Again another 1st, The food is wonderful we all enjoyed our our meals, the flavors were great, food hot and hit the spot for our last meal on the island. Our waitress Jacqui was excellent, she made the evening wonderful so we could enjoy our time together. It was my wife's sister 75th birthday weekend. The atmosphere is wonderful, good beach view, but it was raining and couldn't get any ocean views but will be back on a sunny day. I (we) will be back and I recommend this establishment when visiting Tybee Island. The whole staff are great friendly and make you feel welcome.

Awesome beachfront dining with one point of warning. Outside on the porch is a lovely spot for a meal, beverage or both. Just be aware that the local birds have an issue with outsiders sharing their space. Good Luck or not - no one likes being pooped on! We ordered strawberry daiquiris and a Tybee Salad and a chicken sandwich. Both items were tasty and filled the space available in our tummies. We did get a squirt gun dropped at our table to balance the scales of defense. We used it a few times. Needless to say no more surprises occurred. Friendly staff and great location.

I came here for a bachelorette party, and we all had a great experience eating dinner at The Deck! Before sitting down, we were all able to get a seat at the bar and enjoy a drink. They have a variety of fun drinks, but the favorites were the banana daiquiri, which was unique but delicious, and both their Aperol and Hugo spritz! They have reasonable prices and more casual food, but a few of us ordered the steak quesadilla and loved it. Our service was great, the food came quickly, and the drinks were delicious. There is direct beach access as well, so it's a perfect spot for lunch if you are already on the beach, or to catch the sunset after dinner. I would highly recommend it if you are in the area or visiting and need a dinner or lunch spot!

Nice spot for lunch and a bonus that it is beachside...really gives you that island ambiance. The service was great - friendly and very quick staff all around. I just got a BLTA (bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado) which was good but the fries were a nice surprise - they had a little spice on them that I really enjoyed - very subtle but a little different from your run of the mill shoestring fries.

This place is in the midst of a hotel. We were a little unsure where exactly it was located but they do have enough signs to get you to the restaurant. We were greeted and seated right seat. Service was overall excellent. The food presentation was great, but man does it lack flavor. We started with the chorizo roasted corn dip. It had very little flavor and the chips were kind of stale. My husband had the deck burger, it was watery and no flavor. How do you mess up a burger so bad? I had the chicken and waffle sandwich. First, there's no way to eat this as a sandwich, but that's ok. The waffle part was one of the best waffles I've ever had. The jalapeño syrup and chipotle mayo were great but man that chicken was the biggest disappointment. It looked amazing. The breading was great but it had absolutely no flavor. Even eating it all together wasn't enough to help that chicken.

The Legendary Bloody Mary was delicious. The Key Lime Martini did not disappoint either. And the Ahi Tuna Tachos were just amazing and perfect for sharing between two. Our service was spot on, and the atmosphere was especially enjoyable.

    Miami Vice

Since The Deck is conveniently located on the beach and connected to the Beachside Colony resort, I decided to stop in for lunch after the beach. I was greeted immediately and sat outside. I ordered a Miami Vice and the shrimp tacos. The drink was nice and refreshing after a long day in the sun, but the shrimp tacos were bland and underwhelming. However, the server was very friendly and attentive and gave me a recommendation for brunch the next day (as they no longer serve brunch themselves). I may go back and sit at the bar as the views are pleasant, but I don't think I would go again for a full meal.

Great views. Indoor and outdoor shaded patio. Wings were messy and had the perfect crispiness. Loved the poke bowl with coconut rice. Server brought soy sauce out since there was really no dressing. I was satisfied but the cheesecake intrigued the table. It was really good. Had a nice sweet and salty combo. Perfect size for 4 people

These are a must try if you like wings. Chicken and pancake tacos were delicious. Pancakes had a touch of sweetness. Fried chicken inside with a spicy mayo. Topped with a strawberry salsa that worked well. 3 of these were very filling. Fun and very good. Son had the double wide footlong. Topped with sloppy Joe. After that the 2 sides were different. One had fried banana peppers. The other side more classic with toppings. Son said it was really good. Others had the ahi tuna salad. Tuna was perfectly rare. Salad was good and the wasabi dressing had great flavor without being too spicy. Service was quick even though jam packed. Also very friendly.

Treylor Park was probably exactly what we needed at 11:30 at night…read more It's somewhere between a diner and a sports bar, but the decor is what makes it. The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.

Fannie's is a huge, 2-story restaurant with so much space right at the edge of the beach. It just calls out to you! So I headed on in. I let a woman at the door know that I wanted to sit upstairs and she directed me to the stairwell on the side of the building. I went up and came across their spacious upper dining room and deck which looked right out on the beach and boardwalk. Such a great oceanside vibe! As soon as I walked up I was greeted by a gentleman who seemed to be a manager of sorts. He guided me over to a table on the deck and left me with a menu. I appreciate not having to sit around looking crazy! Soon, a waitress named Nicki came over to help me. She was a sweetheart! During my visit I had their steamed oysters, rib plate and the frozen lemonade. The steamed oysters were a bittt overcooked but they worked! The ribs were superrr tender but I wish they had some more meat on them, but I was surprised at how tender they were. The frozen lemonade was delicious and super refreshing! I just don't feel like there was enough liquor in it, and I'm not even one to like too much liquor. All in all, a basic experience when it comes to food, but I was really impressed with the level of service I received, the timeliness of my order and the overall vibe of the restaurant. I'd go back if I'm ever on Tybee again!

You can tell that it's been around for a long time with little visual upgrades, but as long as the food is hot and the team is friendly - who cares about the fancy aesthetics! (Not me) When we entered, we were greeted and told them how many were in our party. And then sweet Auntie disappeared and never came back LOL rumor has it, she still has not returned lol. But another sweet young lady asked us again and gave us a number to signify our space in line. After about 10-15min, our number was called and we had a seat in the back room. A Waiter came to our table and quickly took our drink orders, returning shortly after with a tray of drinks. The menu has some great classic breakfast options, as well as brunch. They even have a buffet that was getting a lot of action. Not from me though... I'm good on that in this world of germs! We all opted for different meals, I went with the big breakfast as it paired sweet and savory, just what I prefer. The portions were generous, I'll give them that. My eggs and grits were pretty legit. I've had some great grits and some trash grits, I'd definitely give their version a B. The bacon was a bittt too crispy for me but I'm really weird about my bacon and I feel like normal people like crispy bacon lol so that's a personal problem. But that pork sausage? No way. I don't know what it was about the flavor but I couldn't handle swallowing it. Not sure what happened there. My pancakes were delicious!
