Omg I'm obsessed! She has been the most careful nail tech I have ever had! She takes her time to explain the process and shows you a variety of colors to pick from when you show her a picture of what you like. She can pretty much bring your vision to life! Follow her IG page to see more of her work. @thefamousbeauty.ca 10/10 if you were looking for a new Nail tech stop the search come here! It was what I asked for and it was given . She took her time . And the pedicure the deluxe pedicure omg so worth it . I can't wait to go back
I live in Orange County and my nails were lifting so I needed to get them done asap! I yelped around and stubble upon, The Famous Beauty. I texted the number provided on yelp at around 9 pm and Clara replied back instantly. Booked it for the next day with no issue and Clara gave me my quote and everything was set! I am now back home and I can't stop staring at my beautiful nail work she did! Clara is crazy talented. It took her ONE HOUR ONE THE DOT for her to finish my nail designs and she is such a perfectionist that she made sure every nails looks good and perfect. I especially love how she shaped them. She made this sexy curl for the nails which i've never seen any nail salon doing that type of curl. I WISH I lived closer to Clara. I love my nail technician back home BUT i am in love with Clara's nail work and designs. Whenever i'm around this area I'll definitely be stopping by. Clara is the best!! I've been seeing her for over a year now and so thankful to have found her. Great quality, amazing attention to detail, and my nails stay on with no lifting for 3-4 weeks. Love that we can make appointments online as well, so quick and easy!
I wanted to wait a full three weeks before posting a review as I have had many gel manicures look great the first few days or week and then start to chip or peel. Clara is fantastic! I showed her what I wanted and she executed it perfectly! It has been years since I have had a nail tech as good as her. Either the manicures chip or peel and don't last, they are sloppily done and the sides are not painted, or I don't get what I asked for. Not with Clara. We talked about it and she was upfront that likely the picture of the nails I brought her were done with dipping powder and I was asking for gel. I love the pink gel polish she chose and she asked me what color glitter I wanted and showed me several options and we decided on the rose gold glitter. I am going back to see her this weekend and can't wait!
After seeing pictures on Instagram, I decided to take the chance and go to a new nail place. Clara was very friendly, however my nails were definitely not the best. Uneven texture, clumpy gel, and barely noticeable pink and white ombré. It definitely was not worthy of $55.00, not to mention the fact that it wasn't very sanitary. I got my nails done for a trip to vegas and it was disappointing, I had to go have them soaked off and plain gel put on my nails. My nails are now damaged and unevenly shaped due to her coffin shaping. Never again. My nails are thin and painful now and it ruined my trip. Update 6/14/21 My nails hurt because you filed the hell out of them and my skin. I showed you a Picture of what I was looking for in my nails and you acted like you new how to do them when you didn't. They were thick and uneven and clumpy gel over the top. I asked you to make then thinner and you said it's because my nails are curvy. I have never been told that before by any nail tech. I had to pay to have them removed because they looked hideous. I Have had many manicures and acrylics In my life and you didn't even cut or push back cuticles? What kind of service? For $55? The fact that I paid you then had to pay to get your "work" removed is unfair to me.

Recently got my acrylics filled and Clara did an amazing job! I have never gotten a fill since I don't usually get acrylics, but I was impressed how Clara I was able to make my nails look seamless. Her acrylics look very natural, and I am a fan of them now (usually I get dip). As always, I highly recommend Clara :)
Clara did my nails exactly as I wanted and I got so many compliments. I showed her a picture of what I was going for and she was able to replicate it perfectly. It's a relief to find someone who pays attention to detail and doesn't rush you out the door. Her rates are reasonable and she's appointment only & cash only. I highly recommend her
I've been going to Clara for almost 6 months now! She is the best in the East Bay. She is able to get all your beauty needs done!! I go to Clara for lash extensions and nails and each appointment, she is attentive, makes you feel comfortable and knows exactly what she's doing. I've been coming to see Clara for my past 3 sets and this last set let me tell you... im in LOVE. Clara is so kind and NONE of my nails have fallen off. I work at a warehouse so that is impressive! Please get a set by Clara she is literally the best i've ever had and very affordable!
I appreciate nail techs who work with you to ensure you get the best design. And Clara is definitely one of them. Tip: Clara's station is inside the 5150 Salon, in the back. If I hadn't read this tip from another review I honestly would've had a really hard time looking for her. I arrived on time for my appointment, but ended up having to wait about 20 minutes as she finished up with the customer before me. That was a bit frustrating, but Clara's personality and patience during my service helped ease that a bit. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she carefully went over each color with me. During the process, we did make a few changes - the base needed to be lighter, and I decided to add one more color in which working with Clara, we found the perfect glittery gold that went with the design. That last part really put the perfect finishing touch and I cannot be more happier with my nails. She was so detailed. She also does not rush, or handle your fingers/hand harshly. Total was $70 + tip (they also ask you to make a $10 deposit prior to the appointment). Would definitely visit her again. read more

Needed a new manicure after getting a botched one in NY, looked around Yelp and found this salon, so I decided to check it out! She was very communicative, lots of options, patient, and worked through my indecisiveness when I couldn't figure out which design I exactly wanted. She really makes an effort to get to know you, overall had a pleasant experience. Eventually decided on acrylic extensions with dip powder, costs $65 +tip. read more

I've been living in Fremont for about a year trying to find a nail tech who knows how to properly shape. After several attempts at other salons, I finally found Clara who I've been going to for the last few months. Not only is she an expert in shape and design, but she's super friendly and easy to work with. I trust her and am always relaxed when getting my gel fill and regular pedi. She is by appointment only so I recommend booking well in advance for your preferred date/time. She's located in a plaza with ample parking too which is a plus. Updated review on June 30, 2022: Aside from her flawless nail tech work and artistry, Clara keeps my nails and toes healthy which is equally important. I found this little shop for the first time in August of 2021. My best friend asked me for a nail date - that was all part of a plan, knowing that my boyfriend wanted to propose. Months later, we returned to get our nails done before my wedding. We absolutely loved the designs that Clara suggested and she was able to replicate (and make better) some of the ideas we had in our minds about what we wanted. Amazing service, responds super quickly, and can help you with whatever you want done for your manicures. 100% recommend! I'm so happy to have found this place for my nails. read more

*I'm on my husbands account - This is Remy *CLARA IS THE BEST. I wanted Old English numbers on my left hand - which she's never done before - but jumped right in it with enthusiasm. She's definitely an artist because look at that line work on the evil eye I wanted on my right hand? This is the cleanest mani and pedi that I've ever had. I love her work and conversation. She's the sweetest and I'm happy to finally found my nail woman! Thanks to my one of my main gurrrrols who referred Clara to me (Stacey). I chose a completely different color on my toes (gel pedi). Oh and, the leg and foot massage tho.. SO GOOD!!! She has so many colors and designs, you won't be disappointed. I also appreciate the clean space she provides. Thanks again Clara!! I wanted to wait at least a week to post a review. Let's put it this way, I can be pretty picky about nail artists. I hate to pay $60+ for nails that in less than a week start having bubbles around my cuticles and look bad. Once I met with Clara at her salon I spoke to her about my concerns that I mentioned above and she was so helpful and did a brilliant job. I took pictures after the appointment and today after 8 days. You see yourself there is no difference other that a bit of growth of my nails. I finally found someone who knows how to do nails and listens to the clients. Love my nails and can't wait to go back! read more

Long story short, I had my nail girl for 10yrs in Salinas CA I moved to Bay Are and needed to find my new nail girl. After looking and trying to get an appointment during the holiday season, Clara was the one that responded with an appointment. She responded with a reasonable time and was flexible. I tried her out with some grinch nails and she surprised me with her artistic skills. I been with her since then almost a yr. I love how sweet she is and how flexible with her schedule. She makes you feel welcome and great service. I have also done pedicure with her and she is great. Her prices are reasonable, I had paid from $65-85 depending on the nails you choose. In addition she is always learning new techniques and getting updated on the nail world. read more

Clara is my favorite person to do my nails!! She is so friendly and professional and I love to support women-owned local businesses. She always responds super fast within the hour (almost immediately which I like bc I am impatient). It is so convenient to just send a text to schedule instead of having to call. She works very fast and precise. She has an eye for great detail and perfectly shapes my acrylic sets every time. Just send her a picture of a design or shape that you want and she will match it or make it even better! Also for the quality of work, you cannot beat her price! A new set of acrylics start at $45 and $60 if you want customized designs. I have been coming to her for several months now, and she is consistently excellent. I drive 30 minutes to her for my nails for the peace of mind, knowing I will always have great looking nails. Also, they are pet friendly and my pup gets to come with me. :) I 100% recommend Clara. These nails lasted me a month plus!!! I have never had nails last that long due to oily nail beds and from washing my hands do much. I recommend coming here if your in that same situation. Also I get why people do down deposits but she understood with how my job I couldn't but she made it work and I'm going again for valentines nails !!!! read more

Clara is super responsive and flexible with timing. I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she did an exact replica with acrylic! Her attention to detail is spectacular--she was very careful to match the thickness of each french tip and each hand.
