My wife ordered a Chicken Shawarma sandwich, and I got the Chicken Shawarma bowl. My wife liked the sandwich, and I enjoyed the bowl. Nicely seasoned chicken with a base of salad and Safron rice. Very filling, too. Also, their fries are very good. They are seasoned well and crispy, just the way I like them. We will definitely be back. Good, healthy food at a reasonable price, in a nice atmosphere. My only negative is that the AC was on cold enough for both of us to wish we had brought coats.

We ordered the grilled cheese with chicken sandwich and the chipotle turkey cold sandwich as a combo (with chips and a regular sized drink). The prices overall are great, especially the combo, considering the size of portions. Just a large drink alone is $2.99 but the combo is also $2.99, which makes for a reasonably affordable meal. The food came out shockingly fast...it almost didn't seem possible to see our food within moments of sitting down at the table. The grilled cheese was steaming, with freshly grated cheese melted to perfection. The grilled chicken was nicely encased in the cheese. However, after a few moments the cheese started to "coagulate" and it was not as fun to eat. It would be better if there was some sauce inside, the chicken was seasoned or a tomato, just something to break up the richness and tone down the heaviness. Overall, we deeply appreciated the fresh cheese but the sandwich was pretty bland. My chipotle turkey sandwich was huge....way larger than I expected. It was stacked with thinly sliced fresh turkey, tender crisp tomatoes, shredded lettuce and chipotle mayo. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and delectable, though I could not taste any chipotle flavor. Chip selection was great and love that they have Coke products so I could enjoy a Diet Coke.

After ordering, we walked up to the register to get our drink cups and were quickly greeted by a smiling, lovely employee who promptly gave me our cups. I ordered the new Parmesan chicken club, which unfortunately does not come in a combo...so I ordered the 50/50 (fries and onion rings) and my husband had the charburger with cheese combo. Our food came out quickly and looked stunning! The cheese was melted around the grilled chicken, the bacon was crispy, ingredients were fresh and the bread was toasted to perfection. My only disappointment is that the 50/50 is almost $5 as a side....and I felt like there wasn't enough fries and only 4 small onion rings. Fries were mostly undercooked as well. However, the sandwich was absolutely delicious. My husband's charburger tasted great, but was a tad disappointed as the burger patty was much thinner than other visits. It was almost $34 for lunch and we almost feel like we didn't get our money's worth. My first time at this restaurant on a busy Saturday morning. I liked that they really spent a lot of time perfecting their menu and food quality! First, there was the fresh orange juice and offered expresso coffee drinks. Second, their booth setup was really good because they have a wall that actually adjusts, able to accommodate more or less people in a given booth. Although the restaurant was full, I did not feel crowded. Moving on to the food, it really was excellent because they serve real maple syrup (not a bunch of artificial sugary syrupy "mix") with their waffles and the egg selections were also very good. The service was also pleasant-our server was very attentive, yet did not rush or badger us. All the food that came out of the kitchen was really good. I am impressed. Honestly, I have gone to another local restaurant, like an up-scale IHOP, but they serve a lot of artificial ingredients. The Griddle, though, it tastes real and fresh! The vibe of the restaurant is "friendly neighborhood spot" and feels like home. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. These folks know how to do breakfast right and I cannot wait to go back.
