Shrimp were all decently sized, really fresh, and easy to peel. Sauce was a little lighter and thinner than the Boiling Crab sauce, and not as garlicky, but still tastes pretty good. Overall, it was a pretty decent experience and everything we ordered was up to our expectations of a Cajun/Creole seafood restaurant. When you walk in it's like an oven. The staff was disconnected from the start. One girl try to seat us the male at the door told her no and made us wait 10 minutes. It is located in the Tozai plaza in Gardena, and it may take some time to find a parking spot especially during busy hours as there are many other eateries in this plaza. My wife and I decided to order their combo #2 which consists of snow crab legs (1lbs), clams (1bs), and Mussels (2lbs). Their presentation is very unique, and at the same time, the food is plenty and very very delicious. We had some left overs to take back home, so this combo may serve up to 3 people if they are not a heavy eater. We also tried their Fruity Booty (Green tea with Mango Strawberry and Peach). Another unique presentation as it looks like smoke is coming out from the drink jar (dry ice???); nevertheless, the sweet drink complemented very very well with our spicy food. I came in on a Wednesday, during rainfall, it wasn't a complete full house but it stayed busy with people dining in and coming for pickup orders. Parking in this lot is always crazy, it has other food places and the parking is always packed but most of the time you will get a spot but you'll have to walk a short way from the lot to the building. The customer service was good, everyone kept checking on me and asking if I needed anything, not just my server. I got free Yelp checkin Cajun fries. The fries were really good, and got a good amount for it to be free. I ordered the garlic butter with mild spice flavoring on my snow crab, and the Crab Shack style with mild spice on my peeled shrimp. I can not express how excited I was to have found this place randomly. So, stopped by here for a friends birthday and as usual were seating pretty quickly ( they do take reservations which is great). The food here gives this place the final 5th star for me. It is not your typical spot like the main chain we would normally go to ( BCrab) , it is that plus more flavor, more options, but faster services and great service. The staff here is great, very attentive, they are very nice and very helpful with any questions you have. Our waiters both times have been detailed and on top of servicing us during our stay. The options here are plenty and you avoid the 2 hr long wait and the sometimes forgetfull staff at that other place. This place may not get that busy but it helps give their customers top of the line service which I enjoy. The food is also very tasty, so many sauces to chose from. I use to love coming here but after my experience yesterday I am highly disappointed.. The customer service was terrible and on top of that I found out my favorite server Cristina no longer works there. She always provided exceptional service and made my experience amazing each time.
