Felt a little sorry for the guy working here as he seemed to be manning the whole place alone-service therefore was a little slow. The Mayan chai was possibly the sweetest tea I've ever had and made my teeth hurt a little. But it was nearby and was open early so helps if you need that caffeine hit.

No go if you are looking for a good coffee. As other reviewers have mentioned, the coffee is gas station quality. Probably won't be back.

They have the yummiest turkey and cheddar ciabatta sandwich. The aoli on it is amazing! Always great atmosphere in there!

Friendly service but the coffee is not very good. It tastes like the coffee machine at a gas station.

So fortunate to have this convenient and excellent coffee available. Coffee is way less expensive than S'bucks and exponentially better!

The coffee was cheap but also tasted cheap. A little let down since the reviews were great. Was hard to find at first.

Enjoyed the dark roast and coffee cake. Fast service mid morning. Parking in the area was not easy.

We recently stopped by Cafe La Vies and ended up having such a fun experience…read more I ordered the banana matcha, which was absolutely delicious. The banana flavor paired surprisingly well with the matcha and made for a really refreshing drink. It was one of those drinks that I immediately knew I'd order again. But honestly, the highlight wasn't even the drink itself. It was the adorable little elephant vessel it came with. They put dry ice inside and then pour water into it, making it look like the elephant is blowing smoke out of its trunk. My daughter was completely mesmerized. Watching her reaction was worth the visit all by itself. What I loved most was that it wasn't just a gimmick. The drink was actually good, and the elephant made such a cute keepsake afterward. It felt like getting both a treat and a souvenir. The café itself had a fun atmosphere, and it was one of those places that felt a little different from your typical coffee or tea stop. Helpful tip: If it's your first visit, order one of the drinks served in the elephant. The presentation alone is worth it, especially if you're visiting with kids. Between the banana matcha and my daughter's excitement over the smoking elephant, this ended up being one of those unexpectedly memorable stops we'll be talking about for a while.

I was excited…read morebecause I've been seeing it advertised all over IG and then all the signs and what not in the store. I walk up to the counter and asked for the Mango Sticky Rice and the guy who helped me, idk what his name is had an attitude and was like we're out of it. I'm thinking to myself, sooo if you KNOW you're of something that's popular and on the menu, maybe you should put a sign somewhere stating that it's currently NOT AVAILABLE. Then I had to call back home to let my siblings know that the initial drink they wanted was not available, so they can choose something else and again the guy taking the order wad annoyed. My siblings decided upon the Mangonada with brown sugar boba and the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. Unfortunately, brown sugar boba was not available was all out for the day according to the cashier.. but no sign stating that they were sold out. I had to call my siblings again to let them know and ask if they wanted crystal boba as a replacement. To keep the order going while I was calling them, I asked for a mochi waffle and the guy threw his hands up annoyed and was like do you not want the boba for drink? I told the cashier I'll have the crystal boba instead of the brown sugar since it's currently unavailable, and the guy goes with an attitude... soo do you want the crystal boba? I said yess...yes I do. The Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha was alrightt. It is definitely not all that it is hyped up to be. The drink IMO was just a basic iced matcha with chocolate drizzle on the side of the cup and the pistachio foam that barely tasted like pistachio.

They are secretly hiding a gourmet kitchen in there. I only came for coffee, but the food envy was real the second I saw the dishes on the other tables. I ended up ordering the steak and eggs with an iced herbal tea. And what can I say? SO. GOOD. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the culinary mashup of kimchi and chimichurri was immaculate. I loved it so much I literally couldn't leave without buying a second order to-go for my mom. Yes, THAT good. This is a must-visit if you're in Sacramento. I'm already plotting my return to try their popular Vietnamese coffee.

One thing I especially appreciated is how they treat pets. It's clear they care, every dog that came in got a treat, which was a really nice touch. The coffee is excellent, not over-roasted like in a lot of places. While you're waiting in line, they even offer samples, which is awesome. I had a latte with regular milk and was very happy with it. As for the food, the bacon and onion croissant really stood out, very tasty ( though I imagine it would be even better warm ). The caramel apple cheesecake was also incredible, delicious and not overly sweet, even though the name might make you think otherwise. Overall, if you get a chance to stop by for breakfast, you definitely won't regret it. Thank you!

As typical with Temple Coffee, the quality of the drinks are top notch and really is the gold standard in Sacramento. Prices are on the higher side for these premium selections so be aware of that if you haven't been to a Temple before. This location is a bit smaller and has less unique features than other ones. It's perfectly serviceable for a cafe, but the ambiance isn't on par when you compare them. The service, however, was superb. I found the baristas there to be very friendly and warm. It's hard to go wrong with Temple, and if you/re looking for a great coffee drink and near this one, it's certainly worth the visit!

The employee was talking on their phone a bit throughout the time I was there, but I didn't mind since I was still deciding on a drink and not ready to order. I got the mocha drink and the Finjan coffee. I enjoyed both but I think I liked the mocha drink more. They had a wide variety of dessert that looked amazing. I want to come back and try them one day! They were absolutely mouth-watering, but too early in the day for me to have sweets. Their coffee house is quite large, with a lot of seating. It seems like a nice place to study! I loved that they had murals outside and that the nearby outside seating was also lovely. There is a wonderful aesthetic inside the shop and in the plaza it is located in.
