I cannot wait to return! Food came out really fast. The restaurant is nice but not pretentious. They offer outdoor dining, too. The outdoor area has heat lamps and a rustic feel, too. They offer a variety of options to get your alcoholic drink on, but since I don't drink and wasn't in a mood for a Diet Coke, I stuck w/ water. We came around 1 which is not ideal to me, but you can order lunch or breakfast! There were a few dishes that I wanted to try but the server sold me on the chilaquiles w/ the green sauce. I wanted my eggs runny... and they did prepare it perfectly! The green sauce was light and very smooth. The pickled red onions were great to balance out the saltiness of the cotija cheese. The potatoes were soft but weren't soggy. It was a bit weird that it came w/ a few pieces of pinto beans only because I would rather have Mexican rice and beans as opposed to the country potatoes, but don't get me wrong. The potatoes were excellent. The appetizer which came out first, the meatballs. It was tender, the sauce tangy. When enjoying this dish, we brought up all of the places we have been that serves mean meatballs. We both agreed that this place makes pretty bomb meatballs. We've been here a few times and had different dishes every time. I had their special, which is the spare ribs chilaquiles. It was good, I did feel like it was missing something, but I can't pinpoint what that could be. Maybe a side of lime wedges or pico de gallo. Not sure. The staff was also friendly and came to check on us often. Had a quick chat with the owner and he seemed super friendly. First time at The Creek Eatery and we had a real nice lunch. This cute restaurant is perfect for a date night or lunch. They have a nice patio area, which is great for when the weather is nice. I had the Fried Chicken Salad which was one of the best I have ever had. Perfectly breaded and crispy. It had the right amount of coleslaw. Too many places put too much and it takes away from fried chicken. The garlic fries were just ok. The BBQ chicken pizza was very good as well. Our service was great and very accommodating when we wanted to switch tables. We will definitely be back, especially for that Chicken Sandwich. read more

Absolutely had a hankering for seafood pasta they did not disappoint. We started with calamari and a green salad. The salad dressing was superb the calamari was straight to the point. I had an angry bastard beer it complemented the appetizers. We had the seafood pasta which contained shrimp, mussels, salmon seafood was plentiful. There was also shrimp pasta that had plenty of shrimp with broccoli and carrots. The wait staff was very attentive even though they were having a retirement party. New Management!! I've been coming to the creek eatery since I first opened. I live up the hill and we love coming here for the breakfast pizza! We stopped in the other day and saw that they have a pretty extensive brunch menu now. SAY LESS! We ordered the mimosa flight, lunch special (2 salads and a pizza for $25), crab avocado Benedict, waffle combo, and yogurt parfait. Everything was very very good. On a Sunday morning, we were taking a nice drive through the Silver Creek neighborhood, admiring the nice houses up in the hills, and drove by this nicely placed shopping center, where we found The Creek Eatery. We decided to venture in and give them a try! I was in the mood for steak and eggs and my wife wanted to try their short rib omlette. I'm a sucker for corned beef hash, so I added a side , to see how theirs was made. They offer complimentary refills on their iced tea so I ordered a glass. The food came out quickly! The portions are pretty healthy. My eggs were cooked perfectly and my country potatoes were seasoned deliciously. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that my steak was cooked well done when I asked for it to me medium. Because the steak was well seasoned, I did not bother our server to remake it. My wife finished the entire omlette and informed me that it was something she would definitely order again. When the corned beef hash side landed on the table, I was a bit shocked at the way it looked...... I'm used to the canned stuff just being fried, but this was actual chunks and shreds of corned beef cooked with onions and bell peppers, and it was my favorite dish that day!! Our server was to notch. He was on top of everything. I never had to ask for refills on my ice tea, plus he visited several times asking us of we needed anything. This place has the best lamb burger that I have ever tried in american restaurants! It was not just minced lamb meat, but the patty had spices and tasted like kabab meat and was so juicy!! The food is fresh and very flavorful without being overly salty. We've been here for lunch several times recently and always enjoyed them. Today the calamari was a bit rubbery, and we only had a few bites, but we didn't say anything. To our surprise, when we checked out, the waiter told us they noticed it wasn't up to their standard and had removed it from our bill. What a pleasant surprise! Lava cake dryer than the Sahara dessert. Pretty sure the point of a lava cake is to undercook the center so it spills out, cake came out in under 2 minutes which I KNOW means it's microwaved. And it came with a pathetic side of whipped cream. Lame burger, sorry I mean lamb burger, was... well lame. Bun was stale. Giant chunk of feta cheese, that wasn't warm or covered the whole patty. Solid 3 stars for me. We came in and were seated in the back room which was really special and nice as we were celebrating my boyfriends graduation. For appetizers we got the calamari and Brussels sprouts. The Brussels were AMAZING, I loved them. The calamari was good but the portion was small and I was a little put off that the ramekins were the paper kind that you get at sporting events. For lunch we all got lunch specials which comes with two salads and a pizza for $26 - overall a good deal. Salads are a great size. The mixed greens salad was noticeably better than the Cesar salad. We got two pizzas that the server recommended. Both of them were supposed to come with Italian sausage but I'm 99% sure they put chorizo on there instead. I've had Italian sausage so many times and this wasn't it! Also one of the pizzas specified Kalamata olives but had black olives. I liked the crust of the pizza but overall the chorizo killed the flavor. Service was just okay. We were auto grated but didn't get a refill on our waters for the entire meal and had to get up and go to the cook line to ask for cheese, peppers and the check. This place is right near my house so my family always likes coming here for Friday or weekend dinners! We came here around 1PM on a Thursday to eat at their lunch special. The special is a great deal with 1 pizza + 2 side salads for only $26. We got the breakfast pizza which is my personal favorite and it's very consistent here! The Caesar salad is also really refreshing and crisp--I like how the dressing isn't so heavy. For an appetizer we got the sweet potato fries as well. The host was okay he seemed kind of short with us which was a little unfortunate. However, our server was really nice! My mom requested no bread crumbs on the salad but we still got it but just ended up eating it. I also noticed that prices increased which is crazy since the prices are already pretty steep. The fried green beans used to be only $10 dollars and now it's $17 which seems crazy!! I like this place but I do think the prices and service needs to be a bit better --maybe they need to hire more workers especially with the summer picking up. read more

This was such a disappointing experience. I never give negative reviews I feel super bad about it but I don't feel bad this time at all honestly. This was our third time coming to the Creek Eatery, I thought that it would live up to the first two times because my family and I really liked it, it had a great ambiance and food. Overall great, right? Well it was a lot of fun when we ordered, and I quote, the VEGETARIAN platter for an appetizer, only for the following to happen. My dad asked a waiter what one of the dips was because we hadn't had anything like that before. He had no clue so he asked a waitress to come over and check. It takes forever but she comes and sticks it up her nose to sniff it, so we weren't eating that again for sure. And especially we weren't after finding out that, on our "vegetarian" platter, it ended up being a bacon jelly dip. We don't eat bacon or any meat with dairy for religious purposes and we are extremely upset that this was served to us contradicting their own menu... I'm very lucky I'm not fully vegetarian because if I was I legit could've been sent to the hospital that's super dangerous. We got a free dessert after this whole fiasco but that doesn't make up for it, this is seriously not ok. read more

This restaurant is located near Evergreen in a really nice and peaceful plaza. I've always driven past this plaza but I've never gone inside to check out the businesses here. My friend actually took me here and I was quite surprised by how delicious the food was! We came here at around 4 PM on a Friday and it wasn't busy whatsoever. What we ordered: Hoggin it pizza: 3.9/5 This pizza was pretty delicious and very similar to a pepperoni pizza but much more elevated. The crust was perfectly fluffy and the pizza was also thin but had a nice crunch. However, it was a bit too salty for me. The forest pizza: 5/5 I absolutely enjoy mushrooms and spinach on my pizza as it's not too heavy at all. This one definitely stood out to me and was SO delicious!! Again, the crust and the thin dough were so perfect. I'll definitely order this again. Lamb Skewers: 5/5 I don't normally order lamb as it's a hit or miss for me because of the grass taste and the dryness of the meat. However, the lamb skewers were crazy good. They were juicy and flavorful along with the grilled grapes that came with it as well. The grapes added a slight sweetness to the lamb and it was the perfect combo! I also ordered myself a peach alcoholic drink but unfortunately, I cannot remember what it was called. It was really delicious though! Overall, this is an amazing spot to come and chill with friends! I live about 8 minutes from here so I've been curious for months about this place. Okay so before deciding to try it, I called in inquiring what type of veggie patty their plant based burger uses because I have food sensitivities and I'm Veg. The host was sooo distracted while having me on the call that he made me repeat my question THREE times!! And when he finally listened to my question he responded with "oh I wouldn't know." So I kindly asked would you be able to ask someone in the kitchen?.. he says sure thing, turns out it's a soy patty. I took the answer and decided not to be turned off by the annoying phone call and still give this place a shot. There was no wait so my friends and I got a nice table inside on a Friday night. They have an outside eating area as well with heaters. My burger was good and the fries were alright. It only had a couple of spinach leaves and one little slice of tomato. Just a very standard nothing special burger. I did like that they give you a side of their thousand island sauce with the plate. My friends ordered the lamb burger, their baked pasta, and a margarita pizza. We all ate and we're almost finished with our meal when we realized the pizza wasn't out yet! At that point it was over an hour into ordering the food and the place was not busy at all. The waitress went back and checked on it and we are 100% sure the cooks forgot to make it because it came out in 10 minutes. Glad we ordered the pizza to share and not for a main entree. The pizza was actually really good. Classic thin crust with globs of mozzarella, yum. We were so excited to eat it I forgot to take a picture! Lol I really wanted to love this place but that phone call and the forgotten pizza kind of ruined it for me. I have been eating at the Creek Eatery for 20+ years. I love the place and the new ownership is a great improvement. The reason for my review and 4 stars is that I wanted to give feedback on my take out order today. Hopefully, this will not happen to others. I ordered the Cal Mixed Green salad. The salad was missing the feta cheese and the vinaigrette salad was put on the salad. I also ordered blackened salmon on the side. High end restaurants never put the salad dressing on a to go salad, nor cooked salad on top of mixed greens. The salad was soggy and not enjoyable, due to the oil from the salmon and the heavy, not light vinaigrette dressing. The dressing should have been put in a separate container and also the salmon. read more

We, my daughter and granddaughter went here for a quick bite. I noticed the greeter was a little hesitant to help us. We were sat by two other tables which received excellent service, and us one visit to take the order, one visit we had to ask for a straw twice and one visit for the check. I thought to myself maybe we were bothering them or maybe we did not matter because of our skin tone. Note to owner I do not appreciate receiving second rate service with not even a thank when leaving, when all others were thanked. But i suggest you order from DoorDash/UberEats or whatever to avoid getting ignored by servers or wait to be seated for 30 mins. I was literally in front of this server's face and said excuse me and he completely ignored me. Not even bothered to say "give me a second" or anything. Completely ignored. Very rude and condescending. They see you standing there but they choose to not even acknowledge you. Very rude and it just ruined my Sunday morning. They need better customer service. The breakfast pizza was actually very interesting and tasty. I liked the wood fired pizza crust. Service was quick and all the staff was friendly. The prices are a little high but I guess because of the area, it makes sense. I told him and he looked confused and went inside to check. Comes back out and says I forgot to send the ticket in for that... did you still want it as it will take 15-20 min. Like hello... I still need to eat... what else do you think I should do.... Give me recommendations or be more helpful. I told him I will still take the chicken and when it did come out it was good. I wish they gave you an option for the side, but the rice pilaf was ok... was more like bagged imitation fried rice, but that's ok. The food, ambience and the service were great . Omar was very responsive to all my inquiries, helped me set up the menu, arrange the furnitures, and also served the guests very well at the day of the party. Came here on a weekday night because I was craving pasta and wanted to check out a local business. It was pretty empty although there seemed to be many delivery/takeout orders. Although I originally just wanted pasta, all of the other tables were ordering pizza so we went for that too. The service is slow. Our server was nice but everyone else avoided eye contact. I am unsure why? We noticed her working on a ton of orders/tables so when she was busy, we tried calling but couldn't flag anyone else down because they kept avoiding eye contact. I didn't catch her name but there was someone who consistently ignored our niceties. There was a group that was already seated nearby us and they seemed to wait for what felt like forever for their food. The brussels sprouts had a good sauce on them but many of them were too burnt. I originally enjoyed the crispiness but the char became distracting. They were bitter, not in a vegetable way but in a burnt food way. The Cardinale pizza was good! We were not expecting any greens on them but I'm happy there was because they added great flavor and texture. This pizza is thin but not crispy. When you pick up your slice, it's floppy and moist. That's fine, I just folded it. 45min after ordering, we checked up on our main course, the pasta. Turns out, the kitchen forgot about our order. Our server asked if we still wanted it, and I said yes... It's our main dish... It came out in another 20 minutes. The shrimp fettuccine did not hit the spot. It was lacking in flavor, pretty mild and creamy but definitely needed more salt, pepper, and other spices. I was considering asking for more salt but just powered through. She eventually took it off of our bill, which I was grateful for because I was considering just leaving. Overall, the prices are pretty high but I think you're paying for the ambiance, drinks, and fancy pizza. The drinks selection was big and I think the restaurant itself was beautiful! I stopped by The Creek to get a cold beer and a couple of appetizers. The good news is their beer was cold. At least 12 or so beers on tap. The food was the bad news. We ordered calamari and spicy fried green beans. The calamari was fried so long the calamari rings and tentacle meat was crispy...not just the batter. In fact, when you tried to eat the calamari with a fork, it would just shatter. The green beans were also fried so long the moisture was completely out of the beans and the bean was crunchy like the batter. Did the cook not give-a-darn? Was it the bus boy impersonating a cook? This is fried food. A few guidelines are used to batter and fry almost anything. Frying is the entry level station in a kitchen. I would be concerned to order anything else prepared by this kitchen. My advice, stop by The Creek to have a beer, but eat elsewhere. read more

I tried the lamb burger for lunch on a Friday. It was seasoned with herbs in a manner that hid the typical gamey aftertaste, which was pleasant. The burger was juicy, but lacked in flavor or salt. It came with a bunch of raw onions, which I felt should be sautéed onions or the crispy onions. Whatever arugula it came with did not taste like arugula, but was endive instead (not sure if they ran out of arugula). The bread was good- sort of like a brioche bun. The garlic fries that it came with were fresh and crunchy. There was no customer service as the water was not refilled and the waiter did zero check ins. The restaurant wasn't super busy either. However, the interior and environment was like a modern rustic vibe. Menu items are on the pricier side. This is a pretty busy plaza, but I was able to find parking easily. read more
