Stopped here on the way in to Mammoth. We have a dog so we usually come here so we can sit outside. Really nice because the sun in the afternoon catches the front of the place. The mammoth brewing Company beer selection is awesome. The food from the EATery is delicious. We had the pulled pork sandwich and the not a Philly cheesesteak. Each one was delicious. Our waiter even brought out of burger patty for our puppy. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The only negative, and the reason I gave it four stars, and not five, was it's a bit pricey. Burgers are $15 and they don't come with fries. read more

Located inside of the Mammoth Brewing location, the Eatery is the perfect compliment to all of the great beers (and root beers) served here. There is plenty of free parking in the lot and ample seating both inside and outside. The day we went, we unfortunately went at the wrong time, as they purposely were holding up the ordering line as the kitchen was slammed with orders so the quick meal ended up taking over an hour with half of that time standing in line (thankfully with a beer in hand). The food came out and the bbq chicken pizza and chicken salad were both good sized portions and tasted fine. The food wasn't overwhelming as far as something to brag about, but the food was definitely a lot better than fast food type joints and combined with the proximity of great beers makes it a good find. read more

The food is decent. A little overpriced but what in Mammoth isn't right ? They have a couple of other problems to contend with. First of all, you should be able use your credit card all in one place, food and drink at the Eatery or food and drink at the bar. It's ridiculous that I have to go retrieve my credit card back from the bar when I have an open tab to use it to pay for my food at the Eatery. I was made to look like some kind of fool because I held up the whole food ordering line when I had to do this on Thursday. Second of all, if you're using a credit card they make you tip before you've even sat down-right there at the ordering counter. How will I know the food will be good ? How will I know the service will be good ? If I tip low they'll give me bad service, if I tip high I have to risk getting good or bad service. I like to tip after Ive had my whole experience NOT right at the same moment I order. Thirdly, if I did just tip 20%, when the waitress asks me if I need anything and I say Id like some water it would be nice if she went and got it and not tell me to go to the "water station". The water station makes sense if you're just getting beers from the bar, the bartenders shouldn't have to go get you free water, I get it. But if you are ordering food and tipping 20% in a waitress to food buying customer situation the least they can do is walk over to the "water station" themselves. Especially after they just asked me if I needed anything. Otherwise, why even ask me ? read more

Food is great, bar servers always friendly, pleasant to chat with while waiting for take away orders. Mistakes with takeaway, however are not well managed by wait staff, by the time they get it right your other food is cold and they don't own or take responsibility for their mistakes-no apology, comp fries or dessert....nada. Being local an apology is all that's needed but somehow it always feels like we're the one who caused their error! I'd expect this from a fast food joint but not our local brewery and not when your spend $15 for a burger! read more

I love MBC and the eatery! Been lots and lots of times and will definitely continue to go. I was a little bummed they don't have any options to change their items to a gluten free alternative. My boyfriend and I visited recently and I was all excited to show him my favorite place to eat but they had changed the menu so much and given that he's gluten free we ended up just ordering fries and root beer. Would love to see them expand their menu to at least give some more options for people with dietary restrictions. Otherwise an amazing place! The beer is great and the food is amazing! read more

Very chill place to hang out after a long day on the slopes. The menu is small but varied, and can accomodate the diverse tastes of a large group. We went here twice during our stay in Mammoth. Great food and dog friendly! We loved the peach and goat cheese flatbread and the pulled pork sandwich, but there were plenty of other things we didn't get that looked awesome. There's a good vibe here, nothing too snobby- forks in a jar on the table. Just plain good food. A bit on the pricier side, but food is great quality. I had the damn good burger and it was delicious. It's a different setup than your normal restaurant and slightly confusing but it's still great! You get in line, order what you want and take a number to your table. The benefit to that is you can sit in the brewery, try all the beer you want and have a delicious meal! The environment and outside appearance looked like it was going to be a friendly chill place with great food but shortly after entering I realized differently. The hostess cashier and waitresses were rude and short with me. I chocked it up to maybe it being a bad weekend for them with the opener but the food should be amazing. I was wrong again. I ordered the spicy pork belly sandwich and it was horrible. The bread was hard and flavorless, way too much carrots and cabbage in it. I ordered a sandwich not coleslaw. The meat was too sweet and the jalapeños were too few and weren't spicy. What a rip off. read more

The beer is great, but the bar is on a different yelp page. The food here is sub-par. Don't come here for the food, especially if you are not into red meat. There is no fish or chicken on the menu, and the veggie items are beyond disappointing. Tempura peppers are a greasy mess, no tempura batter. Tator tots and fries are lukewarm and boring. Salad is ok. Self serve at restaurant service prices. Do not eat here, but have fun at the bar! read more

Tons of people over the Labor Day weekend, so service was a bit spotty. No refills on drinks, no one refilled bbq sauce on communal condiment table. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which was meh without said bbq sauce. Slaw was tasty but could've done without the jalapenos. Had heartburn all night. Would not go back - not a fan of the open seating and there's too many other choices around. Oh, btw, I know it's basically a bar, but the place reeked of spilled beer. The food is great but the service was horrible. You wait in line and order at a counter. But the guy at the counter kept running back and forth to the kitchen for some reason so the line was very slow. When our food was served, well, only one of us got served. Environment is hit or miss- the building is cool, but there's not much traditional seating. There is lots of bar type seating, but can be difficult to seat more than 2 people together. Everything we had was delicious including the Irish Caesar salad, tater tots (homemade), short rib pasta, and bison hamburger. The only complaint would be that everything is heavily salted. You order food at a counter and they bring it out to you, but once they do, don't plan on getting any help after that point. When we were leaving there was a long line of folks trying to order food and they were telling people they weren't accepting any new orders!!!! This place was amazing. Big fan of the half brew pub half eatery vibe in general. We were reasonably hungry, but not too crazy after a big lunch. Waffle fries were solid, pork dish is off the charts -- Asian vibe with an decidedly American feel. And DEFINITELY get the Irish Caesar Salad, that thing is baller (though I won't tell you it's healthy). Can't not mention that the Bears are great too. Epic IPA is solid, and the tastings and seasonal brews were worth the price. read more

Was here for a weekend and staying just up the road at an Airbnb. Was looking for a dog friendly place and this was one of the top rated places that popped up. Ended up having to get the food to go so can't attest to the experience when bringing dogs, but there were plenty of dogs in the patio area. I will say the food was AMAZING. So good that we ate there both nights we were in town. I got the carne asada fries both times. That beer cheese that is used, ughhh, I still have dreams about that cheese. So good. My parents both got the philly cheesesteak sandwich and were very pleased with it (very particular eaters, not easy to impress). The only small downside, maybe it was the weekend we went, but there was a bit of a wait to order food. Everyone seems to have discovered Mammoth's hidden gem. Getting beer was quick, but the line for food was 30 mins the first night and 40 mins the second night. Had I not known what was awaiting, I might not have stayed but it was definitely worth the wait. Planning my next trip soon. Even if just for the day to have some more of that beer cheese! read more

After reading the good reviews we decided to make the Eatery our first dinner during our Mammoth visit. We ordered the lobster corn dogs, regular tots, and Philly cheese steak sandwich. Now the breakdown, the tots are not like the normal tots you know, they're slightly larger, inside was a mushy version of mashed potatoes, and wasn't what I wanted from a tot. The taste was not bad, I would even lean towards saying they were even a little tasteless in the middle, but just didn't like the it. When we ordered the lobster corn dogs, we were excited about such a unique menu item. When we received our order we were so disappointed to see MINI corn dogs. The menu does not mention how small these corn dogs are. My boyfriend had ordered this as a a meal and ended up having to eat half my steak sandwich! Aside from the size, the lobster corn dogs weren't good either similar to the tots I wasnt wowed at all. This was extremely disappointing. Now onto the Philly steak sandwich. This was our favorite item from our order. I found the overall taste wasn't overly stimulating to my taste buds however it was still really good. The steak was perfectly cooked, good portion and not a heavy sandwich that philly sandwiches usually are. I really enjoyed it. Overall, if you're into "gourmet" bar food its worth a try.
