Soooo I've been wanting to try this place for a while and it absolutely did NOT disappoint! We went in on a Sunday around 1:15 ish, everyone working was super welcoming! The store was well kept and clean. I got a combo regular platter and it was enough food for two meals in my opinion. The lettuce was fresh and not wilted, the meat was tender and flavorful, and the rice was simply delicious. Now I will say the hot sauce is nothing to play with, use it sparingly lol the white sauce is a must have! I also got a passion fruit lemonade it was very, very refreshing but not super sugary. We came here on a Monday afternoon right before the lunch rush, so there was no wait and ample parking. Ambiance was chill and there were a lot of places to sit but we took our food to-go. I know there was a lot of hype when these guys took over the fast food Mediterranean scene, but they are "just" ok to me. I tried them back when the lines were long and again recently. I asked for a side salad, which was extremely disappointing and appeared to be just lettuce until he asked if I wanted a few ad-ins. They provide you with sauce in a pouch and he offered that same pouch to use as "salad dressing". The meat tasted like hamburger meat, they only add shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes (like you get at a cheap taco place). Being a vegetarian I was skeptical about the food but this place exceeded my expectations. The falafel were very crispy and tasted absolutely amazing!! The service was fast and easy despite ordering from Grubhub and Uber. The ambience is just like a fastfood place but very clean. I really enjoy the food at Halal Guys. On this visit, in addition to my usual chicken platter, I decided to try the herbed beef platter since it's their current promotion. My kids said it wasn't that great, the original beef tastes better. I also had a coupon code for a free side, so I picked up a hummus which was a great compliment for the pita that comes with the platters. The food tasted fresh as per usual and I can never have enough of the white sauce!! This location is situated in a plaza with a ton of other eateries. It's clean, has plenty of parking (when I visited), and good customer service. The lady that helped me was super fast and efficient in getting my order together. She must've been the store manager because she definitely had her act together with serving and being cashier at the same time. This is our monthly Sunday early lunch spot. My kids both love Halal Guys and it's pretty hard to find something for them to both agree on besides fast food! We always get the chicken plate with two sides of fries. Their crinkle fries are the best! One box isn't enough for us to share so we always order two. My kids get everything on their plate except the jalapeños. My son is not a sauce person but he loves the white sauce here. I like to mix the white sauce with just a little of the red sauce for my plate and fries. Definitely glad I don't need to go to NY to have Halal Guys as that is the first place I tried it. They come in either 4 pieces for $7.25 or 6 pieces for $10.50. By default, it comes with a packet of their signature white sauce and red sauce as well. You will choose from one of 3 wing sauces to accompany those. Your choices are the Texas White Sauce, Buffalo White Sauce, and Memphis White Sauce. BBQ Sauce is a free add on as well. The wings themselves are perfectly cooked with a very light breading/coating that makes it crispy. I think that the wings themselves are actually very good. I tried them with the Texas White Sauce and it was so good. The sauce is very creamy and smokey like a BBQ sauce with a hint of sourness. After a terrible experience at the Rowland Heights location, decided to go to this one instead. I am glad! They know what they are doing here. Clearly, management is more sensible and applies proper measures to protect themselves and patrons. Pandemic measures implemented - line barrier set up for ordering and online order pick up - marked spaces innline to ensure distancing between patrons - single chairs with covid signs spaced out for those who want to sit and wait for their orders - posted signs on door of mandatory masks required - contactless payment terminal (Samsung pay, Google pay, not sure on Apple Pay) - order counter has door held open preventing any physical contact Visited 12/17/20. Mobile order pick up. Stood in line at the marked distance spaces. Got to the front but order was not ready at the given pick up time. Took about extra 7 minutes to be done but it was fresh. Was able to redeem Yelp check-in free fries with platter purchase since not able to claim in the app. The staff member was courteous and allowed redemption. Might be why my order took a bit longer to receive because of the fries. It was made exactly as ordered yay! I saw 2 customers in line while I was waiting away from the line. They were the only ones in line but they crowded the front of the line at the cashier. They should have waited in the marked spaces in line and wait to be called up to place their orders. These customers were not distancing themselves! I think Halal Guys staff should remind customers to please stand behind the line until called to step up for order especially when the cashier is juggling taking new orders and handing out finished orders. Since these customers were crowding the front, they were too close to the cashier when she was calling orders for pick up. That's not very safe and could easily been prevented. read more

We called our uber driver and he said the staff told them "everything was in the bag" yet failed to check. It sucks for customer to have to drive back to the location because of missing items. I was wary of the jalapeños but she was correct- not too spicy and very enjoyable for someone who's got almost zero tolerance for heat. I love that it's never crowded and the service is always quick. The food tastes great. I like to request barbecue sauce on the side so I'm happy when the workers take the time to fill the small to-go sauce cups w/ barbecue sauce. The hot sauce is also really good and keeps me coming back. I would have given this place 5 stars but if you don't order fries right away or you say no to their initial offer of fries because you changed your mind (or in my case find that there's a yelp check-in offer for free fries), the workers always tell you that you should have said yes earlier because the fries take long to cook. They told me it would take 3 mins to cook. I don't mind waiting 3 extra minutes because the fries are delicious. I don't think they should be chastising customers who change their mind or order fries last minute especially if it's only an extra 3 minutes you have to wait.
