My co-workers decided to get matcha and coffee during our lunch break. It was Tuesday afternoon around 12:30, the cafe appeared busy. The interior looked simple and small, yet clean. Blackberry Cobbler Latte, iced | The coffee was average. The taste appeared too synthetic with a subtle hint of alcohol residue. It wasn't a pleasant experience. Matcha Latte, iced | Something might have happened over time with the matcha powder brand or how it was kept. The matcha latte used to be decent and better than most coffee shops. However, this time it was truly terrible. The beverage looked pale yellow green color with clumps of matcha powder and tasted rotten for some reason. It was impossible to finish, unfortunately :( Service: The baristas were nice. Since the cafe was busy, it took about 10 minutes for the orders to come out, which was a decent time for peak hours.

Great location and plenty of outside seating with minimal inside seating. Inside can feel pretty crowded even with just a couple people in there. Got an iced latte which was basically just flavored milk especially because they do 1 shot for a small and 2 for a medium and large which is not worth the money really. I got a medium and said half sweet which was still pretty sweet. Additionally, the girls working only offered 2% milk option and said they were out of whole milk, however, they still had all the other non dairy options and half n half. Disappointing experience.

    Indoor seating and tables.

I hosted a meetup at the coffee press, and I was extremely satisfied with the whole process. The owner, Bobby, is very responsive to emails and was very generous answering all of my questions. The issue with my event was that I wasn't quite sure how many people would attend, so I had a few options on timing and logistics. The coffee press worked well for my meet up because there is both indoor and outdoor seating. Folks also have the opportunity to go into the library if they need to, but luckily for my event it never got too crowded. The owner reserved tables for me and stayed in communication with me throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend this venue for hosting an event or just a place to grab a coffee/tea and chill (I've done both). I also enjoyed trying their different sandwiches. If you'd rather just attend an event here, check their calendar because they frequently host writing and reading meetups as well as other types of meetups.

Shhhh, you want me to share a secret with you ? No, you're not ready ! Ok here's the secret, "a coffee shop," inside the library! You have heard this one right . And it's awesome . Books, caffeine, little things too munch on. The knowledge of reading and how it affects your life . Let's make our brains grow and we have caffeine too. The atmosphere here is utter joy and love. The barista and coffee shop are magic. Come and try a latte in whatever form that your used too ! Make sure and order it in glass for here . They serve it in a mug for here . That warmth of the coffee succumbs and takes your mind on a wicked journey. Take my hand and let's go see where we end up. Remember in the journey of life it's yours just take a breath and embrace it. Knowing is what matters! Use your wisdom and caffeine wisely. Here we go. Thank you to the team here for keeping us happy and healthy with the best of caffeine and snacks. Great energ

I have eaten many scones before but this one was very unique. It is a MUST have. The Barista, Britney was very kind, friendly and helpful. She knew exactly what I wanted (great listener), I didn't even really looked at the menu but she figured out what I was craving for! The cafe was a perfect place to study or to hangout. Much better than Starbucks! 5 STARS

Everything went well!, once you walk in, you feel really welcomed and that feeling doesn't go away along the experience; I wanted to try their signature drink: Blue Agave Latte however I decided on a Dirty Chai that had the right amount of spicy and sweetness that I really liked. We had a spectacular croissant and we also saw people having a variety of them. Next time I will definitely try an Affogato and maybe a Grilled Cheese Sándwich. Everyone was friendly, paying attention to what we needed and also they do have an exterior área so it gives you the freedom to stay in or out. We tried both and it was great!, also we took a little tour to the library and we will definitely come back.

I went into the coffee press this morning, and I had questions as I always have questions when there are multiple possibilities of something on the menu that I like. I saw one of their specials, the agave coffee that they have and a banana split latte which sounded amazing on the window. When I went in and asked questions they were very helpful in helping me to determine which would fit my pallet better and I was very grateful for their honesty. I am a sweet coffee drinker and that banana split latte did not disappoint. It was very delicious and you could taste the banana in it. I also had the chocolate chip cookie with espresso on top and it was so warm and gooey. It was amazing. The coffee shop had a feel of what a coffee shop should be and it's very friendly and open even though it's on the smaller side. I'm glad I stopped at the Paseo library and found this little gem.

atmosphere is great for inside the library, wonderful snack options for kiddos and adults who are looking to enjoy a treat whilst checking out a book from the local library! service was exceptional! they also support small local business which is great!

Cute shop, awful coffee. Cashier was friendly, area was messy and not busy. Coffee came out watered down with a burnt taste.

Perfectly toasted bagel, plenty of cream cheese, Grandma's Cookie Latte

This place is far above any of the chain coffee shops - and their prices can't be beat. Love their reading events and their writing events, and it's a great place to bring a laptop to hangout for a bit.

I didn't see it on the menu and asked the woman working at the counter what SF flavors they had, she came off very short and said "we only have vanilla". So I took a few seconds to decide what to order since that was my only option she seemed very impatient. Then while I was trying to order an iced latte she cut me off and said "iced caramel latte" I told her no, I wanted sugar free, then she said "fat free milk okay?" I asked what other milk options she had, she rushed everything so quickly that I could barely understand her. She was talking way too fast o thought k was talking to an auctioneer, and just seemed way too impatient for my and fiancés liking. Our order came up and my fiance had ordered sf vanilla as well, we both tried his drink and it tasted overly sweet compared to mine. So he went back and asked if it was made correctly. The woman who took his order stated to argue with him that it was made correctly, while the guy who made the order admitted that he didn't think he made it right. Made it again, but still didn't seem right, but not as sweet. As a former Starbucks barista, it's disappointing to see the terrible customer service from this woman that I'm assuming was possibly a manager since we found out she was training 3 brand new employees. So I suppose she was miserable and grumpy because of that? Just unfortunate that they are all getting training from someone as miserable as she. You never argue with a customer, if a drink didn't taste right, you simply remake it! Even at the end of our transaction she came off snarky she said something I didn't understand and smiled, but I could tell it wasn't meant to be kind and wasn't genuine. My fiance had even asked her earlier how her day was and she rolled her eyes. Just very sad that I've worked in customer service my entire life, and regardless of how busy an establishment is, I still take the time to speak to every customer who has questions, slow down so they understand me, and treat them with kindness and compassion. Not be impatient and frustrated, even if you're having a rough day, you don't have to take it out on everyone else. Needless to say we will not be going back, I'm disappointed that the sf flavors are lacking but, if we are in area, it wouldn't be the end of the world. If I wanted to be treated with such rudeness and pay for it, I'd go to Dick's Last Resort.

There wasn't much seating available, as the cafe was quite full, and there were a lot of people doing work. Definitely more of a spot for 1-2 people, as there weren't any tables that could accommodate 3 when we went. I asked the staff for a recommendation, so I got the vanilla latte based off of that. I was excited to try this spot since there were many good reviews, though perhaps my expectations were too high. The first thing I check for in an iced latte is the bottom of the cup to see if there are any burnt grounds. To my disappointment, there were, so I knew the espresso wasn't going to be very smooth. Though, I couldn't even taste it. I prefer a strong espresso taste, but all I could taste was the milk with a weak aftertaste of watery espresso. The others in my group got matcha, and they also tasted of milk and syrup with barely any matcha flavor. Overall I don't plan on going back since the drinks we had were disappointingly mid. The menu is very large, but I still don't think I'd be willing to go back and try another to see if it was maybe an off day or if there are better drinks.
