We took a break from Sevierville traffic and stopped off at this super cute locally owned diner. We saw another review that said they had huge salads so I opted for the house and am so glad I did, super filling. We split an appetizer sampler, highly recommend the fried pickles and fried green tomatoes. The decor is very homey and dineresque, staff was very friendly. read more

Wow,best banana split I have had in years. Granted I haven't had one in years but still it was delicious. We got the one with the brownie, go big or go home! Comes with vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream topped with walnuts soaked in syrup and whipped cream. Looks impressive when it comes out, tastes just as good. We did our best between two people and we still couldn't finish it. Even with all the sweets in the area, this might be the best we had all week. read more

My husband and I stopped here when we were in Gatlinburg for New Years last year and it was AMAZING!!! They have so many options and the prices are great! We are back here again and this is definitely a stop I have to make!!! We were so sad that they were closed yesterday (New Years Day) but will be going back today. I was pregnant last year and got the sampler for an appetizer and had to order extra fried pickles to go! I'm actually pregnant again now and will definitely be doing the same. my mother has a lung disease, okay? we go in and there was a whole side with no one in it & the other side was filled with people & had no seating spaces in between. no masks were worn by the staff. i wouldnt have minded if i hadnt asked to sit on the other side so we could isolate ourselves from everyone else & he said "there's only one server." it looked like there was two from what is saw, but i also could have saw wrong. either way, my mother would like to live her life as well as staying away from people so i did not like this place at all. we simply left. read more

What a pleasant stop!! Fast friendly service, authentic 50s diner atmosphere. Veggie burger was cooked excellently and with lots of flavor, and the husband said the barbq burger he had was the best burger he'd ever had! ! All four of us rate this so 5 stars, totally satisfied. Surprisingly good food. We only went because we wanted to take my grandson somewhere unique, and I was expecting mediocre, overpriced tourist area food. Instead the food was reasonable, and was all quite good. I think my breakfast skillet was the best thing on the table, but my wife really enjoyed her bacon cheeseburger as well. Our grandsons grilled cheese looked good, but the "smiley fries" that came with it were gross. I don't think that was their fault, I think they're frozen, but they're still gross. We finished with a banana split that was really good. I would recommend and plan to go back occasionally. read more

Visited on Black Friday really busy took a while to get order. Had the f flavor of the month milkshake pumpkin spice very good.

Went on recommendations posted here on Yelp and was expecting a good meal. What we got instead was weak coffee and luke warm food. If they were slam down busy I could at least chalk this up to being short staffed or something, but we were one of three tables! Save your money and your time and just keep on driving right past the Diner. We are going to try the Waffle House tomorrow morning. Look for that review shortly thereafter. read more

Customer Beware. Hostess was rude grumpy and had a general unpleasant demeanor, definitely not the type person you want to greet customers or be the face of your business. Food and price were ok at best. Service was very slow. I dont think they have an employee that looked younger than 65 and the service absolutely suffered for it. read more

This is the best breakfast place in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. Lunch and dinner are very good as well. Cute little place on the outside, looks like an adorable 50's diner, little jukebox, checkered floor... But, unfortunately there's not really a whole lot to brag about in the food and service department. When we first arrived from shopping in the area, my mom went to use the restroom and they told her it didn't work and "the city is working on it". A sign outside might have been nice since we definitely hoped for a working loo. When we got sat in the smallest corner booth possible for 6 people, our waitress Jennifer met us with an overall unpleasant demeanor. No friendliness... Just pressure to know what we wanted, and let's get this done attitude. That attitude never left throughout our whole experience. She even filled up the sweet tea glass with water, spilling it all over the table and never wiping it up. We ordered patty melts, hamburgers and a chicken tender platter. All were well below average. In fact this is the first time Yelp's stars have let me down... Not even in the ballpark. The burgers and patty melt were all dry and charred, way overcooked, just not good. Seriously, not even Burger King good and I don't even eat that junk. My chicken tenders were tiny and shriveled, and just not good. The mashed potatoes were good and gravy was fantastic, but the minuscule amount of gravy was unfortunate. Garlic bread was maybe the best part, but admittedly I was so put off by the rude waitress it would have taken a miracle to go up from there. Overall... Skip it. read more

Brought my daughter to the Diner for her birthday and it was a horrible experience. The service was slow and the food was cold. Stood at the counter for over 5 min waiting to tell someone because the waitress did not come back. The ladies were to busy discussing their 401 k to even ask if we needed anything. Finally the waitress came and told my wife I'll take off his meal and bring you hot fries. She had finished her whole meal before the fries came back. My daughter ordered her a birthday banana split and my wife ordered coffee. After waiting 20 min we got up to leave. The lady was just starting the banana split but who wants to sit and wait longer. We had been in there over an hour just trying to have a good lunch. It would have been a better experience if they would have at least acknowledged you at the register. We usually look forward to coffee and ice cream and cheesecake but no more. $48 for food unfit to eat. read more

Great little diner, clean friendly wait staff. Menu has a lot of variety. I've had lunch and breakfast here. While the food is nothing special it's still good and the portions are plentiful. Be sure to try one of their milkshakes. If there is something that's not on the milkshake list they will custom make it. We have eaten here in the past and it was just ok....not bad or good just ok. We went for breakfast and it was not busy at all. We walked in and waited for about 3 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. She tells us it will be a minute. As we are waiting we look up at the ceiling at the air conditioning vents.......they are DISGUSTING!!! We start looking around and the place is filthy!!!! We decided if that is what it looks like where we can see I can only imagine the kitchen. There are a lot of other restaurants around to pick from. When you have that much competition around I would think cleaning and service would be a priority. read more

We were in town for a cheer competition and read the reviews online. Thought we would give it a try on our way out of town. BIG MISTAKE!!! Took over 30 minutes to be seated even with empty tables available. There was a 20 minute wait to get our drinks and place our order. Almost 40 minutes for our food to come out. We were a party of 3 adults and 2 children and there was an issue with every single food order. Cheddar burger came with no cheddar; so they brought out a cold piece of cheese on a plate. Spaghetti and meatballs came with no meatballs and no fork. Waffle came with no syrup or fork. Patty melt was served with ice cold burger, cold cheese and raw onions. Yuck. Nobody ever received silverware or a drink refill. My favorite part was when the server came by to ask how everything was and was walking off before she finished her sentence. That's the only time she checked on us. Another server had to bring some of our missing food items and complained to us that she wasn't our server. First off, our waitress was great and deserves more than 3 stars but the food doesn't. Atmosphere was cool- lives up to it's "Diner" title. Between the 4 if us, we ordered an angus burger, elk burger, regular cheese burger and a spaghetti. We did order the burgers, all 3, medium but at least 2 were BRIGHT red inside. We ate them anyway... Onion rings had a good flavor but full of grease. Fries were cool. Won't be rushing back but it's not crossed off our list of eateries. read more
