks barista, it's disappointing to see the terrible customer service from this woman that I'm assuming was possibly a manager since we found out she was training 3 brand new employees. So I suppose she was miserable and grumpy because of that? Just unfortunate that they are all getting training from someone as miserable as she. You never argue with a customer, if a drink didn't taste right, you simply remake it! Even at the end of our transaction she came off snarky she said something I didn't understand and smiled, but I could tell it wasn't meant to be kind and wasn't genuine. My fiance had even asked her earlier how her day was and she rolled her eyes. Just very sad that I've worked in customer service my entire life, and regardless of how busy an establishment is, I still take the time to speak to every customer who has questions, slow down so they understand me, and treat them with kindness and compassion. Not be impatient and frustrated, even if you're having a rough day, you don't have to take it out on everyone else. Needless to say we will not be going back, I'm disappointed that the sf flavors are lacking but, if we are in area, it wouldn't be the end of the world. If I wanted to be treated with such rudeness and pay for it, I'd go to Dick's Last Resort.

The menu is very large, but I still don't think I'd be willing to go back and try another to see if it was maybe an off day or if there are better drinks.

I initially went to the Coffee Press to receive my Yelp Elite complementary iced latte, but ordered quite a bit more. First, I absolutely loved that it was attached to the local library. Upon arrival, we noticed a few people in line and others occupying the tabletops, with guests frequenting the shop the entire time we were there. There is limited seating indoors, and some seating outdoors. Though I was tempted by the coffee flight, we ultimately opted for my complimentary iced agave latte, blended cookie dough, cinnamon swirl muffin, pound cake, espresso cookie, and breakfast sandwiches. Considering my lingual braces, I chose softer pastry items. The espresso cookie was delightful with the chocolate melting as you broke the cookie in half. The cinnamon swirl muffin was both moist and bursting with flavor. I regretted not saving the pound cake to enjoy it later with some cool whip and strawberries. While I didn't personally try the bagel breakfast sandwiches, they looked filling, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed them. He ended up savoring them throughout the day. A really neat little place that I had no idea existed until I went into the Paseo Verde Library and found it right at the entrance. They make as tasty a latte as I've had anywhere else, and when I was there, which was about 9:30-10am on a Sunday morning, it wasn't busy at all. It was very relaxing -- grabbed a latte and pastry and hung out for a little browsing through the LVRJ, magazines and other info that was lying around the shop. They have a large variety of hot and cold drinks including fresh roasted exclusive coffee blends, espresso drinks, iced coffee, and smoothies. There is free WIFI with the library password. I was running some errands in the mall and remembered there was a cute little crepe station at the…read moreentrance of the food court. So I decided to treat myself and made my way over. I was sad to see it was gone... but when I walked past the food court entrance to the main food court, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the crepe place had actually expanded! The crepe I got today (Nutella) was actually even better than what I remember the crepes being. The place itself was very clean, and the service was also very quick and friendly. I walked up to the register, placed my order, and within a few minutes, I was able to pick up my delicious crepe, complete with napkins and utensils. The crepe itself was so good! The perfect amount of Nutella (not at all stingy like some crepe places can be, and also not over-the-top) and the outside of the crepe was perfectly soft and a subtle bit chewy. Honestly, I would come back to this mall just for the crepes, lol!
