    Box full of delicious!

We were fortunate enough to get a variety pack of some of their beautiful cookies and brownies The unfortunate side was that we should've got double the amount due to how quickly they got eaten.! Will 100% be happy with gaining a few pounds trying all the variety they offer!

The Dessert Tray has been a go to for fantastic desserts over the years. Their custom cakes are amazingly creative and delicious. Pretty simple store front keeps it real as all the magic happens in the back room, which you can see. My experience is that the service is super helpful and friendly.

Absolutely love the bakery! It is our go-to bakery. I can't have chocolate or strawberries and I love that they have options!! I usually get their Lemon Poppyseed Raspberry cake. My daughter surprised me this past week with a new variety of cake slices: Lemon Lavender, Marionberry Rose, and Passion Fruit Coconut. I forgot to get pictures of the Lemon Lavender and Marionberry Rose, but here is a photo of the A.MAZ.ING Passion Fruit Coconut.

Really friendly and easy to do business with had never tried this bakery before, but found them online. decided to order a small cake for my birthday. I shared an inspo photo. I think this turned out beautifully and just what I needed to brighten my day.

I am getting married soon and the dessert tray is one of the bakeries near my wedding venue so we tried some samples. The business is easy to find on the GPS, but only has 3 or 4 parking spots so you might need to park a little farther away and walk a short distance. The employees were very nice and helpful when I made my cake selections a few days prior to pickup. We tried the lemon poppyseex cake with raspberry buttercream (one of their best sellers), the chocolate ganache, chocolate cake with lemon butter cream, and strawberry cake with marionberry buttercream. The lemonpoppy seed with raspberry was moist, refreshing, and delicious although it could have used a bit more poppyseed and lemon flavor. Our other favorite was chocolate Gamache which was smooth, rich, and chocolatey. The strawberry cake was delicious, but the marionberry buttercream didn't have a lot of flavor.

My husband and I got our cake a year ago today for our wedding from them. They were very helpful and gave us all the time to go through their albums looking for something we wanted. In the end, we had our own vision and they hit it dead on! We wanted something pretty simple but also very elegant. My husband and I share a favorite flower and decided it's how we wanted our cake. They asked us many questions and gave us lots of options. Very streamlined. To top it off, they told us they give you a free 4 inch cake for your first anniversary so you don't need to try saving the top layer. We went and got our 1st anniversary cake this week and weren't expecting anything elaborate, but they made it very pretty and it felt extremely special to help celebrate our special day. Not only was the service and execution spot on, the flavors were amazing. Everyone loved the cake at the wedding. Both tiers were different flavors.

At this point I've tried a number of things here and every one of them were delicious! The Japanese pancakes were so fluffy and fun, called ahead just to make sure they could make them right after opening but couldn't get through. THEY CALLED ME BACK IMMEDIATELY!! I have never had a food place care enough to actually call back if they miss a call. I was so happy with the pancakes too, nicely made and yummy. Their tiny cakes are all perfect too, I'm in love with each one especially the PDX rose! So bright and flavorful, with a beautiful outside that matches its taste! Can't forget the Japanese Cream Cheese Bun, it's soooooo good and the price matches the taste (aka good price for a good dessert). Not too sweet but still delicious! Just gotta make sure you eat it fresh, forgot to eat my last one for an hour and it got dry but still had its yummy taste. I super recommend this place!!

I added breakfast to this place while they visited me for a few days. We called in our order as instructed on the website. Unfortunately no Boba was available for on the pancakes. When we arrived I was disheartened to find the place rather small either intense heat of a bakery, which made the lone table inside with a meandering fly the least bit welcoming. When adding drinks to our order, the lone man working there asked me a few times whether I really was ordering coffee for a child (and yes, she settled on a mocha when it was determined he only knew how to sprinkle matcha powder on the pancakes, and hadn't a clue as to their application to drinks). My grandson ordered their 'special hot chocolate' which pretty much tasted like watered-down Ovaltine. We sat outside to eat and after a few bites and finding these were nothing like the fluffy Japanese pancakes they'd expected, we threw away $44 worth of what was supposed to be a pleasant breakfast experience. I guess this was a life lesson for the kids, that our expectations aren't always met. And I want to prevent any other adults from making the same mistake I did in taking my business there!

I thought we'd go there for some to-go, and hubby found a parking spot, just around the corner, in the shade. As he was turning right, I also spotted a 'bakery' written on the window. I was thinking of waiting for him, in the car, and just grab a chicken sandwich. But, after he left, I decided to go inside the bakery to browse. He was standing at the corner, reading the menu of the shop, when I called him to 'Come over here!' I didn't know what I just walked in. Ooddles & oodles of cookies, cakes, pastries, sandwiches, like a one-stop bakery, cafe to-go. I started to take a video, of the whole shop, but sadly, as I turned it off, I realized I was just turning it ON! Instead of buying one sandwich for each of us, we ended up buying 4 of our 'look scrumptious' pastries that could fill us up. (Photos are not good quality, because I thought I was video-taping it. That's the result!) We each shared everything! We both agreed, it was probably one of the best lunches we've eaten. The pastry were still warm, the cheese in our ham was melting in your mouth. The spinach was just out of the oven. Everything was just wonderful! We will surely stop by here again, and buy twice as much, should last us a week. Maybe freeze some, so when we are tempted for some pastry, we are ready!

I tend to pick from the shelf-stable pastries since for some reason whenever I visit it is always hot. That means I have to skip at the cake/pastry case even though the desserts look so tantalizing. My favorites are: Kare pan: House made beef curry inside of a deep fried donut coated with panko. I don't understand how it's possible for this creation to remain crispy even though it's stored at room temperature instead of the more usual warming lamps. The curry is thick and has generous chunks of beef and vegetables. The bread isn't really "donut" per se since that brings to mind something sweet with a tender crumb. It's more of a fried bread dough that's deliciously chewy. Bacon and blue cheese mini epi: Épis de Blé is a bread that looks like a sheaf of wheat that is very similar to a baguette. Their take has a chewier crumb and crust instead of a shattering crispy outside as with a traditional bread of this type. The cheese and bacon make this such a luxurious bread. They don't use the shelf stable bacon; they use the good stuff so it adds a great texture to the bread. It's not heavy in blue cheese flavor, so even though I don't like blue cheese, I still adore this bread.
