After having a great experience, we went back to The Golden Swan for dinner. This time it did not start well. We were expecting to be in The Main Dining Room but were given a table in The Wallace Room. We had made the reservation through OpenTable and the host explained that OpenTable does not differentiate between the rooms and they had assigned us to a table in the Wallace Room and they were full in the Dining Room. We were disappointed especially since the Duck entree that we came back for is not on the menu in The Wallace Room and we had liked the ambiance of The Dining Room. However, Patrick the Manager came over to us and told us he tried to move us but it was completely full in the Dining Room. He apologized for the situation and made sure that we were allowed to order the Duck. He then checked on us a few times during dinner to make sure we were doing okay. Patrick certainly helped to make a difference and we ended up enjoying our dinner. As for the food, we loved again the Foie Gras Mousse, the Roasted Duck Duo, the Duck Fat Fries and the Sticky Toffee Pudding - all terrific!

Out with my besties!! Always fun times and The Golden Swan did not disappoint this evening. Promptly seated at a nice table by the window by the manager to celebrate my bestie birthday . Our server Isaiah was amazing. He told us about happy hour drink menu and entree specials for the evening. Decor was simple and very clean. However, the Apps and entrees we had was finger linking darn good lol. We started with the spicy Hummus with naan and the Artichoke Drip with crab meat with bruschetta. I had the fish and chips as did the birthday girl. My other friend had the filet branzino and we shared a side of roasted cauliflower with a lemon cream sauce. Service was great. The staff was highly attentive and always filling up our cups. I truly enjoyed our visit here and will definitely comeback for another after work outing. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who took excellent care of us. Highly recommended this place

Birthday Brunch at The Golden Swan FIRST ...Angelica you are lovely. I recently celebrated my birthday brunch at The Golden Swan and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was just me and three close friends and everything about the morning felt incredibly special from entrance to our last bite of dessert. The ambience beautiful, chic, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. Felt like old Hollywood decor. It's the kind of space where you instantly feel relaxed but still know you're somewhere special. The overall vibe made it perfect for a celebration. Now, the food... truly amazing. I had the pancakes (because I will always choose pancakes), and they did not disappoint...fluffy, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgent. Each of my friends ordered something different, and not a single plate missed the mark. From the appetizers to the mains and even the cocktails (I had an espresso martini for the first time) everything felt well executed and fresh. You can tell they really care about the quality of their menu. The service was also top tier. Our server was attentive without being intrusive and had great recommendations. She genuinely seemed happy to help us celebrate. It made the experience feel that much more personalized. Another bonus is the location. The Golden Swan is super easy to find and situated in a great part of NYC perfect for walking off brunch with a little shopping after. We strolled around the neighborhood for a while afterward, which really rounded out the day nicely. Between the food, the vibe, and the flawless service, it's a spot I'll definitely be returning to IF I can get a reservation as this one was hard to come by.

Wow, this place was great! After reading great things about this spot, I'm glad I was finally able to go. I had the pancakes, which were incredible! The perfect flavor of a slight tartness and sweetness, along with an evident richness. The texture was also very good - slightly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. These were very filling on their own! I also had a side order of scrambled eggs and those were delicious - fresh and buttery! This is a charming and cozy restaurant. Perfect for brunch with a date or small group of friends. The service was warm and attentive. I'd definitely visit this place again!

We flew all the way to New York from Los Angeles to spend Christmas in New York. We wanted to book an exceptional restaurant to spend Christmas evening in. We chose the golden Swan. Guess what they were closed! So we could've booked any number of fabulous restaurants instead but we didn't have anywhere to eat on Christmas because this place was allowing booking yet we're not even open!!!! Extremely unprofessional and inappropriate and screwed up.

Salmon - such a wonderful dish

Wonderful food! We were seated in the upstairs side room where there were only two tables and we enjoyed this privacy! The duck mouse and duck entrees were absolutely delish as well as the sticky toffee pudding. Another member of our party had the salmon and was equally happy! Can't wait to return to have the exact same meal!

    Humus very good

Quick drink with humus, not bad. Limited wine choice by glass limited draft beers(3) and espresso martini that was very sweet. Humus was excellent but took a while, it's a scene for wealthy. 3 1/2 points.

A really delicious meal in the casual dining downstairs casual dining area. Delicious food and great service. What more do you need?

My husband booked dinner for Christmas. They took our reservations, confirmed it and keep texting that they're looking forward to see us in 30 mins. We came, saw an empty closed restaurant, of course, nobody picked up the phone. How come they can take a reservation, confirmed it on a date when they're closed. We can book any fabulous restaurant to spend Christmas! This is so unprofessional! This screwed up our Christmas dinner!

Beautiful, golden space with delicious food (amazing burger and pasta) and inventive, flavorful cocktails. The toffee pudding dessert is a must try! Service was decent.

I came here to throw down on some seafood and that's exactly what we did. I found out about this place because one of my favorite TikTok foodies posted that she came here when she was visiting from Chicago. It was also my friend's birthday so we figured we'd check it out. If you come with a group of 4 or more, including the birthday person, they eat for free, which is a pretty nice perk. This place lived up to every bit of the hype. We did the $125 option which includes lobster. If you have people in your group who are on the fence about spending the extra money, just remind them it's only about $35 more and that's basically the cost of one lobster anywhere else. Here you're getting unlimited lobster. The food literally just kept coming. At one point we were running out of room on the table. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff noticed and started putting multiple items on the same plates instead of bringing everything out separately. It sounds small but it actually helped a lot and showed they were paying attention. The drinks weren't super strong but they definitely weren't weak either. If you love seafood, come hungry and bring a group. The vibes were great, the service was on point, and we left absolutely stuffed.

The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to others.

Even the restrooms were fancy, with heated seats and gold detailing. Since the menu is quite pricey, my friend and I came during lunch to take advantage of the slightly less expensive lunch menu. I ordered the Fried Branzino, which came on a sizzling cast iron platter. The server poured warm sweet and sour sauce all over it. This also came with a side of fries. The Fried Branzino was the whole fish and impressive looking. The Branzino was satisfyingly crispy, tender, flaky, and well seasoned. The sauce was nicely balanced and full of bold flavor. Fries were tasty, perfectly crunchy, and addicting. Service was wonderful throughout. Our waitress was welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything came out in a timely manner. I'm glad I had a chance to experience this fancy restaurant.

The flavors in the Manila clams were still a 10/10, but I was disappointed by the portion this time. I had more empty shells in my bowl than clams with meat! I'm not usually one to complain, but I honestly should have said something. The coconut crab curry, however, knocked it out of the park as always. The flavor is out of this world, and the succulent lumps of crabmeat practically melt in your mouth. Pro tip: If you order both dishes, mix a little of the sweet basil clam sauce into the coconut crab curry. The combination is incredible! The Tongue & Cheek cocktail was divine mildly sweet, refreshing, and incredibly smooth, with a velvety texture from the egg white. Service was mixed this particular evening. The host came across as a bit rude and seemed to have an attitude, but thankfully, my bartender was attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating throughout the night. Despite a couple of misses, Fish Cheeks remains one of my favorites for its bold flavors, beautiful atmosphere, and consistently unforgettable coconut crab curry.

However, the roe deep inside wasn't fully cooked during the initial steaming process. Ambiance: This place has a nice ambiance, definitely very "New York" -- dark (you can't see how dirty the floor is) and loud music (maybe too loud). We sat upstairs (we had a reservation) and of all the people on the top there was a party of 4 (us), a party of 8 (all dudes celebrating something) and the rest of the tables were on a DATE - which I thought was funny. Service: We were served by Ann-Marie who was so delightful. She was kind, super nice, and took the time to speak to us (which is basically how we figured out she wasn't a native New York City person). She gave us good food suggestions and we were very happy with our selection. Food: Here is what we ordered * Steak Frites: My two boys got the steak frites and I have to say the steak was awesome! The fries were overflowing. * Caeser Salad with Salmon: My wife got the salad with Salmon (they only have a few salad options) and she enjoyed it. * Prawn and Crab Risotto: I got this and I have to say it was VERY bland. I wouldn't get this if you are looking for taste. I had to put salt and pepper on it to make it have any semblance of taste.
