We visited today and sat on the patio. The food, drinks, and ambiance were lovely--definitely had potential for a great experience. Unfortunately, the service was underwhelming. When it started raining, our male server/bartender who looked Hispanic noticed us struggling but didn't acknowledge us or offer assistance. We had to move everything ourselves and stood inside with our food and drinks getting soaked. The restaurant wasn't even busy, yet not a single staff member offered help while few stood around chatting. It's a shame, because the place is beautiful. But good service is non-negotiable. Cute new restaurant up in LoHi! I came here for a bday party recently and I was so excited to check this place out! The atmosphere is really great and the decor has a classic vibe. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always making sure we were set. The food and drinks were pretty darn good as well! I got the burger and an espresso martini and both were great!! I might be cheating by posting after friends and family but I need everyone to know that THIS is going to be the new spot in Denver. I moved a few months ago from South Florida where there is an amazing Hampton Social location so I was excited to see this concept come to Denver and they have nailed it. I am pumped for everyone (especially all the girlies who brunch) to get to experience this. First of all, whoever is hiring and training for brand consistency. *chefs kiss* fabulous job. Hostesses were welcoming. Madalyn was our server in the bar area and she was on it with the recommendations. Bar tenders were vibing which created a really nice energy. Thoughtful and authentic service at every turn. It also doesn't hurt that the aesthetic is beautiful. Bright yet cozy feel in every part of the restaurant. The space is a lot bigger than I expected but it's cool because each area feels like it could be a different vibe if you wanted it to be. What I mean is there's a formal dining area which feels a little more intimate, then there's a great bar area with seating for something more casual and probably a little louder (and 4 TVs if you're into that), then there's a great rooftop space which felt like a blend of the two. As for the food!! No one will read this if it's too long so I'll wrap it up. Stay with me. Everything we ate was incredible AND beautiful. I think a lot of restaurants in Denver have nailed the aesthetic/ instagrammable plate but the food itself often lets you down and that is not the case here. The plates are thoughtful and the ingredients are quality making the entire experience worth the spend (in dollars and calories). I couldn't decide which I liked better of the appetizers, Golden Beet Salad or the Crab and Shrimp Bruschetta. The ciabatta they used for the bruschetta was a carb-lovers DREAM. My favorite of the entrees was uncontested - the Skirt Steak was a must. I don't know what they marinade the meat in, but it was worthy of a little happy dance so bring your girlfriends here when they are hungry. Honestly, I was getting Plankton vibes bc I'd do some questionable things to get my hands on that recipe. So good. Last recommendation was the most perfect cocktail - Gin in the Nick of Thyme or something punny like that but the thyme is what really sold me. Light, fresh and citrusy. YUM. Went for brunch. Menu somewhat basic nothing to really standout. Had Caesar salad with salmon. Salmon was fine.perhaps a little over cooked. Salad was so salty hardly able to eat . This place is beautiful definitely love the all white and coastal Hampton-esque vibes however I really wish they figured out better music. For early dinner at 5pm they had the same techno beat playing LOUDLY the WHOLE TIME. I felt like I was in a club vs a beautifully decorated restaurant. The prices are high and not exactly equaling what you get for food. $24 for 1 crab cake and a few rando greens seems a bit steep. Got the salmon and it was $36 for just salmon on some mushy spinach a few stalks of asparagus and cucumbers, they claim it comes with crab salad but it was just like pickled radish on top I think. I saw no seafood on top. The dish was so bland. I would have much rather on a bed of quinoa or something else. My guest got the fish n chips and it came out with cold fries. Lastly we got the donuts for my day and the bottom part of the dish had a HOT HONEY that makes the donuts soggy and gives a weird heat with the ice cream and chocolate. Please lose the HOT HONEY - it just doesn't go. Overall kind of mediocre but overpriced dinner with 2 drinks it's was $180 for 2 of us for not amazing food. We were greeted by a smiley Sara at the front door and Angelina's table service was one of the best we have had. The food was fresh and presented extremely well. What a cool spot! Seems like you're in Ft. Lauderdale without the Atlantic. We went in to check the place out on a Saturday afternoon, maybe have one drink, 2.5 hours later we tried a bunch of the food which was really good, along with plenty of great cocktails. I went for brunch yesterday. While the beverages were to our liking, the service was sub par for this level of a restaurant they claim to be and the prices they charge. There would be spurts of 20 minutes at a time where the bartender would be MIA. We had to ask the bar back to get our server more than once. The oysters were about $4 each and the quality of the oysters I give a C+. The live acoustic music was awesome and the sound system was great during our meal. To management, get your servers a retraining on how to attend a large bar. Add a bartender if you have to for Sundays. read more

We ate here for brunch and the food and service was wonderful BUT we were sat back by the fireplace and half way through our meal the music started blaring SO LOUD that the 2 of us had to yell at each other to talk. The first half of our meal was wonderful but once they started blasting music it ruined the atmosphere and we decided to leave. I am cautious to go back if the music is always that loud. Hampton Social is a new spot in Denver (LoHi) that opened a few weeks ago. We dined on a Wednesday evening. The service was top notch provided by our server Brie (sp.?). She was friendly, attentive and fulfilled the customization request of the lobster roll. Overall the food was very good. A little expensive for what you receive, but you are also paying for the ambiance, service, etc.. The Colossal Crab Cake was not as colossal as it could have been, but it was fantastic. It was the best crab cake I have had in Denver to date. The Fish Tacos were excellent, nice portion size (3 tacos), and the mango salsa had some heat which is appreciated and the fish was perfectly cooked. The lobster roll was a little underwhelming. My rule is the fancier the restaurant, the worse the lobster roll is. This wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. You can find a better one at Maine Shack right next door. The French Fries were hot and delicious. Two thumbs up. Hampton Water Rose' was excellent, along with the Coastal Experience cocktail. Liked the star anise floating in the drink! The Banana Cream Pie is served on a Belgian waffle and was very rich and heavy but still delicious! The Blueberry Bread Pudding was just okay. All in all, I would say it was a 4 star experience, based on the negatives of the lobster roll and overall price of the meal. I will return for another go in a few months. read more

We walked out of this place disillusioned! We tried their location in Chicago and it was awesome from the moment we walked in the door till we were done. So when we came here it was a bummer. We sat at the bar where we went unnoticed for a few limited by the squad of bartenders there. They didn't bring us a full menu, we went specifically for their happy hour and that menu wasn't available to us. So we had to ask. They never offered us any water or anything else. We sat around for a good 10-15 minutes waiting. I don't understand what makes the employees feel so comfortable not offering any good service. read more

Great experience. Stopped here on our way home from a long trip home to Iowa from San Juan National Forest. Vibe is cool. We were definitely underdressed but staff all made us feel welcome starting with the host. Service was fantastic, our server Pace went above and beyond. They found out it was an anniversary trip for us and sent a little desert with a candle to our table, it was really sweet. The food was excellent. We both had a lobster roll and it's definitely one of the best lobster rolls we have had. The desert was equally great. Will definitely stop here again when in Denver! read more

I chose this spot for date night because it seemed to have some Island vibes and my husband and I have really been missing Florida. The Island vibes were really the only thing this place got right. I ordered the burger because what I wanted was sold out (we got there at 5 :/). I have had better burgers at bars. I was pretty disappointed. My husband ordered the steak and it was very small and way over cooked. We wanted the option to order from the happy hour menu so we were sat close to the bar. It was louder than we would have liked but I know that's some people's jam. The part I was not okay with was watching one of the bar tenders rub his face over and over and then fix his man bun without ever washing his hands. So disgusting. Our waiter was nice, but he and management all seemed to be a lot more concerned with a table full of young women. That's annoying for us as we are really great tippers, but not when we are neglected so you can flirt. read more

Came here (via inKind recommendation) for the first time to try Happy Hour. The drinks, oysters, and happy hour food were all 10/10!!! The service was impeccable, 12/10. Our waiter deserves a raise for being so pleasant and ultra attentive but not in a creepy way! Also, super fresh tasting fish. The location had free 2hr parking streetside available at 4pm on a weeknight and the classy decor inside was welcoming with a true casual yet modern maritime vibe. Nice big patio but it was too windy to sit outside. On a warmer day this would've been a great place to go to see and be seen. They could probably turn the A/C down a bit inside, however, as it was so cold that we had to keep our jackets on. There was a live guitarist playing near the bar and his remix of pop music was pretty good. Made for an extra enjoyable experience. Had to deduct a star though cuz the desserts were horrible. The key lime pie tasted like a boxed mix and the banana creme pie had this weird, very tough banana bread crust. Quite unpleasant to eat. We didn't finish it. However, we will return for everything but the dessert. It's not the most pricey restaurant in Denver, but definitely not the cheapest either. read more

Stumbled upon this gem on a slow Sunday! The cutest patio and huge windows to enjoy the Denver skyline! A little slice of California in the mountains! This is anew place that I've always wanted to try! My friend invited me to her birthday brunch and couldn't wait to try. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful! It's bigger inside that what it looks! There's plenty of seatings for big groups and super open. They have a good selection of brunch booze and frozen shots which my fiends enjoyed! The food was okay for the price. I got the crispy tofu bowl! The tofu was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The dressing was not homemade tastes like may ploy sweet and sour sauce but worked well for the bowl. My friend had the avocado toast hit for 20 bucks it just was a little over priced for a toast with asparagus and avocados. Overall great nice area, our waitress was sweet and patient with our big groups. The best part is the payment system. Since we were all splitting the bill they had a scan your receipt and pay your portion which I thought was great instead of telling our waitress our individual order. read more
