Cam came out to fix our radiant floor heating system. I analyzed the system and determined that there was air in it. He bled the system and got it working again! The basement is comfortable again. I had a difficult time finding a company that would work on radiant heating and was thankful for The Earth making the trip out to our place on the opposite side of Portland. There was an additional charge but super happy to have it working again. Cam was great and was happy to answer my questions and show me how to bleed the system of air myself, in case it happens again. read more

From his first visit to provide an estimate through many, many calls and emails to dial in the specifics and implement all the elements, Emir was unfailingly responsive, patient, and generous with his expertise. Kem both oversaw an elegant radiant PEX install as well as personally installing a beautiful combi-boiler setup. Ok, so the latest is that the Navion boiler is NOT rated for older circular loop radiator systems where water is recirculating through older radiators. Emir charged us $11,000 for installation of a system that was not going to last and that Navion will not stand behind and warranty in this application. Earth was never upfront about this, we learned from Navian and a boiler system engineer. The entire boiler system will need to be replaced. This is somehow our fault, Emir? read more

They are amazing humans who are not only extremely professional, but also care and have huge heart that is so rear to find in today's world. Our 86 year old neighbor lives by herself and Covid has been extremely hard for her. My husband and I usually help her with food and anything else she needs so that she can limit her virus exposure. This morning she knocked on our door at 11 am very scared and cold. She told us that the heat in her home is not working and that she is very scared. She tried to call some companies, but they told her that she needs to wait till January 30th to get any service. She was so scared of spending a night in her home in the winter without heat. My husband immediately went over to her home to check it out and found that the furnace was not working and only blowing cold air. We knew that with holidays being only days away it would be extraordinary hard to get any technician to help her out and we were very scared to let her spend night without heat. My husband called Earth Heating team and they did not hesitate. They answer our call within seconds and had solutions for us. They were also super busy, but they made time to come to her home and fix the furnace the same day. Within 2 hours of our call!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so reveled that our neighbor has heat on tonight and that people like the Earth Heating exist. They are true heroes, miracle workers. If you ever have heating problems give them a call. For several years I used another company to service my 20+ year old heat pump. Several months ago the unit stopped blowing cold air and I received a $1200 estimate to repair the compressor. At the advice of a coworker I called Earth Heating for a second estimate. I believe it was Emir that came to check the unit, within 15 minutes he told me the compressor was fine and all I needed was a $80 capacitor. Emir replaced the part and the unit has been working fine ever since. Sadly that type of honesty is not as common in the service industry as it should be. Emir and Cam checked the connection, insulated the pipes around the SANDEN Heat Pump and got the SANDEN Heat Pump operational. Converted from oil to gas last year and got several quotes. The Earth Heating came in thousands lower to install gas lines, the furnace, and remove the oil tank and lines. They even offered to hook up my propane fireplace to the new gas line. I was skeptical, wondering why are these guys so much less expensive? But because of the yelp reviews I went for it, and i was not disappointed. There were more expensive models the other contractors tried to push, but there was no upsell pressure here--in fact Emir recommended the simpler model for my little house. The customer service and follow up is top notch and continues long after the final payment was made. I come from a construction family and we are pretty picky about a sanitary installation. Take a look at the pics on yelp--Emir is a craftsman. That seems pretty rare these days. Being a woman sometimes I'm treated like I wouldn't know what I'm talking about when it comes to mechanics even though I'm an engineer--but I got nothing but respect from these guys. We needed to add duct work to a 1909 bungalow that did not have it upstairs. There were otherwise 3 finished bedrooms that needed heat.
