I love Mr. Mojito Bar & Grill! It's one of the rare places in Santa Clara Valley where you can actually get a table on a busy weekend evening. My favorite hands down is the chicken fajitas. The pineapple salsa is chef's kiss perfection. Friendly service as well. Pro tip. Sit at the bar. The service is warm & friendly.

Mr. Mojitos always delivers on the tasty cocktails. We love coming here on a Friday after a long work week. The food isn't bad either. This time around I got a taco salad. It was good and I'd order it again. The wait staff is cool and friendly. It's a bustling restaurant and bar with people sitting inside and out. Groups of friends and family hang out here.

A friend recommended this place to me, saying it was good. I was looking to add another authentic Mexican restaurant to my list of go-to's but unfortunately this place was a disappointment. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, Mr. Mojito is not the place. This is an Mexican American restaurant. I will say that this place is excellent for drinks and appetizers. They have a huge variety of small eats and a huge bar with many selections, like garlic fries, hummus, fried zuchinni, nacho fries, etc. They also have happy hour prices for beers at $5.50 and margaritas for $7.50 QUESO DIP: It was pretty good. It had pieces of churizo in it and it was melted on a skillet. A bit salty though. And it was $17 which I thought was a bit steep. SHREDDED BEEF ENCHILIDAS: Nothing to complain about the dish, it was pretty standard. I think it lacked some of the authentic tastes. Perhaps its the tortilla they used or the type of chili sauce they used for the enchilada. I think American restaurants used more of a tex-mex variation of the sauce. Service was painfully slow. It wasn't even busy! We went after school around 330 pm and there was barely anyone there, yet we kept losing our waitress. I think they can do a better job at making the place smell better. The cleaning solution they use is a bit too much.

The place is surprisingly good . We didn't expect much . We came in for an evening w our friends - the decor and atmosphere were nice . We started with the fried cauliflowers and the bacon wrapped shrimps which were both very good starters . I then ordered the jalapeño burger which came in as a thick patty (which I personally prefer more than smash burgers ). The burger was tasty but unfortunately came well done despite me ordering it medium . The French fries were just ok . Also ordered a mojito which was quite good We will likely come back !

Location is a bit in the outskirts but does offer tons of parking and can easily accommodate large groups for a meal, drink or vibe. Menu lists lots of dishes and bar whips up tons of eye appealing cold drinks. Music playlist is festive, TV's are readily available for games, patio is great for outdoor eating. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I've enjoyed the Appetizer platter, Green sauce Enchiladas, Fish tacos, Chavelas, Micheladas & Palomas. Will return to get the sizzling aromatic Fajitas and cold beverages

Popped in on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm. Not too crowded. Got some chips and salsa () and ordered up the Carna Asada Chimichurri plate. I'm extremely impressed. HUGE steak, cooked to perfection. Amazing flavor. All the sides were fresh and wonderful. My Néw favorite steakhouse

First visit today, and I picked this spot specifically because Yelp said it was pet-friendly with a patio. Perfect for bringing my pup along for a little service dog training session she's been in training since 4 months old, and if you know service dogs, you know that training never really ends. I figured we could practice with a few distractions in a mellow setting. When I rolled up, the place was super quiet. Maybe 8 tables total in the whole restaurant, and only about 4 out on the patio. It took several minutes for anyone to come up front (which caught me off guard). The woman who greeted me seemed like she was just starting her shift not sure she had officially clocked in yet, but still appreciated that she helped me out. Since it was just me, I came in with low expectations just a Fourth of July drink and something small to tide me over. I ordered the signature mojito (jalapeño!) and the carnitas nachos off the happy hour menu. Both were just $8.50, which was a steal. Honestly, I came out here because Lake Cunningham canceled their fireworks, and traffic was light. But while I was sitting there, I saw a post about a drone show happening later unexpected bonus. The vibe here is super relaxed. TVs everywhere, so no matter where you sit, you'll catch whatever game or show is on which I actually liked. And let me say: that mojito? Not usually a big drinker, but wow. Beautiful presentation and legit delicious. Left me wondering why I ever gave up on cocktails. As for the nachos the plate came out blazing hot and stayed warm the whole time (props for that). They were more baked than I prefer, and I'll be honest, nachos are my benchmark test for any restaurant. Just like people test Bloody Marys to rate bartenders, I test nachos. These didn't hit the perfect 10, mostly because they were stingy on chips (odd, since most places pile them high), but the carnitas portion was solid. Not drenched in sides, either which I actually liked. Happy hour menu, so I get it expectations adjusted. Final verdict? Left full, slightly buzzed, and satisfied. Mr. Mojitos did its job, and on the Fourth of July, that's all I really needed.

Came here for a birthday celebration last night. We had a great server. Got there early enough for happy hour so that was great. 8.50 mojitos and appetizers like half off. Great deal. Ordered the coconut shrimp and chorizo queso dip with a pineapple mojito and my bff got the mojito with Jameson. For dinner got the grilled tilapia street tacos. Amazing. And she got the carne asada tacos. Service was great. Food tasted good. Only down fall is prices of not part of happy hour were a bit pricey

We were looking for a nearby sports bar that was playing the last Warriors game of the season and came across Mr. Mojitos. We've driven by this place countless amount of times but never had the opportunity to stop by for whatever reason. This was the best opportunity since we didn't have a lot of time and wanted to get a bite to eat while watching the game. We were seated right away. I was surprised to see the restaurant pretty empty. The outside bar had some people but indoors, there wasn't many people. Took around 5 minutes before we were greeted by a server even while being empty. Luckily, the server that came was a nice gentleman. While scanning the menu, I couldn't help but notice the premium prices on some of the items. We ordered guacamole, calamari and the fajita trio. For drinks, I ordered a 9oz Daou Cabernet and my wife ordered a Michelada. Our drinks were delivered first and noticed my wine was slightly under poured - I showed my wife to make sure I wasn't underestimating it. She agreed and if I had to guesstimate - it looked more like a 7.5-8oz pour. This brought back memories at 10 butchers where we had a similar situation. Rather than make a deal out of it, I decided to keep the day happy and just drink it. The guacamole was super fresh and delicious but the major issue was the portion size. For a $14+ app, I don't expect a bucket but I do hope for something slightly bigger. If you have a party of 3+, this will not be big enough to share. The calamari was similar regarding portion size. The squid was cooked perfectly, great flavors and chew. The breading was slightly off as it mimicked a chicken tender type of breading where it's slightly thicker with a tougher bite. With calamari, the best is when it's lightly breaded. The fajita trio was the star of the day. Came out hot and fresh. Chicken and steak was seasoned great and flavorful. The shrimp had a nice bite. It was accompanied by a good portion of veggies. I def recommend ordering this if you come here. Overall, had an okay experience. The promptness of the service with the lack of people there was a bit off. The food was good but their portion sizes need to be reevaluated. Their wine pours need to have more consistency. The service we got from our server was great. The venue was nice and open. Plenty of TVs to catch your favorite sports team - I think they need to have a section outdoors where they can turn the volume on, especially for the big games. I'll give it a shot again at a later date but def a mix feelings review for this recent visit.

A delightful place - surprised at some of the reviews. The staff is super friendly and their margaritas are a must try. But not if you are driving - they are quite potent. And they have options - the largest glass is bigger than your face! The server was kind enough to add more margarita mix into mine because it was so very boozy and I didn't even finish it!

If you're looking for a late night, wide variety of food and drinks and good ambience come here. My family and I come here once a week. The food here is delicious, the service is amazing and the drinks are always good too. I always order the carne asada plate which is always a 10/10. My mom loves their chicken fajitas. Thank you for being a great neighborhood restaurant

It's rare to find a spot in or near the south bay that has two of my favorite cocktails (chocolate martini and strawberry lemon drop), but Mr. Mojito has it all! In fact they have a lot of versions and flavors of many of your typical cocktails, and they make them quite well. Even the classic chavela did not disappoint. I'd come back just for the drinks, but the food was tasty and satisfying too. Warm lightly seasoned tortilla chips and guacamole topped off with fresh pico de gallo, quesadilla filled with juicy delicious steak and shrimp and melted cheese, sizzling chicken fajita full of flavor, nicely grilled bell peppers and onions, choice of beans and fresh sides. Service was a bit slow this past Sunday night, but Jose was super friendly and welcoming. And so was the modern and spacious atmosphere. Even though the place isn't perfect, they come pretty close in all aspects, so I think 5 stars is appropriate.

Stepping into Mr Mojito's is like stepping into home away from home. Except the food isn't over cooked, your bottle of tequila isn't running low and there are a lot more TV's to watch your sports team let you down. Staff are welcoming and very friendly, unlike your cat that scratched the couch pillow and likely pee'd in the kitchen. It's great for dates, family dinners, happy hour and Sunday Football. Let's see what Niner is getting injured this weekend. . . Dog friendly patio, that way you know for sure it was the cat. To put simple, bring your friends, your family, enjoy some good drinks, great food and hopefully a W from your local football or hockey team.

This was supposed to be a special birthday dinner date that my husband meticulously planned for me,…read morebut it turned into the most horrendous dining experience I've ever had. We dined at Lira on November 14th. The Service (or Lack Thereof): The Menu Shortage: We arrived for our 6:45 PM reservation only to be told by the manager that they didn't have enough menus. We were told they'd bring them "later." Ignored for 35+ Minutes: We sat with nothing but water for over half an hour. To make matters worse, a table of six was seated after us and received their full entrees while we were completely ignored. The Drink Mess: After 40 minutes, the server told me they were out of ingredients for my drink. When I picked a second option, she tried to insist I wanted a drink with celery (my most despised vegetable). We thankfully stopped her before it was made, but the incompetence was staggering. The Food Fiasco: An hour into our reservation, someone dropped off a scallop dish. A while later, a server asked if I'd "received the scallops yet," and I realized the plate I was eating wasn't even intended for our table. We were so starving that my husband and I just shared them. Once we finished, the server finally asked my husband if he "still wanted his meal or if he wanted to cancel it." I finally lost my cool - of course he still wanted his dinner! The Aftermath: My husband didn't realize that my friends had actually made a separate reservation to take me back to this same spot the following night for a second birthday celebration. After this performance, there was no way I was going to step foot in this building again or give them another cent of our money. I texted my friends from the table to cancel those reservations and book elsewhere. With service this disorganized and insulting, this restaurant won't be in business long. Super disappointing. Don't waste your special occasions here. *Edit - it looks like Lira has closed. With the service we experienced, I am not surprised in the slightest. I thought some dishes were great; the wagyu burger was decadent. Other dishes were not that special. The scallops didn't taste too fresh (likely frozen) and combining them with hummus didn't quite work. The side of bread was practically insulting. $5 for stale table bread was a surprise. Dishes arrived very late; we were nearly forgotten when we tried to order, and then after ordering, we waited 40 minutes between appetizers and the main course. Not because they were cooking it; they just forgot we were there and when they brought out the dishes, the scallops were no longer just-cooked, and the burger had been sitting for a bit. No apology, just an acknowledgment it was late, and no discount (not even on the stale bread). They offered us wine, we said we didn't drink, and they just moved on. I debated a lot about how to review this. It's my personal experience that was disappointing, and I'm glad some reviews are very upbeat. But there's a handful of reviews noting frustrating delays... and that needs to be worked on.

While seating is limited, you can sit at the bar, a booth, a table, or the patio, which allows pretty views of people returning their safeway carts and middle schoolers. That's a dangling participle: They don't return their middle schoolers, but they probably wish they could. Anyway, the Americanized-Mexican menu is heavy on burgers and bar appetizers, which were hit and miss. The French fries were unusually hard and crisp. The smashburgers looked better than they tasted, but that's not too insulting: they look outstanding. On two separate burgers the bland buns fell apart, so hopefully they'll get better options in future. If they won't toast the bun for me next time, I'll bring a lighter. The guac was good (my wife and I are picky) but the "queso" is queso-tionable. It's not the authentic, pale, chile-flecked queso you might expect from even Chipotle, but bright orange school snack bar nacho cheese. The elote salad was not very elotey and it was flavorless (my wife asked for lime, which helped juice it up). The beer list is impressive. They offer rotating slush drinks. I loved the strawberry margarita ($11 or $8 happy hour) but returned the mojito. It tasted like fake mint. It was a nojito.

The owner greeted and seated us and was very friendly and nice, as was our waitress. I had an Elote Street Corn Salad topped with tri-tip. I was concerned it might be spicy, but the waitress assured me it wasn't, and she was right. It was huge and delicious with lots of fresh romaine, radish, corn, avocado, pepitas and more. I do feel the tri-tip was over cooked and wish it had been done medium rare. My friend had Baja Fish Tacos that she enjoyed very much. They looked delicious. The breaded cod filet in each of the tacos was huge. She ordered guacamole as one of the sides and that looked really good, too. The Cantina is lovely inside with jungle-core decor such as large plants and leaf print wallpaper. While the dining area is a bit small, there is additional seating at the bar and outside.
