In the casino area, they offer free self-serve drinks, which is convenient. For families, Cyber Quest is a great option, you can leave your kids to play for $15 an hour, with the option to purchase meals for them as well. They also have Apex, which was new to me, featuring a bowling alley and go karts, perfect for some added fun during your stay! The food at apex grill was decent as well. My only complaint is that I wish the pool was a little bigger and the buffet is a nice touch as well, but I did see flies in the dessert area which threw me off.

The front desk crew were super nice and helpful. When we were staying here there was a road closure due to snow storms, so people were scrambling to get rooms for the night. We already had reservations, and didn't have to worry. They gave us a fantastic room on the 6th floor number 607 (yes, laugh at the "6-7" joke). It was large with a king bed and a great view of the valley. All rooms are non smoking which is good as the casino is not. Rooms are reasonably priced during the week, but I feel they are overpriced on the weekends.

It was very clean, fully stocked with everything we needed, we had a comfortable bed and a full kitchen to work with. The water pressure in the shower was perfect too! The property and surrounding areas are beautiful and I believe it's well worth the price. I was able to bring my two pups with no issues. We didn't take advantage of the fire pit area because it was sprinkling out but we'll be back! Thank you for a great stay!

I also loved that check-in is at 2:00 (instead of the increasingly common 4:00!), and the electronic check-in was incredibly easy - no need to meet anyone, just use the provided code to access your cabin. They've also put a lot of thought into the property. There's a really nice common area with chairs, a fire pit, and games, and the cabins have TV and Wi-Fi. The only downside was the cooling unit in our cabin (unit #7). It worked great when we first arrived on a very warm day, but later started making a terrible squealing noise and stopped cooling properly, so we had to turn it off. The cabin got pretty warm, and unfortunately only one of the windows had a screen, so opening the others would have meant inviting all the local bugs in to spend the night with us. Other than that, we really liked Miners Camp and thought it was a charming, thoughtfully put-together little place. We'd definitely stay again - hopefully with a happy cooling unit next time!
