It was late at night and my options were limited. I heard of The Halal Guys but had no idea what the hype was all about. I wasn't interested in fast food burgers so, after seeing several pictures of the food, I decided it's the perfect time to try The Halal Guys. I happen to walk in just in time before they close and to my surprise, I was greeted with a warm welcome. I was interested in trying the spicy lamb special but they had run out of it earlier that day. I have to say it was awesome to not feel rushed while deciding my order so I want to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT to MAXON. Thanks to him, I was in and out within less than 5 minutes and he hooked it up!! I only bought one plate but I had SO MUCH FOOD leftover that I took it for lunch the next day and still couldn't finish it. Luckily he gave me some extra white sauce which was a blessing because I'm all about my sauces and that white sauce is addicting! Had to give this place a try since it was so hyped up. Honestly, no regrets it was a good experience but it's not something I would get often. How you order is through an assembly line, similar to Chipotle, and you go down the line and tell the server what you want on your plate. I got the regular beef/gyro platter which came to be around $10. Not a bad price for the portions they give you! You could probably share with another person if you wanted to. The first couple of bites were savory and unique but it eventually got tiring. I thought it was just me but my friend said the same thing. If I didn't added extra "white sauce" then I probably wouldn't been able to finish it. Maybe, the taste suits some people and doesn't for others. Regardless, I would recommend giving it a try. I have been to Halal Guys a few times, but most recently right before quarantine. I tried the Gyro platter and fell in love so I have stuck to that ever since. I always get it with extra pita and I am in love with the hot and white sauces they use. The food here is very good and very reasonably priced. Not only that but you get a ton of food for your money. I have never actually had my food here, I have always gone in and ordered to-go. It is pretty small inside and it is kind of halfway between a fast food feel and a sit down feel. Think like a subway or a chipotle. I personally prefer to take it to-go but there isn't really anything bad necessarily with eating there. Great food, super quick and easy service. Definitely a good spot if you are working nearby because the line moves really quick. read more

Not only is the food great, the fries are fresh made to order, and the customer service is awesome. People here are nice and helpful. Not many fast food places or restaurants in general have friendly staff, but they do. Get a combo and some fries. You will love it. read more

I met my husband for lunch here. He was limited to 30 minute lunch so I thought to come a little early and order before he arrived. I got there at 11:45am and there was no line. I've tried the OG Halal Guys in NYC so of course everything served there was fresher and better. This location still kept up pretty good standards though so it didn't disappoint! I always get the combo platter w/ Chicken & Gyro (it's good to have a variety of their proteins and they mesh soooo well with the white sauce and hot sauce). Definitely eat it with a lot of white sauce and just a little bit of hot sauce - it's VERY spicy.. a little goes a long way lol. Pita bread tastes good with it as well. The parking lot is normally packed so be prepared to make a few rounds. Valet in the lot is free, if you choose to go that route. The lines seemed to have cooled down, so you are not waiting for upwards of an hour to get in. The quantity you receive for the price is a good ratio. I would still prefer going to the original cart in NY (price and quality were a lot better back when I had it in 2012). The chicken platter seems to be fill me up real good. I think I go for the sauce more than anything else. All other items in the plate are very average tasting. Only a $1 difference between the small and regular, so go with the regular to get more quantity. Be careful of the hot sauce. I have warned almost everyone with me of how hot this thing actually is. Only a couple drops would be fine if you are not into spicy stuff. Tip: Eat at the restaurant - they normally come around and ask if you want more hot and white sauce for free. Also if you are a frequent visitor, be sure to join their rewards program to accumulate points/freebies. read more

I am so glad I stayed... Since it didn't take that long for me to get my order. The line moves super fast. The concept of THG is similar to Subway and Chipotle. You choose the entree then it moves through the assembly line and the meat/toppings are added to your liking. As a first timer I tried: ***The combo platter with chicken and gyro. It comes with orange rice, lettuce, and chopped tomatoes. I can't stop raving about it!! So delish!! The gyro was flavorful. The chicken was also good but, it had a dry texture. No problem add extra WHITE sauce and hot (red) sauce to it. It got me scraping my plate to the last bite. Yes, foodie problems. Food is amazing. Service is quick. I will more than likely come back!! Parking is not too bad if you come here for really lunch or early dinner. There usually is plenty of parking unless it's Friday night or the usual busy times. I have been here numerous times already and they consistently give good service as well as portions of food. It is enough to eat and have some leftover, if that is your thing. The food is hot, and the sauce ha no comparison. What I like about their serving method is you always get a fresh slice off the rotisserie roast. Not something precut sitting under a heat lamp. The ventilation sometimes is not so good and it smells very greasy. That is understandable, but does not take away from the experience, since you get used to it after a while. Way over due review! My boyfriend and I went to get a late night meal and after hours of being indecisive we finally decided to try halal guys for the first time. Our experience there was nothing but awesome! We came in late close to closing time and was assisted by Irvin. Irvin gave us a run down on all the options and how to make the best plate possible! I know it's fast food Mediterranean but Irvin went above and beyond by giving us a rundown on how to properly eat and mix the ingredients. My boyfriend did not expect a chain can make such great impression but he keeps insisting Irvin deserves high recognition for his work ethic and customer service. I love the gyro, hummus and pita bread here. The portion for a small platter is good for lunch and the regular size platter is good for 2 meals for one person. I never tried the chicken here yet it must be as good too. I don't get a lot of the signature sauce just light sauce then mix some hummus on the gyro and enjoy pita bread with the hummus too that comes with a large piece of un cut pita bread so you can break it off to dip or spread hummus on it. Food is tasty here. Got to try it at least once. The parking lot is not all that huge so sometimes you may have to valet park for free at this location. read more

I usually really like getting food here for dine in, but due to Covid we obviously wasn't able to. I got there to get some takeout, and went home to find out they didnt give me any sauce at all. I have heard so many good things about The Halal Guys the past couple years so I thought that I'd finally try it out. So I may have given the staff a hard time because I've never placed an order through yelp before and somehow thought the order would be under the cardholder's name. SORRY. but THANK YOU to Carolina and the Halal staff for troubleshooting the situation, accommodating my brother and I, and just providing excellent service. That truly made this experience great. So food. I went with the falafel salad option because I'm vegetarian. It was great. I really enjoyed the salad with the white sauce. The red sauce is crazy spicy. Kind of has a kick that dances on your tongue for a brief second before it becomes a full blown wildfire. Really tasty dish :) Just be careful with that red sauce lol.
