I'm writing this review to not only inform others but to me it's worth the $200 I was going to get back in returning products I have never used. I went in and got a makeup lesson by Inette on Sunday April 14, 2019. I informed her I had to film it bc I have memory issues bc of a car accident I was in. Maybe that's why she took advantage of me. Not only did I pay $150 for the makeup lesson but Inette was texting people back and fourth during my entire lesson. Not only was she answering texts the whole time, she was on the phone with her bank for 15-20 min for a fraud call. All these calls and texts caused her to go over the time allotment so she charged me $60 for HER MISTAKE. So I really paid $210 for my lesson. Yet, you couldn't wait until after my lesson, but yet you charge me for it? So for every 30 min over you get charged $30 then she told me well it's $50 now for every 30 min which is a complete joke. So let me get this straight, she responds to calls and texts that take up time she should have dedicated to her customer so you're makeup lesson is interrupted the entire time AND you're charged for it! Please explain how that is a good business practice? Before and after the lesson I explained to her I had a lot of products and tools already, but she kept telling me during the entire lesson not to use cheap brushes etc, how bad it is, and never spend your money on it. When we get done with the lesson she literally puts a bunch of products in a pile that I specifically told her I have a lot of already. I end up purchasing some of the products reluctantly and told her I'd text her later bc I didn't think I needed all the products. When I texted her about the products, as stated before, she never responded to me. She also never stated when purchasing the products that these are non refundable. She opened a bunch of the products and she even cut some of them with a razor blade without asking me. The obvious thing most makeup artists do is ask their customer if it's ok before opening, damaging, and using the products they are buying. She did it on purpose so I couldn't return them. Not sure if she needed the extra money for her London trip, but she explained to me that's why she never texted me back when I asked to return the products I didn't want. I had texted her the very next day after my lesson to return my products, but she never once hit me back or responded to me. Wouldn't you let someone purchasing something from you know what your return policy is? Especially if I'm literally telling you to your face I really don't need these. She told me she couldn't text me back bc she was on vacation. Yet, if you can text/post on social media you can text your client back. Almost a month went by and nothing. So, I texted her. Once again when I made my purchase I was not made aware that returns were not allowed. I even checked the site because she wasn't responding to me. There was no return policy there or on my receipt. Of course now there is a no returns or exchange clause on her site after I informed her I could find no such policies anywhere. Funny she did not want to text back and fourth and she wanted me to call her. This obviously bc she doesn't want people to see how rude she was being to me, going back and fourth fighting me on returning my products. All she kept saying is "I'm a nice person, I'm a nice person I've never had to deal with this." Well Inette, I don't deserve this and if you were such a "nice" person you would have returned my products with no problem but you just kept being mean to me and going back and fourth with me. Then the comment you made to me really showed me your TRUE COLORS! You can switch this around and say I was being rude to you but I really want everyone to know the type of person you really are. You even made a SNARKY COMMENT BASICALLY LAUGHING AS YOU SAID IT that you'll "return my products since apparently I really need the money." Really what type of business owner/person says that to a customer? You pressure people to purchase your products and one day you might actually do this to a woman who truly can't afford it. I just pray you don't shame her the same way you TRIED to shame me. You should be ashamed of yourself. You are a grown ass woman saying that to someone and better yet a business owner. You disgust me!!! Your rude and unprofessional business practices are a joke. Your comments about "really needing money" shows what you think of people who actually might be in need. And just so you know as a dental hygienist, your hourly rate is less then what I make an hour. It was never about the money, it's about the principle of it all. TIP: If you guys go to MAC you can have a makeup lesson for $100 you get a FREE mascara and you can have 25% OFF of PRODUCTS for the entire month. And get this, it's UNINTERRUPTED!!! OH and you can return the products if you don't use them!! read more

I was going to a fancy Christmas Eve party and I didn't want to even touch my face or hair because lets be honest when you're in a hurry or going to any event your hair and makeup rarely turns out how you'd like it to. My best friend had an appointment here last weekend for her civil ceremony to get her hair and makeup done. She is 6 months pregnant so they postponed their wedding until next year and just did a ceremony for now. I went with her to her appointment. We walked into the salon and no one came out for a few minutes and were quick to tell us that I wasn't allowed in due to Covid. Although there is a sign on the door that says that masks are NOT required. I explained she was getting married and we came together and one lady was pleasant. All others were completely rude and spent time telling us how it explains it on their website. Well sorry, but I don't spend time reading websites... nor do they. They then tell my pregnant friend that she can't bring her own water bottle in due to Covid and it needs to stay in her car YET they offer her a bottle of water. This makes zero logical sense. They want to exchange a water bottle between two people which exchanges germs but you can't keep you own?? No logic. In all three years of Covid, I have never heard that. Nonetheless, they continued to be so rude. They also told my friend she needed to book a bridal appointment although this wasn't her wedding. She wasn't getting an updo. She got her hair blown out and curled. These ladies have no clue how to run a business. I wouldn't recommend them. read more
