A few personal favorites are the Haystack Blue Cheese Fries, the fish tacos, and the Prickleberry Spritz--one of my all-time favorite cocktails (and it's so pretty too)! The service is always great, and the prices are fair for the high-quality food. It's almost always crowded, and there's definitely a reason for that! :D

LONG BEACH California!…read more Quick lunch stop and all I can say is it did not disappoint, not only does this restaurant offer so many options which was very hard to choose from because everything sounded so good. The service was absolutely amazing. I ordered one of their pizzas the mushroom pizza to be exact and I added pepperoni and well I say this was one of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time. I would definitely order it again. It is a nice size. It is filling two slices had me satisfied and was able to take the rest home for my drink. We ordered the cactus cooler which was very refreshing and prepped just right no dull taste or bitterness, but got the job done the ambience. I love the decor. I love how it had seating inside and out very spacious for the most part in clean. I will definitely go back and if you Long Beach California I recommend you stop by and give it a try. They do offer happy hour and another special specials.

Principles matter! I reserved the back room for an NJB end of season pizza party. Called in advance…read moreand was told a $50 DEPOSIT was required to hold it. Okay fine, no big deal, because almost all people know that a deposit is just that and can be used toward the bill or given back. Here we are day of, and a few hours before we were to have the room, was advised the coach is sick and can't make - hence no awards given out or gift given to coach - so I called to see if I could cancel and was told that I would not be given my $50 back since I didn't cancel 24hours in advance and they had to call someone in for this - again a DEPOSIT. So I say, okay, keep the hold we will still go and just enjoy some pizza with the team. Welp, we get there, order $330 worth of food/drinks and I asked about why the $50 is not deducted from the bill and was told that it was a fee. Like, excuse me? Cole, our very attentive and kind server apologized that I was not told this. This is not okay! This is not how business should be conducted. To not be transparent with the customer is completely unprofessional and out of line. Will not return here. Teams - beware! Owners - Please do better. Dino - Not trying to go back and forth and I appreciate your prompt response, however, just so you are aware, I was never told this was a $50 fee, nor did I sign something regarding your "policy". In addition, I had to request the AC be turned on and that happened about 45 minutes to an hour after our arrival. Nevertheless, just showing up would have been best considering there was plenty of seats available in your regular dining area. So thank you for your response and I wish you all the best.

We were seated and our order was placed the menu is lengthy. I opted for the fish and chips . We ordered drinks which were excellent. My fish was perfectly prepared with a generous side of fries. All served piping hot. Decor. is modern and not excessive with numerous screams showing sports. The daytime crowd was older the day we visited.

He was attentive and warm, making us feel completely taken care of even with a packed house. :) Amanda was helpful and on top of everything, and Abe, one of the managers, always has a quiet, steady competence about him that makes the whole place feel grounded. The team works together beautifully. And the food! Gorgeous, generous portions, hot and perfectly executed even during the rush. Steve and I love Palapa. The Palapa team makes it feel like home (if home was overlooking the marina with palm trees in the foreground and people bringing us delicious food we didn't have to make ourselves). :)

Every single time I needed something, whether it was to order or ask for the check, I had to go up to the bar when my server was there to ask cuz I already waited hella. She was super nice so no complaints in that regards, just not good at checking in with our table at all. Even getting a menu took forever. Idk if it's cuz they're short staffed but the service def needs to be improved. The poke was well seasoned and fish was fresh. Great shareable item. I would come back again cuz I liked my friends drinks that I tried (def would not get the lavender yuzu martini again), the food, and the outdoor seating vibes. Docking stars for service and cuz how bad my martini tasted. Hopefully it's a better overall experience next time.

When we arrived we were told there was no chef so only a few items could be made from the menu. I chose a flatbread but was then told they had no gluten free bread. So we had to get the charcuterie which was so small and cost $30. Really ridiculous price for something with a few pieces of meat, cheese, grapes and nuts. The wine was good, and the tastings were generous and I know it is a wine bar but the day was really spoiled by not having a lunch there. I don't think I would go there again. If you do make sure they have a chef before you go if you want to eat.

It was comfortable and casual, and seemed very popular with the locals. They didn't have a ton of vegetarian options, but we got the Baked Brie & jam with grilled bread and the Eggplant and Olive tapenade, also with grilled bread. I was excited to see escargots on the menu, but they were unfortunately out. We had glasses of a great red blend--alas, I didn't get the name. Service was friendly and prompt. We're not huge wine people but would definitely like to come back and try again on a regular night.
