Been here a few times. Food and service was great. Decent price for breakfast. Definitely coming back.

We stopped here for breakfast based on the reviews here on yelp and to be honest... I am so glad I did! The decor is really nice... comfy but not old... the waitstaff was amazing! Then there is the food... so tasty! The bacon was crispy without being dried out... my daughter is a vegetarian and the chef came out to our table to let her know he had just sliced some salmon and would make her some salmon benedict... she said it was the best shes ever had. Steak Benedict was awesome and the French toast cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back! read more

Tried this place cause it was fairly new in the area. Cute atmosphere, clean, modern and spacious. However, the food took a very, very, very, very long time. Waitress never checked in with us after initial coffee and juice when we sat down. After 45 minutes asked waitress where our food was and she came back and said it would be another 10 minutes. We ended up walking out! Service was terrible! Reviews are mixed on this place which leads me to believe inconsistent service. read more

Just got back from having breakfast at The Connection Cafe! It was delicious! The new space is amazing! Super clean and spacious! WAAAY better than the old place. What a difference! We were greeted by a super nice hostess who told us our wait was 15 minutes we were seated exactly in that time to a super comfortable booth. The menu's are really neat in a black background in white writing..LOVED THEM! It take a bit to get our food..However, it was Sunday morning around 9:30. Our waitress was very friendly. I had banana nut pancakes and they were HUGE!!! I couldn't finish them..They were fantastic. My boyfriend had eggs benedict and he loved them.. read more

Always a good meal there owner is trying to go full service also for the night crowd but the breakfast is know for it's business hence the name I wish them the best of luck on their new adventure the server are great new peeps they'll get it some of the old staff are there would recommend this place it's always been cozy even in the new location. read more

I have to change my review from 5 starts to zero stars. The service in this place is the worse ever. I went there for breakfast over the weekend. The waitress looked at us , no greeting or nothing. We got seated our self. She came after a while to take the order. Bottomless Coffee is more like no coffee. Gossips waitresses they do nothing but talk. I hope Susan can do something about this. Treat others as in the same way you would like to be treated. There's a couple reasons this place is even getting two stars. 1. I love the industrial look of the building for a restaurant. 2. The food was actually okay. But the employees weren't even on the same caliber. I work in the customer service industry as well and if I did what she did, I would've been fired & sued five times over. I've never gone to this restaurant until my wife suggested this morning after her and her mother recently went and had amazing service and she loved the food. So I finally agreed and decided to go and try them and once we got there we were immediately greeted by Leanne B. a waitress who treated us horribly. She not only mistreated us, but ignored us the whole time we were there. Then came the time when we were done with our food. We sat waiting about ten minutes, her gazing right at us, with me raising my hand so we can get the check and get her attention, but nope. She would go over to the bar, have a chat with one of the workers, go on her phone, go on FB and talking to other tables besides ours. We had to wait for someone walking by so we can ask for the check. Leanne brought the receipt over and plopped it on the table and grabbed our plates. We proceeded to keep waiting another ten minutes before my wife got upset and walked up with my card to pay it. We were the only interracial couple there and was promptly placed in the back. This isn't okay. This led us to being frustrated with how we were treated to result us in having to put up a horrible review & we NEVER have! read more

Very chaotic in terms of who gets served. Certainly not as you were seated. They don't even know what tables they have. The hostess gave us coffee but then we were ignored. Try this place if you have all day. read more

My husband and I went back for the second time, well it went downhill a bit. First, I ordered a veggie omelette with turkey sausage "on the side", which I repeated twice. My omelette came, after quite a wait and my "veggie omelette " had my sausage "inside". I will go back because I think they are still working their way around. read more

This is our third time here as we try to support local businesses. The first time, great! The second time everything took forever, the order was wrong and the food came out cold. This is now the third time and I'm with my 11 year old niece. Well we waited over 5 minutes just for someone to come to our table to offer a drink. His second drink came out with no ice so we were given a side of ice. The waitress told us two different reasons as to why our food was late. Then the owner came over and gave us some story about why it was late. When I told her we'd been there for almost an hour, her response was, well you didn't order your food then. It's breakfast! I should be in and out of there within an hour. We were offered a side of fruit/cinnamon bun initially but that's just ridiculous. Our food arrived an hour after we had been seated and we were comped our food but by then my fiancé had lost his appetite and didn't bother to eat. The waitress was nice and the manager tried, but 3 strikes and I'm good. I'm so disappointed as I do like the atmosphere of the place but we will not be returning given this last experience. read more

Best breakfast place around! The omelets are huge and filled to the brim! I originally found them because they were one of the only places around that offers chicken and waffles (the best southern breakfast next to biscuits and gravy). The chicken and waffles are delicious and served with cinnamon sugar butter. Yum! They also serve hash browns which is awesome since not many places do (they're delicious too!) The staff is always super friendly and attentive. Tons of options and it's cheap too! read more

Well, I have always enjoyed going to the Connection for breakfast. I recommend it to everyone near and far. The food is always cooked to perfection. Especially, the Eggs Benny. Today, I took my mother for breakfast. We were able to be seated quickly. I observed that staff talking with I would believe to be family members/close friends in the middle of the restaurant. They were picking the kids up, going outdoors and not once did I see them wash their hands from the transitions. My mom and I were not in a hurry, however, we were not anticipating on waiting over half an hour for our breakfast. While my coffee was getting cool and low I observed our waitress eating off her customer's plate-again, no hand washing....my coffee still cool and low. She kept saying oh, couple more minutes, couple more minutes-but not re-filling our drinks. On a positive note-our food was delicious as always and warm. When I go to eat, I like to observe professionalism and cleanliness. I will go back, but I hope that I will observe professionalism, timeliness and a clean working environment of the staff. read more

Put this in your GPS and get to this place! Unfortunately, the signage (or lack of) makes it a bit difficult to locate but it's well worth the searching! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service and reasonably priced, delicious food! What more can you as for? After a while we won't need the signs, we'll be back! read more

We went here for dinner last night. As someone else stated in a review, the space is quite large, so you could definitely go on a first date, or a romantic date, in general, and have lots of privacy. We were very impressed with the service. Our waitress was so kind and friendly and she really wanted to make sure we were happy with our meals and having a great time. My husband left his reading glasses at the restaurant and she was so nice to come out into the parking lot looking for him. In addition, to great service, we enjoyed our teriyaki wings and our entrees. I got the baked haddock -- it was stuffed -- and extremely delicious. I liked the way it was presented and they gave me so much, there was plenty to share with my husband. My husband got the marinated steak tips and enjoyed them. This place is an awesome restaurant for you if you enjoy waiting 15 minutes for your server to come to your table to take a drink order, eating an omelet completely covered in cooking oil and potatoes (or as they call them "home fries") that taste like cardboard. Never going here again! read more

I've lived in many states, and out of all of them, the worst restaurant I've ever been to is The Connection Cafe in Holbrook, Massachusetts. One Sunday, I invited my family there to lunch. We waited 20 minutes until the waitress finally came to take our order. It took an hour and fifteen minutes to finally get it to us: a hot dog with over-fried chips full of fat (that gave me the runs and a stomach ache), a tuna "salad" sandwich (the tuna literally straight from the can and without any flavor whatsoever), and a flavorless grilled chicken sandwich. When we asked why things were taking so long, they explained that they were attending to a group meeting in the other room, and that the cook was new. I felt that I wasted my time and money on such horrible food and bad customer service. I don't recommend this restaurant to anybody, and from the reviews I've seen, this is a recurrent problem responded to with the same excuses. read more

The place is clean and bright. There was no wait @ 11:15 I was greeted very cheerfully and was seated promptly. The waitress was friendly. The food was okay. The sausage links were very poor quality and seemed to be deep fried.My friend had an omelet which was very dried out with bacon bits (an extra $1.00) I live about 10 minutes away and will not be in a hurry to return. read more
