This place is amazing!!! We got tacos and they were not only tasty, but beautiful. I loved the edible flowers. And the homemade blue corn tortillas are life changing. It was so good that we came back for brunch. The chilaquiles were drool worthy and now a regular craving of mine. To top everything off, they make delicious lemonade in tasty flavors. we have loved the food here but after our last experience we probably wont be going back. we placed our order and food came out but it was not what we ordered. The server acted like we were an inconvenience so we kept the wrong order. when the bill came, she charged us the price of the food she brought not what we ordered and it was more expensive. Excellent experience at Lemon Tree on Parkcenter today! We had never been before and didn't know it existed because it is hard to see the sign from the road. We intended to go to an adjacent restaurant, but there was a wait, so we decided to give brunch at Lemon Tree a try. The interior is bright, very clean and exudes a crip, friendly vibe. The adorable, yet subtle decor adds an element of enjoyment to the experience. Our server, Caroline, was top notch - quick, friendly and efficient, but not overbearing. She explained the vegan and vegetarian options and gave a little bit of information on the locally sourced, homemade ingredients. The menu has a great selection, yet isn't overwhelming with too many choices. For drinks we had superb coffee, flavorful strawberry basil lemonade and our waters were kept full. Our meal consisted of the Lemon Tree Breakfast Sandwich, the Veggie Hash and the Tomato Basil Soup with the Turkey Boursin Sandwich. The food was prepared quickly and we appreciated our food being served at the same time. Portions were perfect with some left over for later. Wonderful meal setting us up for a lovely Sunday. The staff was engaged and eager to talk about what they were working on together. They believe that whatever their chef touches turns to gold! I'll reserve a review on everything for a few more visits, which will surely happen! They pointed out that this location in particular had an expanded menu over the other two spots. I ordered the mushroom cheesesteak sando with the beet salad and a strawberry basil lemonade. All my favorite flavors were in that sandwich with a great bun. It sounded messy but the thing held together until the last bite! Even the beets were perfectly cubed on the salad. The lemonade was made by the basil. It was potent and bold. The Lemon Tree Co Classic burger was the best burger I've ever had. It was delivered by Uber Eats and it maintained its quality. I can't wait to try it in the restaurant sometime. The Pork Habanero Mango BBQ Tacos had a strange taste like wet dog smells. I won't be eating those again. Everything had very unique flavors which was fun. I was served raw egg whites today... My friend and I decided to get brunch at lemon tree, I ordered the brunch flatbread and my friend ordered the sausage and pear sandwich. Unfortunately, when I got my food I realized the egg whites were uncooked. I've ordered this dish twice previously (once in the restaurant and once as takeout) and have never had any issues with the egg cook. I tried to be a good customer and power through, eating around 3 bites from the other side of the pizza before feeling too grossed out to continue. All I could think about was salmonella LOL. Obviously mistakes happen and I felt really bad telling our server, I don't think I've ever sent food back at a restaurant before. I told her the egg whites were uncooked and she said that's okay, some people don't like our eggs because they are marbled... And if she could get me anything else, I said sure and ordered a burger instead. After I had already placed my order she told me she couldn't comp the original dish and would apply an unspecified discount instead. I didn't know what to do so I just went with it, although it feels wrong to pay for uncooked egg whites. I later researched what marbled eggs are, and according to hot-thai-kitchen.com "The eggs are "marbled" in the pan, and cooked just until the whites are set and the yolks are still gooey,". Food I had the vegan Reuben and lemon tree salad. The sandwich was made with thinly sliced and pastrami spiced sweet potatoes. It was VERY good. My only critique is too much mustard. Because they use stone ground mustard, a little goes a long way! The salad was just as good. The lemon vinaigrette wasn't tart or bitter or overwhelming. It was perfect. Service I was the only one there because they were nearing close when I came in. They workers made sure I was taken care of and didn't want for anything during my short visit. Price For the salad, sandwich, and a raspberry lime lemonade the total was about $25 (with a tip). Not a bad price for a healthy, hearty meal. read more
