Eggs, Country potatoes and biscuits and gravy.

This diner is rather nostalgic as a Reno landmark has been operated under different names over the years. The ambiance inside was very clean and had the country kitchen vibe. The hostess, waiter and table attendant were exceptionally courteous and friendly. They kept our coffee flowing. They did not have heavy cream only milk or half and half. The eggs were cooked to order and the hash browns were perfect browned and crispy. The bacon was thick and yet still crispy, ham and sausage were also tasty. The biscuits and gravy were a little disappointing as the gravy was bland, thick and hardly any sausage pieces. The biscuits were average and not very browned. Overall this is a great stop for breakfast. It's very convenient and the people and food are great.

We arrived a little late but we were still able to sit at the bar in the back, we enjoy sitting there and have several times. Service is always superb and immediate! We both had mimosas as it was Mother's Day. I had the Tucson scramble she enjoyed eggs Benedict. Both meals were plenty of food and fantastic!!

Just love this place. I have never ordered anything i did not love. From breakfast to lunch selections its a must try. Always busy but definitely worth the wait time. The servers are always smiling and friendly. I enjoy the hustle and bustle of this place. Conversations a plenty. Lots of noise but it adds to the overall environment of a busy restaurant. It's a fun family place.

Our first time eating here and everything tasted great. Service was good. All the little signs inside were cute.

Had brunch with one of my friends . We had about a 15 minute wait for a table . While we waited there was a steady flow of people coming and going. We were seated at a table right by the kitchen door.. It was ok until it wasn't. Not the worst experience. I had the Garden Benedict! It was better than I had expected! Their sauce is creamy and packed with flavor and the rest of the meal followed suit. Would like to try it for lunch and possibly have a more enjoyable seating experience

The Cup Cafe is one of my favorite local spots in Reno! It has the most homey atmosphere and the staff is always welcoming and friendly! The pancakes are fabulous and my go to is classic Eggs Benedict or huevos rancheros! You can't go wrong with this family owned spot and all of their homemade dishes!

I came here with my family to have brunch. It's a cute, small, and cozy cafe. I ordered a burger while the rest of my family ordered breakfast. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger and it was delicious! The fries were also crispy so that earned extra points in my book. Service was also really wonderful. Servers were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth to check out!

The cup is a cute little cafe, there is a mural greeting you, asking with the waiting area. The hostess got my name and number of party, wait time is approximately 30 minutes, not bad of the wait. I order the scrambler with toast and coffee. The scrambler has sausage with bell peppers and onion with home fries scrambled with eggs. I actually enjoyed the meal. It's good, rustic, homey feel. The servers are attentive. Even with a little mishaps. There was a spilled syrup on the seat, I accidentally sat on it. They are very apologetic. Especially my servers.

We visited The Cup Cafe for our first time recently after driving by many times and were so glad we did! The inside was cute and felt like the inside of a house. It was family friendly and they had coloring pages and crayons for the kids. The staff was friendly and service was quick and the food was delicious! We tried the chicken fried steak and pumpkin pancakes and both hit the spot. The food was all reasonably priced as well. I look forward to going back and trying some of the other breakfast or lunch options!

My first time into the cup I've been really wanting to go here and I was not disappointed. I loved it. The decor, the ambiance the waitresses were so friendly and the food is just delicious. We watched the cooks right there grill it all, make it all right in front of our eyes and the teapots were so darn. Cute was probably my favorite. All in all the food was delicious. I ordered chile relleno and it was delicious pancake that we always order for. The table was one of the most delicious pancakes I've ever tasted after I ate that I kind of wasn't hungry but I pressed on. My sister ordered steak and eggs. Steak was cooked perfectly the way she loves it. So guess what I'll be back

A cozy, bright breakfast spot with friendly staff, quick service, and a fabulous cup of coffee! Met a friend for breakfast to catch up and decided to try somewhere new. Safe to say...we will be back! I had the Tuscan scramble (order it and thank me later) and she had the bacon avocado Benedict (on my next order list). Both were very tasty and we chose the house potatoes for a side. I wish the potatoes had been crispier, but seasoned well and a great mo with peppers and onions.

I had waffles combo with banana pecan and it was very good. Service was fast as usual and i enjoyed my meal with coffee, of course. People are friendly and on the spot. My husband's french toast might have stayed longer in the pan than he liked and could have been better. Bright and clean just how we wanted. Overall, a great visit today.

Service was quick and friendly. Pancakes were delicious! Corned beef and hash tasted like it was from a can unfortunately my only disappointment for this experience.

The sandwiches were much larger than expected, and were still nice and warm. Opened the bag to find each sandwich was wrapped and clearly labeled. The herb flavors were present in the Cuban, the pickles were mighty tasty offsetting the fat, and the vinegar in mustard tied it all together and the warm fresh crusty bread... OHHHHH MYYYYY!!! Greatttttt sandwhich! Jalapeno cheese bread with trip tip was MF FIRE !! I'd never imagine blue cheese and trip tip with jalapeno and spinach. I added a slice of Swiss cheese to accompany my meat but in hindsight, I regret it as it took away from the overall taste of the sandwich. They clearly melted the Swiss somehow on the corned beef. Perhaps it was just from the hot sliced meat, microwaved (I doubt) or steamed? However, I was a bit disappointed as my sandwich came out fairly cold and by the feel of the bread I feel like it was ready well before it was brought out and sat a bit waiting for my mouth as the top bread was dry/crusty and the bottom slice was still steamy warm. I would have liked a hotter sandwich. For my side I chose the fries. Fresh and hot they would have been the bomb, however, like the sando, they were mediocre as they were past their prime. My dining partner had the grill pastrami (same price) with added Swiss cheese slice as well. The amount of meat on his sandwich looked 1/2 the weight/volume of mine. (I was glad with my choice.) Overall, I'll probably return for my craving of a good "Chicago Jewish deli" corned beef sandwich but will ask to be sure it's hot next time and I will also ask for freshly fried potatoes, or maybe I will try the potato salad or cole slaw. 3.5 stars out of 5. I found myself out and about with just my son and and we both thought a char grilled kebab sounded like a fun dinner experiment. We popped in and found who were guessing is the owner's child at the register and placed our order for their signature kebab made from ground chicken and Afghani spices. The plate came with sumac spiked basmati rice, two pieces of the chicken kebab and a small green salad plus a green hot sauce. The kebab was tender and juicy with a great flavor profile and a nice bit of charcoal flavor. We thought the rice was actually exceptional light and fluffy with a hint of that citrus sea tang from the sumac, in a buttery finish, made this a nice light side to the kebab. The salad was fresh and crunchy with cucumber, lettuce, and bell peppers and that green hot sauce was really great and we used it as a dressing because the salad did not come with one. For $16 I just felt like the value was a bit often the plate needed at least one more piece of the kebab because when finished with a small tiny salad and the kebab, we were left with a mountain of rice and that is south wasteful. I just wish the plates here were a bit more valued oriented and I guess it will take more people eating here to kind of drive that up. Highly recommend giving it a try plus the market has some really fun fines too. Share your review and let me know what you think.
