Don't wear classy clothes and eat here. This is a get your hands gooey with butter and messy with crab meat if this is your desired course of action. I believe I received a great value for what I paid. Some may not feel that way but I live in a land locked state not close to the ocean. The food here was fantastic. We didn't order the top tier crab boil pot but purchased the next tier. I left more than happy, more than satisfied, and more than willing to come back. I ordered the four piece fish and chips, a bowl of clam chowder, and shared the snow crab and dungeness combo with my boyfriend. This time around, my father remembered the place fondly and we went in at his request. The place is cute and located in a very touristy and pretty area. The feasts are somewhat convoluted. They are the pricier options on the menu but the portions are undersized and you are forced to get 2 feasts in order to get them. It was a little frustrating when only one of us wanted the feast but felt like we would have to get more than we wanted and pay more than desired. I was hired as a vocational counselor for a major insurance company. The benefits to employees were many.The pay was great. Unfortunately, I was responsible for cutting off benefits to vulnerable individuals. I hated this. However, you had such a complete view of the waterfront. We had a party of 10 people. We had our own server. Starting out, since it was on the company's dime, people ordered drinks. Lots of drinks. Plus crab cakes and sourdough bread. Crab cakes were quite good, not too heavy on the filler. To capture this moment, think of a warm Seattle late afternoon. Beautiful scenery. Great food and drinks. Unique setting. Really, it was wonderful. My boss insisted that everyone get the royal crab feast. I'm all for it. There are some naysayers in this group bonding. Some don't want any kind of seafood. Some want something different. Boss is adamant about everyone experiencing a crab boil. Never had this type of dilemma before, most of my acquaintances gladly accept any form of free food. Sadly, some decline my bosses generosity. This makes her visibly upset and she pouts for the rest of the meal. I try to uplift her mood, by overalls praising her choice. And stuffing myself. My boss continued to sulk, due to the lack of enthusiasm by my teammates. What a special meal and generous selection of seafood. Crab was great, large portions. Came with a variety of Alaskan crab. Being combined with potatoes, corn, shrimp and andouille sausage, gave all the ingredients complex and delicious taste. Service was lovely. The outdoor seating, setting sun and great service made for a memorable meal. There was a huge amount of leftovers. These were boxed up. To my boss's disappointment, many did not opt to take the leftovers home with them. I estimate I took more than six pounds of delicious crab boil home with me. There were numerous dessert orders of their Mudd pie and after dinner drinks. I was too full to have Mudd pie, but those who ordered it, loved this dessert I saw the bill and it was close to 2,000.00 dollars. Speaking of food, she did let me know that the difference between the kids and adults burger was all the toppings so I ordered my son the kids size. I got clam chowder soup. It was ok but I've had better on this trip alone. I then had the bucket of muscles for my dinner. They were cold. Literally the first one I pulled out right after it was placed on the table. The bread was decent but the bottom was overcooked so that stunk. I don't think I will be coming back in the future unless the quality of the food and the service gets better. We recently came here on a chill Sunday afternoon before heading to the movie theater at Pacific Place, and we loved our experience. We had been hesitant to come here thinking it's a tourist trap but after living in the city a few years we finally caved and regret not coming sooner. It is a cute place, and the food was good value. We ordered the Westport Feast for Two and it was just enough for the two of us, we were pretty full on just this. I guess if you're still hungry, they have a bunch of entrees, starters, desserts, etc..you can supplement. I liked that you can also order "add-ons" in case you want to add to each of the feasts, and they were running a special the day we went, which they often do. I've only been to one other seafood boil in the past & it was in Northern California, so I may not have a ton of experience with seafood boils, but we still felt the quality was okay for the price. There are several high-end places in the city, like Cutters and others, but this place is at the cheaper price point and average in flavor. If you really want high quality, this might not be your best option. This could be the place if you wish to get your feet wet. I'm big on mussels and clams, and the flavor wasn't entirely there for these; you can tell they were a bit oversteamed in some instances, but the Snow crab and Dungeness crab were the stars of the show. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty these were. Next time we come here, we think we will primarily order crab entrees since we liked it in the boil. This place hit the craving spot, and I can see us casually walking in again in the future.
